Miles a short film
by thomas mcclure (thomasmcclurester@gmail.com)

Rated: R   Genre: Film Noir   User Review: 0 stars
Miles is a player with Kyrie and Ally. Kyrie is the lyrical chorus girl of his dreams and Ally is the red dress girl of his schemes. Kyrie finds Ally in Miles' Room. Miles cannot play in her band. Miles cannot play in her life.

Portland Noir Voiceover12

VOICE OVER Noir23

scene 9
A glow of light-hearted happiness seemed to radiate from
her. 15857

She tucked one of the many loose tussles of hair behind her
ear,15958

"No not at all, but I find it a ridiculous notion that they
could keep 16059

the slightest thing from me. Although it is pleasant to hear
that they care 16160

so much!" she responded. 16261

With a look of uncertainty, he said in a questioning 16362

manner,16463

"Any idea why that is?".16564

Letting go a youthful smile she said16665

"Well, because O. H."

scene 10
"I'm Yours Truly, a reckless, irresponsible Playgirl". 16766

Even he, the cold and complacent man he always was said to
be16867

couldn't help but be attracted to her bluntness. 16968

2.

She said what needed to be said and herself,17069

Oh you poor thing!" she exclaimed with her hand covering her
mouth.18370

scene 14
He had to finish this and settle it like 20891

nothing more than business. 20992

"No, I can't…I won't. Despite what you think, lady we're not
friends or lovers here, so, I'm not going to Europe with you
or anyone for that matter. Okay kid?". 21093

As he said those harsh bitter words, the sounds seemed to
pierce 21194

him as he spoke them, his face was cold but inside he became
a mess. growing 21295

Chaos within him, he argued with every side of himself and
every core of 21396

his being.

scene 20
Sitting in the darken room, silhouettes' cast by the
moonlight, a single strand of white smoke is seen from the
end of his cigarette, dimly lit in the room. 255133

He sits in the corner, on the chair by the window. 256134

He came for her to this place under the stars that skipped
her by. 258135

He ran away with her….136

Time seemed to elude him now.

And like the old flicker shows he used to see on cold autumn
Brooklyn nights these memories played out before him.

INT. MILES'S HOUSE/ROOM - DAY

INT. MILES' HOUSE/ROOM -- DAY
Kyrie arrives at Miles' house. No one comes to the door, so
she slowly opens it. She walks up to his room. On the way
up, she sees his guitar on the ground, and a couple strings
aren't on it. Kyrie looks really sad/confused.

Kyrie slowly turns Miles' door handle, but finds that it is
locked. RAP MUSIC is playing loudly in the room. She starts
to nock on the door. Miles opens the door. His eyes are
super red. He smiles at her. Some smoke comes out.

A LAUGH comes from behind the door. Kyrie pushes the door
open. Ally is sitting there LAUGHING.

Kyrie looks way confused and hurt and looks back between
Miles and Ally. Miles doesn't say anything.

Kyrie shakes her head and steps out of the room.

Miles shuts the door on Ally.

She leaves. Miles opens the door and goes back in his room.
He picks up a bottle and throws it against the wall. It
breaks. He turns to Ally.

She quickly grabs her things while Kyrie's car starts and
drives away. Ally walks out. Miles leans against the wall
and slowly slides down against the wall to sit on the
ground. He puts his hands over his face.

It looks like I'm reading some 001001 computer stuff. This website helps you to format this stuff and you still screw it up. Do you even know what film noir is?

From Abdallah Saleh Date 1/23/2009 0 stars
Sorry, but I believe a zero is necessary for this one. If you just read other people ssreenplays, you'd have a better understanding of the format.

From Jason Morgan Date 1/21/2009 0 stars
I seriously have no idea what I just read. You might want to learn how to write a screenplay before you attempt to actually write one, because you're not gonna anywhere with stuff like this. I have no idea what the story was either, or why this is even being considered as a "film noir". So go do some research into writing screenplays, then come back and touch this up. It needs it.
