Exactly, we took blood samples
which checks for any diseases,
that should be back in a week or

if we have a DNA match of any
sexual offender in the past. That
goes to the police department who
will then conduct and
investigation hopefully leading to
capture of the perpetrator., Here
is my card. Do you have any
questions? |

BRANDY
Is it as bad as it sounds |

Well from my examination the
crushing blow that she suffered to
her ribcage and upper abdomen

thing can lead to another or cause
infections or something else. But

DR. HEATHER GRAM
I would like Cheryl transferred
under my care |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
WHAT? You have got to be nuts or
are you just out of your mind? |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Hear me out before you start over
reacting |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
I don’t know if you should, I mean

DR. HEATHER GRAM
I know it may sound a bit crazy |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Crazy, you cannot be serious |
CHERYL
I’m dead serious, as crazy as that
might sound. I think that,... I
know that at this time she would
be better in my care and I’m not
questioning Curtis ability to care
for her. |
26.
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
So what do you call it? |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
I just think that it’s better if
she’s place under my care. |
CHERYL
So you just expect me to up and
put her under your care just like
that, and what do I tell Curtis?,
That she would be better in
Heather’s care than yours |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Yes, if that’s the truth, why not |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
I can’t do that. In case you
forgot he is a doctor also. A very
qualified doctor I might add |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Listen I know he is, but why not,
we are all professionals |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Yes we are all grown and we are
suppose to be professionals.
Aren’t we, and we should act like
it. |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Yes we are suppose to be
professionals. Aren’t we, and we
should act like it. |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Don't ridicule or chastize me
Wendy. |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
I'm not, I just want you realize
what you asking me to do. |
DR. HEATHER GRAM

to do? |

what happen today? |
27.
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Yes, I saw, and I’m not going to
question his professional ability
and that’s exactly what you are
asking me to do. I’m sorry can do
that! |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Yeah me too.... |

BRANDY
Don't be so negative |
CHERYL
What else is there? |
BRANDY
How about I'm feeling better, I'm
recovering and ready to get on
with my life. |
CHERYL
What life?, How am I suppose to do
that genius? |
CHERYL
(Cont'd)
Let me guess. Just forget it

BRANDY
Why no(pause) .... |

CHERYL

DR. HEATHER GRAM
Where do you feel the pain most? |
CHERYL

DR. HEATHER GRAM

CHERYL

INT. HOSPITAL HALLWAY - DAY |
Brandy exits the restroom and slowly walks down the hallway.
Dr. Monroe standing at the receptionist desk glances at her

BRANDY
No, no I'll be back alittle later.
Plus Dr. Gram is with her now. |
33.
DR. CURTIS MONROE

Dr. Monroe walks towards the room |

DR. CURTIS MONROE

DR. CURTIS MONROE
That makes two of us. Excuse me |
Wendy walks to the receptionist desk and looks on from afar
discreetly. |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
She's fine, I check on her already |
DR. CURTIS MONROE
That's good, and I thank you, but
I would like to preform my own

DR. HEATHER GRAM
Curtis I don't think that's a good
idea. She needs her rest |
DR. CURTIS MONROE
I have a job to do. |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Curtis, I understand that.... |
Wendy walks over and interjects in the conversation |
34.
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Hey, hey this is neither the time
or place for this. This is a
hospital not a bar or hang out
spot. So please, thank you |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
(Cont'd)
Heather can I see you in my
office. |
INT. WENDY'S OFFICE -LATER - DAY |
Heather sits in Wendy's office waiting. Her patience is
running thin waiting, she gets up and walks toward the door
and on her way out is met by Wendy. |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Have a seat. I'll get right to
the point. Your behavior was
totally out of line, infantile and
unprofessional. She is in the
hands of a capable, caring
professional who has her best
interest in mind and can handle
the situation and I will not have
you continue to interfare or
criticize. So I would advice you
to let him do his job before I
have to interject. |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Is that it? |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
No, and I don't expect to see a
repeat of today's incident ever
again, Are we clear? |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Are we done? |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Not until we are clear that this
situation with not show it's ugly
head again. Now are we clear? |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
Don't you dare treat me like I'm
some child. |
35.
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Then I suggest that you stop
acting like one |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
I think we are done here |
DR. WENDY WRIGHT
Just as long as we are clear |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
We're done |
As Heather walks to the door she stop and looks back.... |
DR. HEATHER GRAM
(Cont'd)
You know what, you really don't
understand what is going on here |
CLOSE SHOT OF WENDY AS HEATHER WALKS OUT AND CLOSE THE DOOR
