A few bright lights scarce through the parking lot as we
close in on the front of a SMALL LIQUOR STORE. WE SEE A
YOUNG WOMEN IN HER MID TWENTIES observing a bottle of wine.

STEVE, A MAN IN HIS MID TO LATE THIRTIES watches from a
distant.

Vicky looks at a few more bottles before she finally makes
her decision. She grabs the bottle and walks away from the
shelf while reading the description.

As she looks up she is easily startled and finds herself
walking into STEVE.

                       VICKY
Oh.. You scared me.

                       STEVE
What year is that?

VICKY'S mouth begins to move but no words come out. We find
ourselves in dead silence. Images from STEVE'S mind
strangling VICKY comes to play.

                       VICKY
Are you ok? You seem....

                       STEVE
What? No, no I'm fine. It's been a
long day at work. Just came here
to pick up a little something to
relax with. By the way my name is
Steve.

                       VICKY
Vicky, it's nice to meet you.

Vicky walks with STEVE to the checkout and finds herself
giving in by his overwhelming but yet charming presence.

VICKY places the items on the checkout table.

                       VICKY
You live around here?

                       STEVE
Not to far. Just around the corner
actually. Going to try this new
Italian cuisine a friend told me

                       STEVE (cont'd)
about. Maybe you should stop by
for a drink.

The CLERK at the register rings up the total. We see $42.26
on a small screen in front of VICKY.

                       VICKY
Ahh, kinda pressed for time right
now. But, maybe if you....

VICKY reaches out to the CLERK with a credit card in hand.
STEVE SLOWLY reaches out to stop her hand. Both of their
hands touch for a brief second.

VICKY slowly looks into STEVE'S eyes. We find ourselves in a
room. VICKY is tied and gaged. Tears are running down her
face.

                       STEVE
Let me get that for you.

                       VICKY
I can't let you do that.

                       STEVE
Trust me, I instist.

STEVE hands the CLERK a fifty dollar bill. As the CLERK
rings up the receipt a news flash is seen from a TV behind
the CLERK.

The breaking news story speaks of a husband and wife being
brutally murdered.

                       STEVE
      (Starring at the
       TV)
What a world?

VICKY looks away from the TV then towards STEVE.

                       VICKY
Yeah, tell me about it.

The CLERK hands STEVE his change.

                       VICKY (Cont.)
Well, it's very nice to meet you
Steve and I truly can't thank you
enough for paying. But...

3.

                       STEVE
Don't mention it. Let me walk you
to your car.

                       VICKY
I really don't think that's
necessary. I mean, I appreciate
everything it's just... I really
need to get going.

                       STEVE
Here's my business card. Why don't
you give me a call sometime?

VICKY grabs the business card and looks at it. It reads.....

                       VICKY
I will definitely make a note of
that. And thankyou again.

Steve holds his hand up to say goodbye and walks out of the
store. VICKY grabs her bags and walks to the car. On her way
to the car she feels the presence of someone watching her.

Vicky gets in her car and turns the key. We hear the engine
turn as the radio comes on. She slowly backs out of her spot
and starts to roll out of the parking lot.

She stops at the edge of the lot and looks in her rear view
mirror. We see a few scattered park cars. She grabs the
mirror and points it to herself and takes a quick look.

She runs her finger along the sides of her lips to clear up
any lip stick smudges she has and places the mirror back in
it's exact location.

Now we see a car behind her waiting for her to move.

EXT. VICKY'S HOME - NIGHT

The sky is black with the moon only revealing half of it's
true self. A TWO STORY HOME sits on a quite street with only
the kitchen light on.

A car is seen pulling up into the driveway. Vicky pops the
trunk open to grab a few bags from the trunk.

She walks to the front door and struggles for her keys. She
opens the door and walks in.

A dark car slowly pulls up to the front of the home with no
head lights on. We see the car park a few feet away.

This is my last time... I promise,
I can stop.

He looks at himself in the rear view mirror.

                       STEVE
Steve you need this. You want
this. Take what is yours and leave
nothing behind. Nothing, even if
it's her life.

Steve reaches over to the glove box and pops it open. We see
a large blade with a ski mask. He slowly slips the mask on
and grips the blade tightly.

                       STEVE

She won't be the last.

                       VICKY
      (Smiles)
Something smells good? What are
you cooking honey?

We hear a man's voice come from the kitchen.

Vicky comes walking into the kitchen and places the bags on
the table. She grabs a bottle of red wine out of the bag.

5.

                       VICKY (CONT)
Yup, your favorite.

                       CHRIS
Your the best.

He leans in to give her a kiss.

                       CHRIS (CON)
Here, tell me if you like this?

She slowly takes a bit and chews with a smile.

                       VICKY
MMMM... This is much, much better
then the last time.

O, I almost forgot the bread. I'll
be right back.

Vicky walks back to the front door.

EXT. VICKY'S HOUSE - NIGHT

She leaves the front door halfway open and walks to the car.
THE TRUNK IS STILL OPEN as she reaches for the last bag. She
closes the trunk and walks to the front door.

She is quickly stopped by a MAN DRESSED IN BLACK. A SKI MASK
IS COVERING HIS FACE. A SHARP KNIFE IS HELD TO HER THROAT AS
HE GRABS HER BY THE ARM.

                       MASKED MAN
Don't make any sudden moves and I
just might let you live.

Vicky starts to panic. Her body starts to shake as her eyes
water with fear.

                       VICKY
PLEASE, PLEASE... TAKE ANYTHING
YOU WANT. JUST PLEASE DON'T HURT
ME.

                       MASKED MAN
SHUT THE FUCK UP!

The Masked Man pushes the door open and they walk inside.

6.

INT. VICKY'S HOUSE - NIGHT

The Masked Man slowly closes the door behind him with his
foot while keeping the blade to Vicky's throat.

                       MASKED MAN
Just give me your money and
jewelry.

                       VICKY
      (Scared)
I don't have much.

                       MASKED MAN
SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GIVE ME
EVERYTHING YOU HAVE! NO FUNNY
BUSINESS OR YOU CAN KISS YOUR
LITTLE SWEET ASS GOODBYE!

                       VICKY
I.. I.. I have some of my mothers
old pearls and rings. They're up
stairs in.

The Masked Man pushes her forward as she falls to the floor.

                       MASKED MAN
SHOW ME!

Vicky walks towards the stairs and looks in the kitchen. The
pan of meat is missing from the stove. As she continues to
walk up stairs the Masked Man is not far behind.

She reaches the bedroom door and slowly begins to open it.
The Masked Man is becoming impatient and pushes her hard to
the floor as the door opens.

The room is dark as he reaches against the wall for a light
switch.

The light fills the room and the eyes of the Mask Man fill
with fear.

A man and a woman are lying in bed with their throats cut
from ear to ear and a large piece of meat missing from the
woman's leg.

                       MASKED MAN
WHAT THE...

A loud bang is heard from behind the Mask Man as a PAN IS
SMASHED AGAINST THE BACK OF HIS HEAD.

The Masked Man falls to the floor unconscious. The screen
goes black.

come to. We see Vicky and Chris standing before him as the
Masked Man realize he is bound and gaged to a chair.

Vicky looks to Chris.

                       VICKY
I think that was my best
performance yet. I gotta give it
to myself.. I really got into
character on this one. I never
been rob before.

Chris looks towards the uncovered Masked Man.

                       CHRIS
Talk about the wrong place at the
wrong time.

                       VICKY
Wait... Steve?

                       CHRIS
Steve?

                       VICKY
I just met him... At the liquor
store.

CHRIS looks down into his hands as he turns the Masked Man's
knife while a shinny bright light races through the blade.

He quickly grabs the handle of the blade and jolts towards
the Robber. Vicky's reaches out to Chris and stops him by
the shoulder.

                       VICKY
WAIT! WAIT! We could use him.

Chris stops as Vicky slowly grabs the blade from his hand.
She pulls the gag out of the Robbers mouth and walks behind
him.

He can be help us.

                       CHRIS
What? Just like Andrew?

Vicky quickly places her hand on the top of the Robbers
forehead and pulls back. His throat is full expose to the
ceiling as she draws the knife across his neck.

He begins to gasp for air as she smiles with pleasure. She
stands up and watches him slowly pass.

                       VICKY
Your right. I just couldn't let
you have all the fun.

Chris smiles at her and looks towards his watch.

                       CHRIS
It's time.

                       VICKY

The sun is just beginning to rise as the front door opens.
We see Chris and Vicky walk out of the home.

                       CHRIS
Are you ok!

                       VICKY

I like how it had me thinking the robber was going to kill them. But it was a twist, they got him. I didnt like how it wasn't explain what the couple was doing that they already had captive(why were they there)the ending wasn't what I expected but an okay read.
