This is a delicate situation and
there is no easy way to put this
so forgive me. Cheryl was
assaulted

                       BRANDY
What do you mean assaulted?

                       DR. CURTIS MONROE
She was physically and sexually
assaulted

                       DR. CURTIS MONROE
Your sister (Ms. Hunter) bruise
ribs and also a slightly bruise
jaw which we had to temperary
wired back into place, her
shoulder was also seperated so was
two fingers on her right hand,
vaginal lacerations, syncope which
is....

                       BRANDY
Fainting

                       DR. CURTIS MONROE
Exactly, we took blood samples
which checks for any diseases,
that should be back in a week or
two. And also semen sample to see
if we have a DNA match of any
sexual offender in the past. That
goes to the police department who
will then conduct and
investigation hopefully leading to
capture of the perpetrator., Here
is my card. Do you have any
questions?

                       BRANDY
Is it as bad as it sounds

                       DR. CURTIS MONROE
Well from my examination the
crushing blow that she suffered to
her ribcage and upper abdomen
didn’t rupture anything, luckily
it was just bruised which is also
serious because when dealing with
the human anatomy internally
everything is serious, cause one
thing can lead to another or cause
infections or something else. But

                       CHERYL
I’m dead serious, as crazy as that
might sound. I think that,... I
know that at this time she would
be better in my care and I’m not
questioning Curtis ability to care
for her.

26.

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
So what do you call it?

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
I just think that it’s better if
she’s place under my care.

                       CHERYL
So you just expect me to up and
put her under your care just like
that, and what do I tell Curtis?,
That she would be better in
Heather’s care than yours

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Yes, if that’s the truth, why not

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
I can’t do that. In case you
forgot he is a doctor also. A very
qualified doctor I might add

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Listen I know he is, but why not,
we are all professionals

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Yes we are all grown and we are
suppose to be professionals.
Aren’t we, and we should act like
it.

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Yes we are suppose to be
professionals. Aren’t we, and we
should act like it.

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Don't ridicule or chastize me
Wendy.

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
I'm not, I just want you realize
what you asking me to do.

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Do you realize what I’m asking you
to do?

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
I don’t think you do, did you see
what happen today?

27.

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Yes, I saw, and I’m not going to
question his professional ability
and that’s exactly what you are
asking me to do. I’m sorry can do
that!

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM

                       CHERYL

Cheryl listen,

                       CHERYL
      (Cont'd)
Let me see, go to therapy sit on a
couch let some rocket scientist
with a degree and no common sense
tell me some bullshit that's
supposed to make me fell better.
Well I'm sorry I don't Brandy. I
had everything taken away from me
but my life, just like that. Now

Heather continue to check out Cheryl. (Ex. Jaw, kidney,
Ribs etc. Then remove the IV from her arm)

Grimace with a little pain

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Where do you feel the pain most?

                       CHERYL
Does that really matter? I feel

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM

                                         CUT TO:

INT. HOSPITAL HALLWAY - DAY

Brandy exits the restroom and slowly walks down the hallway.
Dr. Monroe standing at the receptionist desk glances at her
from the side.

                       DR. CURTIS MONROE
Brandy

                       BRANDY
Hello Doctor

                       BRANDY

33.

                       DR. CURTIS MONROE
Hey don't let me hold you, I talk
to you, take care and I'll see you
later

Dr. Monroe walks towards the room

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM - MOMENTS LATER - DAY

Heather opens the door and is startle by Dr. Monroe's.

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
      ((light scream))
Curtis, you almost gave me a
nervous break down

Cheryl jumps up and looks towards the door.

                       DR. CURTIS MONROE
I'm sorry, are you alright?

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Fine, I'm fine, didn't expect to
see you as soon as I open the door

                       DR. CURTIS MONROE
That makes two of us. Excuse me

Wendy walks to the receptionist desk and looks on from afar
discreetly.

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
She's fine, I check on her already

                       DR. CURTIS MONROE
That's good, and I thank you, but
I would like to preform my own

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Curtis I don't think that's a good
idea. She needs her rest

                       DR. CURTIS MONROE
I have a job to do.

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Curtis, I understand that....

Wendy walks over and interjects in the conversation

34.

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Hey, hey this is neither the time
or place for this. This is a
hospital not a bar or hang out
spot. So please, thank you

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
      (Cont'd)
Heather can I see you in my
office.

                                         JUMP CUT TO:

running thin waiting, she gets up and walks toward the door
and on her way out is met by Wendy.

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Have a seat. I'll get right to
the point. Your behavior was
totally out of line, infantile and
unprofessional. She is in the
hands of a capable, caring
professional who has her best
interest in mind and can handle
the situation and I will not have
you continue to interfare or
criticize. So I would advice you
to let him do his job before I
have to interject.

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Is that it?

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
No, and I don't expect to see a
repeat of today's incident ever
again, Are we clear?

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Are we done?

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Not until we are clear that this
situation with not show it's ugly
head again. Now are we clear?

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
Don't you dare treat me like I'm
some child.

35.

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Then I suggest that you stop
acting like one

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
I think we are done here

                       DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Just as long as we are clear

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
We're done

As Heather walks to the door she stop and looks back....

                       DR. HEATHER GRAM
      (Cont'd)
You know what, you really don't
understand what is going on here

CLOSE SHOT OF WENDY AS HEATHER WALKS OUT AND CLOSE THE DOOR
THEN CUT BACK TO HEATHER STANDING OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR. THEN
CUT BACK TO A SLOW CLOSE UP OF WENDY.

                                         FADE TO:

INT. RECEPTIONIST DESK - MID DAY - DAY

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM - DAY

                       OFFICER KATE
Excuse me, may I come in?

                       BRANDY
Sure, can we help you?

                       OFFICER KATE
      (show badge)
Is this a bad time?

                       CHERYL
No
