INT. SETUP - DAY |
|
|
In the year 2005 a nuclear holocaust split the world into
two...Zombies and Humans. All the governments of the world
have been wiped out. Now in the year 2007 all that remains
to oppose the zombie threat is a small band of rag-tag Navy
SEALs led by Commander Tom Flash, LT John Rock, and Sniper
Kelly Wood. The Team has been moving thru the woods to get
to Flashs old house ,where the team believes no zombies are,
when they reach blendon woods and find that they are not the
only ones left alive....

(camera is looking at woods in the back of pauls moms house,
all of a sudden 3 SEALs come out of nowhere and start moving
towards Bishop, Chip, and Jack around a campfire. Team moves
in and makes sure the 3 are friendlies) |

(Chip stands and holds out his hand, pleased to see other
humans, especially Navy SEALs.) |

(start walking in the woods you can see houses coming up in
the distance. its rocks house(ammo depo) next house is chips
(brads hosue) then sarges house (pauls dads).) |

Ok theres my old house...the
garage door is open so lets make
this quick and easy, were gonna
roll in via the garage once were
all in, were going to close it and

enter the house after we clear the
house of any zombies we will make
our way downstairs to get the
weapons. |

INT. ROCKS HOUSE - DAY |

(Garage door closing, team safely inside.) |

OK, just like Rock said..quick and
easy lets roll in and clear the
house. Private, u Chip and Jack
are going with me to clear the
house. Bishop you and Rock get
downstairs to get those weapons.

(Team enters house and splits up Flashes team moves upstairs
while Rock and Bishop go downstairs.) |

we get to the bottom of the steps

(open door and both rush down steps.) |

(Hear gun fire from upstairs and then Flash speaks) |

(Flash speaks into his Tactical radio (Tac-radio)) |

Rock, upstairs is clear were
moving down to your level.over |

(Bishop and Rock are joined by the rest of the team) |

Ok looks like the ammo locker is

have ammo here and we can hold out

Then what? what happens when we
run out of food? or if those
things realize that the entire
back of the house is made of
mostly glass windows? |

(Jack looks scared) |

believe me buddy, you dont wanna
be in here when a thousand of them
realize they can get in here real
nice and easy. atleast at my house
we have safety, food and water. |

Hes got a point bartender, we stay
here, were as good as dead, theres
no food or cover here. all we have
is the food in our packs and the
ammo on our belts. |

JACK
(To Team)
then....maybe...we take a
vote!...ye we take a vote to see
how many of us are willing to go
back out there for a place that
for all we know is over run with
those fucking things! |

(To team)
Ok then man...lets take a
vote...all in favor of stayin
here? |
|
|

(Only Jack raises his hand, Wood spits on the ground and
readjusts his weapon) |

out to Sarges house? |
|

You lose... ok team we rest for 5,
gear up with every bit of ammo u
can find, then we hump it to my
house. |

INT. AMBUSHED - DAY |
|
|
(team walking thru the woods, zombies come out and start
attacking, only 10 of them, they jump on Jack and Rock,
after all the zombies have been killed everyone makes sure
everyone is ok. Rock is not bitten, Jack is secretly bitten
but hides it from the rest of the team.) |

wooo, good shootin man, i owe you

neighborhood, we can stay at my

Ok, lets get in there and clear it
to make sure its safe then we will
leave for my house tomorrow. |

(Team starts to walks towards Chips house, team is carrying
on conversations) |

(darkness starts to fall team moves out, we get to Chips
house when darkness falls completely.) |

yourselves at home. im gonna go
make sure everything is locked
down. |

(everybody takes off jackets and gear belts puts in own
seperate piles. Wood notices Jack has a bite on his arm.) |

WOOD
(To Jack)
your bit you fuck! why didnt you
tell us? your puttin us all in
jepordy mother fucker! |

(crew starts looking at jack with suspicion, jack is nervous
and starts backing away.) |

The FUCK you are! (pistol whips

putting us all in danger! |

(Jack looks sick and falls over dead. everyone points there
guns at him, then suddenly Jack jumps up and gets on the
ceiline crawls away then falls to the floor lands on feet
and jumps out the window (all while avoiding gun fire) Wood
and Rock run to the window to make sure he is gone and see
him dip off into the woods. Wood makes to go out the window
after him but Rock stops him) |

would not rest, that every breath
of mine would be committed to
hunting every last one of those

(Rock walks up roof and puts foot on the peek then stares
off to the sunrise... Wood and Flash walk up on either side

(SEAL team walks in as Bishop and Chip are waking up) |

We havent seen any this morning
but there was major Z activity
last night. we think they were
testing for weak points in the
structure of the house...fuckers

(There is a loud crash and the Team runs downstairs to find
zombies climbing thru the windows) |

(Team is walking thru woods with 5 feet between men, Rock is
using his computer to follow heat parterns on a satalite
image of their location) |

(Rock runs up and shows Flash the problem...Zombies are only
a 10 minute run behind them) |

Alright you heard Rock guys, lets

(team gets moving into a jogging motion after a while of
running you can see the river up ahead but zombies are right
behind them now, wood had ran ahead to start up the boat and
get it ready) |

(wood starts to fire then throws a grenade) |

(Team gets in and casts off just before 30 zombies get to
the dock, a few try to walk out but sink) |

(team makes its way across river gets out of boat and runs
up hill towards Flashes house (pauls dads)little did they
know that zombies were walking on the bottom of the river to

(Team enters Sarges house (pauls dads) via the basement
door. we lock the door then clear the basement.) |

Im going to set up our main area

(Team unloads packs, sets up trip wires on the windows, gets
grenades, pipebombs, c-4 puts it all on a table to see how
much explosives they have. set up camp during this time.) |

(In the basement of pauls dads house Chip, Rock, Flash, and
the 2 kids are sleeping, Bishop and Wood are on lookout,
each are looking out different windows of the basement.) |

(Show both guys watchin out the window then do one of those
time elapsing things so it seems like 3 hours has gone by,
Bishop goes to wake up Flash.) |

i gotcha, hey Rock, check the
satalite images for Z's. i want a
2 klick perimeter sweep, tell me
if any of them are within 2 klicks
of us. |

(Rock has allready had computer open and checking for
images.) |

Good, good. hey man lets get some
coffee going or something. |

(Flash walks up to where Rock was positioned and Rock gets
down from the window and starts to make coffee. Flash has
Rocks rifle in his hands just in case zombies come while
rock is making the coffee. Chip rolls over onto his back and
is awake.) |

Thats a smell i havent smelled in
a LOOOONG time! (talking about
coffee) |

(Chip gets up and starts making coffee, all of a sudden
Flash starts to open fire out the window Rock runs over to
see what the problem is and sees 15 zombies walking towards
the house, Rock pulls out his side arm (cuz flash has his
rifle) and starts firing, Wood, Bishop, and Chip are all up
at the other window now firing as well. after about 3
minutes of this the zombies back off back into the woods.) |

well since everyone is up, how
about some breakfast? |

(everyone agrees and starts to open up packs to get food, no
one notices eric and aaron slip upstairs.) |

INT. TOUGH CHOICE - DAY |
|
|
(Team is eating and resting, while Wood and Bishop watch the
windows. Aaron and Eric are still not back) |

|

(To Rock)
...so then i said to him your one
lucky son of a bitch travis. |
|
|

(Rock cracks up laughing along with Chip, but Flashs mood
becomes saddened) |

(To Chip and Rock)
...that was the last night i saw
him, he was killed by Z's the next
day... |

the steps covered in blood. Chip gets up to see what the

(Aaron walks down steps, he has become a zombie, and jumps
on Chip and bites him in the neck. Rock and Flash both pull
out pistols and shoot eric at the top of the steps, then
turn to fire on aaron still chewing on Chip while he is
screaming) |

CHIP
(To Rock)
FUCKIN SHOOT HIM! AAAAAAAAAAAA.... |

(Chip falls over and dies, Aaron gets up and looks at Rock
and Flash and is about to jump at them when his head is
blown off by Wood who heard the comotion and snuck up behind
him. Wood, Bishop, and Flash all stand over Chips lifeless
body, Bishop points his gun at Chips head. Chip awakens and
has become a zombie and Bishop shoots him dead.meanwhile
Rock has went upstairs to make sure Eric is dead.) |

We need to get upstairs and make
sure they didnt let any other Z's

(Team grabs weapons and makes way upstairs, although the
house is clear of zombies, the back windows have been
shattered and teh boards that covered them destroyed.) |

We cant stay here, its no longer
safe, everyone get all your gear,
we roll out in 15 minutes. |

INT. ROLL OUT - DAY |

(Team is gearing up in basement, once everyone is ready to
roll, Rock runs over to the Claymore detinators and blows
all the claymores so the zombies will be distracted while
they leave out of the front of the house and get into the
woods.after Rock blows mines, team runs upstairs and stands
infront of the front door and exits.) |

Wood, start building a stronghold
right by those trees (point) |

(camera pans around from team member to team member showing
how each one is preparing for the final stand against the
zombies. Bishop and Wood are Building the fort while Flash
is checking ammo and Rock is making sure the rig is set up
properly) |

(finally its starting to get dark, no zombies are around
(Rock checks the satalite images and says so)) |

(his question is met with silience, the team looks upset
then finally Wood says something) |

(Rock spends the rest of the night trying to establish a
satalite link with the people in Amhurst (last human city)
to tell them whats about to happen. finally he gets a link
and tells the mayor of the city to tell the people to get
into a bomb shelter the next day because the nuke might
reach the outskirts of Amhurst. The Mayor thanks the SEAL
team for their sacrifice for mankind and wishes them
goodluck...now the SEALs are on their own again.) |

INT. FINAL STAND - DAY |
|
|
(All 4 Team members are standing up and looking into the
distance from where you can hear zombies yelling and running
down toward the team.) |

As i walk thru the valley of the
shadow of death... |

Rock, Wood, and Flash all say "i shall fear no evil because
i am the baddest mother fucker in the valley!" |

The rig is set up allready all
that last man has to do is push
the big red button and BOOM...its
over. |

(To team)
Alright men, disperse, you know
what to do, last man alive, blow
the rig... |

(Team moves toward battle areas and gets ready to fire, the
zombies are in eyesight now but still about a minute run

away. Team starts to look nervous and anxious but still calm
and collected.The zombie screams are very loud now when
Flash yells out) |

(To Team)
OPEN FIRE!!! |

(The noise is deafening as Rock, Wood, Bishop and Flash all
open up at the same time, Rock stops firing his rifle and
throws a grenade) |

ROCK
(To Team)
FIRE IN THE HOLE!! |
|
|
|

WOOD
(To Team)
FIRE IN THE HOLE! |

|
|
(All 4 get down as the explosion blows up zombies) |

FLASH
(To Team)
Grenades....use them! NOW! |

|
|
(All 4 men pull out all their grenades and throw one after
another until they are all out besides for one each (suicide
grenades) |

|
|
(the zombies are very close now, and start to over run the
team, 4 zombies jump on Bishop and start to bite him when he
pulls out his last grenade) |

BISHOP
(To Team)
GOODLUCK GUYS! |

(Bishop pulls the pin and blows up along with the 4 zombies
no him, Rock cant believe his eyes but continues to fire,
Flash is out of Rifle ammo and is now almost out of pistol
ammo.Wood is now out of rifle ammo and is using his pistol.
Flash finally looks back after his sidearm runs out of ammo) |

(Flash pulls out his machette and his knife and runs into

the oncoming zombies, he cuts a few down before he is
engulfed in them and dies. Wood and Rock both start to fall
back toward the fort to blow the rig, when Wood is shot up 3
times by super zombies.) |

HOLY SHIT ROCK! SUPER Z'S!! |

(Wood starts to crawl toward the rig, Rock pulls out his
pistol and starts firing while backing up toward rig, he is
shot up a few times and you can hear the super zombies
yelling to the regular zombies to stop the SEALs. Rock falls
over and starts crawling towards the rig as well while
turnin over and shooting a few times) |

(Finally Rock and Wood both make it to the rig and are both
starring at it then at eachother.) |

(To Rock)
It has been the greatest honor of

(Both extend arms and handshake then bring handshake down to

INT. END CREDITS - DAY |

(Black Hawk Down music playing, Commander Tom Flash, LT John
Rock, Crpl Kelly Wood, and Dan Bishop were all awarded the
Medal of Honor for extreme bravery and courage. The zombie
threat was wiped out and mankind once again ruled the earth.
To this day there is a statue in Amhurst of the Final Stand
made by 4 of the bravest men the world had ever known. |

| Good job Jane. Not a bad short. However, I will have to agree with some of Denis Taaffe's points in his 2005 comments. It does need some work, but a very good effort none the less. Have you done anymore scripts? Keep up the good work! |

| Well, the idea isnt bad, but the script needs to be more detailed and muchlonger and defined...you seem to skip over key points in the script, when 10 zombies attack, what happens to them for example, how do they meet their fate? what is the action, also, maybe personalizing the characters more would make a film viewer care for them more, as it is , these are just joe blo "deliverence" hoodlums , we dont know anything about them. I wouldn't give up n this script, but maybe more thought and detail into it...I don't mind the idea and it could be a cool script...hope to re-read it as a featue film where you can take time to personalize characters and go not more thoughtful detail, also some of the dialog could be a little more intersting.not bad overall, but just needs a little more work in my opinion... |
