MARY KATE and father John exit car and enter observatory

(FATHER JOHN)
"I thought this place would be
harder to get into."

(MARY KATE)
"Me too."

INT. OBSERVATORY - DAY

SUSAN POWERS is busy looking at charts hanging on a lighted
background

(FATHER JOHN)
"Excuse me."

Susan Powers turns around startled

(SUSAN POWERS)
"May I help you two?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Yes, my name is father John, and
this is sister Mary Kate."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"And, how can I help you.?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Do you believe in God?"

(SUSAN POWERS)
"I like to think I do." "Why?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Because I have a message for you
from Him."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Look, I don't have time for
jokes, or twenty questions." "I
have a mystery I'm trying to
solve."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Mystery?" "What kind of
mystery.?"

(SUSAN POWERS)
"It's kind of hard to explain."
"But I suppose if anyone should
know about mysteries, it would be
a priest."

Susan Powers leads father John and MARY KATE to the photos
she has been studying

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Do you see these dark spots
without any stars?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Yes, I see them."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"These pictures were taken last
night from this observatory."
"Those black open spaces, are not
supposed to be there." "There were
stars there before."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Go on."

      (SUSAN POWERS)
"I thought, there might be
something on the lens, but I had
my crew check it out last night."
"the lens was spotless." "It

"I don't think it sounds crazy at
all." "In fact,I have something to
tell you, that just might explain
your situation."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Why not, I'm open to anything
about now."

Father John is seen explaining everything to Susan Powers

(SUSAN POWERS)
"So what you're telling me, is
that the world is in danger of
alien abduction?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Call it what you will, I call
them devils." "Yes, they are in
danger."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"I don't know if I believe you
entirely, but something tells me I
should pay attention to you."

Susan Powers goes to phone and begins dialing

"Hurry, we only have today and
tomorrow."

"Shhh, this is gonna be hard

Father John and Mary Kate simultaneously sigh as if relieved

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Hello, is this the U.S. San Diego
observatory?" "Great, listen, this
is Susan Powers of the Ireland
astronomical society." "I'm in
charge of the observatory here."
"Yes."
"I would like to know, if you have
taken any pictures of a strange
anomally happening in the
heavens." "You have?" "Something
like worm holes?" "Okay, I was
just comfirming my observations.
Thank you very much."

(FATHER JOHN)
"You didn't mention anything about
the devils."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Look, you came to me, remember?"
"What kind of cooperation do you
suppose I'm going to get if I
start shouting aliens or devils?"
"Just trust me, I know what I'm
doing."

(FATHER JOHN)
"I'm sorry, you're right of
course." "So what's the plan?"

(SUSAN POWERS)
"I'm working on one." "Give me
some time."

Father John and Mary Kate sit down on two chairs nearby

(MARY KATE)
"We've gotten this far, so I
suppose there is still hope."

(FATHER JOHN)
"I'm beginning to believe that
too."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Okay, how does this sound to you
two." "Every observatory, views
the night sky from a different
angle." "What one might be able to
see, another might miss entirely."

(FATHER JOHN)
"With you so far."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Suppose, I tell the other
observatories, that I am seeing
something they cannot see, due to
my unique vantage point on the
earth."

(FATHER JOHN)
"So what are we seeing from here?"

(SUSAN POWERS)
"How about meteors, moving at
tremendous velocity?" "They will
strike the earth within two days."

(FATHER JOHN)
"But they'll figure out you're
lying."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Not lying, MISINTERPRETING."

Father John and Susan Powers smile at each other, Mary Kate
gives a somewhat half smile

(FATHER JOHN)
"It just might work." "All we need
to do, is get at least some of the
world's population to stay indoors
on the 21st."

Susan Powers begins to type out a memo which she intends to
send to the U.S. with instructions to alert people of the
world to stay indoors on December 21st

(SUSAN POWERS)
"If anyone had told me two days
ago, that I would be doing this
today..."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Thank you Susan."

Mary Kate rises from her seat and in a somewhat subdued
manner, extends her hand to Susan Powers

SUSAN SHAKES MARY KATE'HAND SMILING

(SUSAN POWERS)
"I'll send this out as top
priority." "Even if this turns out
to be nothing, I can simply say, I
miscalculated the trajectory of
the meteors."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Bless you Susan."

(MARY KATE)
"Yes, bless you Susan."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"I hope this all works out."

EXT. CAR - DAY

Mary Kate is driving

(FATHER JOHN)
"That will at least get the ball
rolling in our direction."

(MARY KATE)
"She was a pretty thing was'nt
she?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Really?" "I hardly noticed."

Father John reaches for Mary kate's hair, and curls it
around her right ear

Mary Kate winces and smiles

INT. RECTORY - DAY

BISHOP MCFEERSON IS PACKING HIS STUFF

(FATHER JOHN)
"What goes on here?"

(MCFEERSON)
"I've been ordered to take a
vacation."

(MARY KATE)
"This is rediculous."

(FATHER JOHN)
"There must be something we can
do."

(MCFEERSON)
"I don't think you can help me,
any more than you'll be able to
help yourselves." "Monsignor has
spoken."

(MARY KATE)
"We need a miracle."

(FATHER JOHN)
"And fast."

(MCFEERSON)
"Yes, it would seem we do need
some help."

Bishop Mcfeerson closes his box of articles and picks it up.
He heads for the door with father John and Mary Kate
following close behind

EXT. LATE AFTERNOON - AT BISHOPS CAR IN LOT - DAY

(FATHER JOHN)
"Listen, bishop, I think we might
have a chance at turning this
thing around for the better."

(MCFEERSON)
"Do tell."

(MARY KATE)
"We found a scientist."

(MCFEERSON)
"Scientist?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Yes, and she seems to have picked
up something with her telescope
which could confirm what I feel
the Lord has revealed to me."

(MARY KATE)
"There is more to the story since
we had the tribunal."

(MCFEERSON)
"Oh Lord, what now?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"It seems there is a precursor, to
the three days of darkness."

(MCFEERSON)
"What type of precursor?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"There appears to be more to
Jesus' words concerning it being
as the days of Noah, than we could
have guessed."

(MCFEERSON)
"How so.?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"In the days of Noah, the sons of
God came down and cohabitated with
the daughters of men." "Jesus was
trying to warn us, that these
devils, would come again and take
others, just before His return."

(MCFEERSON)
"Saints preserve us!"

(MARY KATE)
"There seems to be something to
all of this, the scientist who is
helping us, has detected something
like worm holes, which have
recently opened up in space."

(MCFEERSON)
"Heaven help us!"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Exactly."

INT. OBSERVATORY - NIGHT

(FATHER JOHN)
"Susan Powers!"

Susan Powers appears holding a sandwich

"Father John, I'm glad you're
back." "Sorry about the sandwich,
It's the first thing I've eaten
all day."

(FATHER JOHN)
"I quite understand." "This is
bishop Mcfeerson."

"These clumps of lights." "I think
what you have been telling me, may
be in fact what is going to
transpire."

(MCFEERSON)
"Dear Lord."

(MARY KATE)
"Father John, what shall we do?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Start praying and don't stop
praying until this is over."

The three simultaneously cross themselves

(FATHER JOHN)
"Who else knows about this?"

(SUSAN POWERS)
"No one but us, and of course the
other astronomers looking at the
phenomena."

"Will they still think they are
meteors?"

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Hard to say." "I only planted a
suggestion."

(FATHER JOHN)
"We'll need to assume they still
think this is the case." "Get on
the phone, and contact the U.S.
and instruct them to issue a
general alert to the public."
"Tell them to order all civilians
to stay indoors, tell them Not to
go outside."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"We can only hope the other
astronomers will concur with my
theory."

(MARY KATE)
"And if they don't?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Either way, it's in God's hands
from here."

(MCFEERSON)
"This makes my vacation seem a
triffle unimportant now."

INT. OBSERVATORY - MORNING - DECEMBER 20TH 2012 - DAY

Susan Powers has been up all night and seems frazzled

Mary Kate and Bishop have fallen asleep while in praying
positions

(FATHER JOHN)
"I wasn't sure how you liked it."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Strong."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Good, I left out the cream and
sugar."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"So how long have you known all
this?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"It's hard to explain." "It was
kind of a progressive thing."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"I see."

(FATHER JOHN)
"I wish the Lord had picked
someone else."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"I don't know, you seem to have
things under control."

(FATHER JOHN)
"You think so?"

(SUSAN POWERS)
"He could have done worse."

Susan takes a sip of coffee while keeping eye contact with
father John

"I'd better wake the others."

"Must you, I was rather enjoying
the quiet."

Mary Kate awakens and notices father John and Susan
conversing

Bishop Mcfeerson also awakens

"So much for my quiet time."

Father John walks over to Mary kate and bishop Mcfeerson

(FATHER JOHN)
"Good morning." "I trust you two
slept well."

(MARY KATE)
"Have you been up all night?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Most of it."

(MCFEERSON)
"I should have stayed awake."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Nothing you could have done."
"Your prayers were all we could
have asked for." "If God hasn't
heard you by now, I don't think He
would hear you no matter how long
you stayed awake."

BISHOP MCFEERSON GIVES A SMILE

(MARY KATE)
"So what's the latest?"

"It looks like we're in for a very
bad night." "there must be
thousands of them out there."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Hopefully, the U.S. has done what
we've asked of them."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"I've been so busy looking into
the scope all night, I didn't even
check the fax."

Susan walks over to the fax machine

(SUSAN POWERS)
"This thing is so quiet, I forget
it is even here sometimes."

Susan Powers lifts up some paper work to read

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Looks like they bought the meteor
theory." "Some still are unsure,
but most have subscribed."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Thank God."

(MARY KATE)
"Thank you Jesus!"

(MCFEERSON)
"So what now?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Now, we go back to monsignor."

(MARY KATE)
"What? Why?"

"Do you think that is wise?" "He
did not listen the first time."

"Like it or not, we have no
choice." "He needs to be
informed." "Maybe he can contact
the Pope."

"I hope you know what you're

"I hope so too."

"He's been right so far."

EXT. CAR - DAY

Bishop Mcfeerson is driving

"I want you two to know, that no
matter what happens, I thank you
for all your help."

"I can't say it's been fun, but
I'm here for you."

"Sure, what else can monsignor
do?" "He can't relieve me of my
position while I'm on vacation."

Father John picks up phone and calls MONSIGNOR FLANNAGAN

(FATHER JOHN)
"Monsignor please, tell him it's
father John."

(MCFEERSON)
"Here we go again."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Yes, monsignor, I'm here at the
rectory, with sister Mary Kate and
bishop Mcfeerson." "I really need
to talk to you."

(MARY KATE)
"He's probably anxious to talk to
us also."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Fine, we'll meet you there."

Father John hangs up the phone

(FATHER JOHN)
"He'll meet us at the tribunal
seat."

(MCFEERSON)
"Well, at least he's shy one
person for another tribunal."

"I quite agree monsignor."

(FLANAGAN)
"You, are supposed to be on
vacation!"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Please, monsignor." "If you would
just give me a moment of your
time..."

(FLANAGAN)
"You've taken all the time away
from me you're going to."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Please!" "Listen to me!" "They're
coming!"

EXT. OUTSIDE CHURCH - DAY

"Looks like we're on our own."

(MARY KATE)
"It's not like it's the first
time."

(MCFEERSON)
"I've never seen him so angry."

EXT. CAR - AFTERNOON OF DECEMBER 20TH 2012 - DAY

Father John is driving

"So now what?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Back to the observatory."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"You're back." "Any luck?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"None to speak of."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Maybe this will cheer you up."

Susan Powers turns up radio volume

(ANNOUNCER)
"I repeat, this is a world wide
alert. Stay indoors, if you have a
celler, or basement, take food and
water with you and stay put until
further notice."

(FATHER JOHN)
"It's working. They fell for the
meteor story."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"We make a good team don't we?"

Mary Kate looks bishop Mcfeerson's way

(SUSAN POWERS)
"I mean, all of us."

Mary Kate pauses then smiles

"Of course."

"Monsignor will be pleased and a
little more than embarrased when
this is all over."

A beam of light hits them and they vanish

Men and women running away from giants who are eating people

American soldiers seen battling giants with artillary

INT. OBSERVATORY - NIGHT

(ANNOUNCER)
"It has been confirmed, hundreds
if not thousands of people have
been taken by what appear to be
alien craft." "It does not appear
to be over yet, please stay
indoors!" "Also, the reports of
giants eating people in the
Solomon islands have been
confirmed!" "Please stay indoors!"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Good Lord, help these ignorant
people." "They have no idea what
they're up against."

(MARY KATE)
"It's happening, it's really
happening!"

(MCFEERSON)
"If it hadn't have been for you,
father John, the casualties would
have been much higher."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Don't thank me, thank God."

"I still don't quite understand
this." "Where did these things
come from?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"It's a long story." "Basically,
they lived on the earth before
what scientists call modern man."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"Now I'm really confused." "If
they lived on earth, why are they
coming from space?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"They escaped the world wide flood
which God sent upon the earth just
before He created Adam and Eve."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"So God made a mistake?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"Heaven forbid!" "No, God allowed
them to escape, in order to give
Adam and Eve a choice." "This is
why Satan showed up in the garden
of Eden." "Anyway, these devils
are the remnants of that race."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"So how do we get rid of them?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"We don't, that, is God's job."
"All we can do, is resist the
devil." "God will take care of him
at the end of the 2000th year."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"And when is that?"

"From what I have ascertained, the
year 2033 April 17th." "That is
when Jesus returns." "Our modern
calendar is off by thirty three
years, due to the fact that the
Church started the calendar when
Jesus was born, but should have
started it after He resurrected."
"Too much to explain now, maybe
another time."

(SUSAN POWERS)
"So you have a direct line to talk
to God?"

(FATHER JOHN)
"It doesn't work like that." "God
chooses whom He will, to do what
He desires." "I just happened to
be His choice for this task."

(MCFEERSON)
"It's escalating." "I just heard
reports of giants who are eating
people in the Solomon islands!"

(ANNOUNCER)
"It appears that thousands are now
missing." "Some are calling this
the rapture of the Church." "There
have been reports of suicides from
Bible believing Christians,
because they feel they have missed
the rapture, and don't want to go
through the seven years of
tribulation."

      (FATHER JOHN)
"Dear God!" "If only they had
understood the Scriptures." "They
would have understood that Satan
would pull off the same stunt he
pulled during the days of Noah."
"Jesus tried to tell them." "They
just did not listen correctly."
"He warned them that it would be
just as the days of Noah."

A large crowd jams prescinct demanding answers

(OREILEY)
"Calm down people." "We understand
your concerns for your loved
ones." "We are doing all we can to
find the answers." "Captain
Carnigee, is calling the higher
authorities now."

Crowd hushes as CAPTAIN CARNIGEE enters lobby of building

Carnigee pulls SARGEANT OREILEY aside to speak to him
privately

(CARNIGEE)
"I don't exactly know what to make
of this." "Even many of the higher
ups have vanished."

(OREILEY)
"We have to give them some kind of
an answer." "They've lost family
members."

Captain Carnigee walks towards the waiting crowd

      (CARNIGEE)
"I know you are looking for
answers." "I know I'm supposed to
give you those answers." "But
frankly, I'm just as much at a
loss as you folks are to explain
all this."
"You all know where the town hall
is right?" I suggest you all head
down there right now, and wait
there until I can find the only
man I know of who might be able to
answer some of your questions."
"Some of you know him as father

INT. OBSERVATORY - DECEMBER 22ND - DAY

(FATHER JOHN)
"I think we should go back to the
Church and locate monsignor and
pastor."

(MCFEERSON)
"I think so too." "Now they'll
have to believe us."

(MARY KATE)
"Let's just hope they're safe."

EXT. CHURCH PARKING LOT - DAY

They are looking at Pastor Hailey and Monsignor's cars in
parking lot

(FATHER JOHN)
"They must have wanted to be here
for the people."

INT. CHURCH BUILDING - DAY

(MCFEERSON)
"Did you find them?"

(MARY KATE)
"They're nowhere to be found."

(MCFEERSON)
"Are you thinking what I'm
thinking?"

"Good Lord Jesus, it can't be."

Father John shows up

(FATHER JOHN)
"It looks like we're too late."

Silence occurs as they take in what has happened

(FATHER JOHN)
"This means there will be other
clergy missing as well."

(MARY KATE)
"How could God have let this
happen?"

(MCFEERSON)
"It wasn't God, it was our lack of
study."

(FATHER JOHN)
"He's right Mary Kate, It's not
God's fault that the Church
neglected her duty." "We should
have studied more." "God could
have reached us sooner, if only we
had studied more."

(MCFEERSON)
"No time for regrets now, we need
to help the people."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Yes, the people should be our #1
priority now."

Captain Carnigee and sargeant Oreiley come into church

(CARNIGEE)
"Father John!"

Carnigee hangs his head in shame for a moment

come more often."

"I'll see you in confession." "It
is God you have offended more than
me." "What can I do for you."

(OREILEY)
"I'm afraid we both owe God and
you an apology." "I'll see you in
confession as well father John."
"But right now, there is a crowd
of people at town hall waiting for
answers to all this."

(FATHER JOHN)
"Of course, shall we go?"

INT. TOWN HALL - CROWDED WITH PEOPLE - DAY

Father John leads the way as captain Carnigee and sargeant
Oreiley along with Mary Kate and bishop Mcfeerson enter
building through back entrance

Crowd hushes to listen to them

Father John steps up to microphone

questions." "I realize many of you
have lost loved ones." "The
answers to your questions may not
be to your liking, but they will
be honest answers."

(CARNIGEE)
"I'll bouge for this man's
integrity."

"When Jesus walked the earth
nearly two thousand years ago, He
warned us of this day." "He told
His followers, that His coming
would be exactly as the days of
Noah."
"Unfortunately, what they
understood then, the Church
neglected to keep gaurded as a
major doctrine." "She let this
very important doctrine get lost
somewhere along the way."
"Jesus warned us that the timing
of His return would be just as the
days of Noah." "This should have
been enough to keep the doctrine
alive, but the Church failed the
people."
"In Genesis 6, we are told that
the benoi Elohim, sons of God,
looked upon the daughters of men,
and found them to be beautiful."
