INT. CHARACTERS - DAY

Masks upon the wall like
decoration in a museum, the glow
from their beauty brightens the
room to its fullest extent. This
was a room of pretend. A room only
fakers and low self-esteemers
wondered into. You could wear as
many masks as you wanted as long
as you believed they were real. It
was a curse, an addiction one
could say, one that many could
never turn away from.

INT. OBSESSOR'S BEDROOM - NIGHT

OBSESSOR IS LYING DOWN LOOKING TOWARDS THE OPEN WINDOW THAT
IS ACROSS FROM HIM.THE LIGHTS ARE DIM WITHIN THE ROOM HE
LAYS IN. HE IS LOOKING ATTHE KINDGOM OF WHICH HE HAS
IMAGINED AND THERE LIVES HIS BELOVED GODDESS TRAPPED BY HER
HUSBAND IN SEARCH OF RESCUE.

was, but a dream of an angel that
came to me with open arms. Yes, an
angel she was one that was to be
mine. I have long for a mate one
that would be my forever
companion. And there was her, a
beautiful Aphrodite one I was to
worship always. My eyes looked to
her for there was no other beauty
in the world I would rather
admire. I was to cradle her, make
love to her tenderly for she was
whom God of the heavens blessed me
with. Such fool I would be to turn
down such an offer.
      (OBSESSOR VANISHES

       AND HUSBAND

Though she was married to another
he was - I mean - is not worthy of
such a prize procession. I am more
of a man, more of a keeper, a
lover to a delicate Goddess such
as her. Call me crazy or a fool if
you must, whatever you wish to
call me, but this feeling; these
thoughts of lust as you may call
them is not lust at all. They are
feelings and thought of true,
passionate, love towards another
man's wife. A wife that one day
shall be mine for I have seen it
in my slumber awaiting morning to
come.

EXT. HUSBAND - NIGHT

LIGHT GO OUT ON OBSESSOR AND COMES UP ON KINGDOM WHERE THE
GODDESS IS SITTING OUTSIDE ON THE BALCONY LOOKING DOWN UPON
THE EARTH. SHE HAS A DISTANCED LOOK ON HER FACE AS THOUGH
SHE IS LONELY AND IN PAIN. THE LIGHT UPON HER BRINGS OUT THE
BEAUTY TO WHICH THE OBSESSOR ADMIRES MORE THEN ANYTHING
ELSE. SHE IS DRESSED IN A BEAUTIFUL SILK NIGHTGOWN, MADE
ESPECIALLY FOR ROYALTY. THE LIGHT STAYS UPON HER AND SLOWLY
THE OBSESSOR IS BROUGHT BACK TO VIEW.

                       OBSESSOR (cont'd)
       BETTER VIEW OF
       HIS LOVE)
Those beautiful light brown eyes
that sparkle in the daylight. Her
voice a melody to which I sing and
dance too. My heart beats to hers
for there is no other and that is
why one day she shall be mine and
mine alone. Her name is unknown to
the world for she is called by
only one name that of which I
myself have given her. Like a God
in heaven changing ones name to
something that is more appropriate
to show the world what was then
and what is now. Yet, this name
shall remain hers for years to
come....Aphrodite: the Goddess of
love, lust, beauty and so much
more.
I can not hide my feelings from
her for I have loved her long
before I knew her name. My heart
yearns for her, that I can not
turn away. I am like a defenseless
mortal upon the earth bowing to my
precious tender Goddess up above.
Wishing for that moment she will
shower me with such love and
compassion that is held deep
inside her heart for me.
      (LIGHT FADE OFF
       THE GODDESS AND
       IS NOW ONLY ON
       OBSESSOR.
       OBSESSOR CRAWLES
       BACK INTO BED.)
I cry to her in the hope that she
can hear me crying her name within
the night.

LIGHT GOES OUT ROOM IS DARK. A VOICE WITHIN THE DARKNESS
SPEAKS OUT.

Come to me!

INT. WOMAN IN OBSESSOR'S BEDROOM - NIGHT

LIGHTS COME BACK UP ON OBSESSOR, YET IT IS ONLY A DREAM
WITHIN HIS HEAD. HE LEAPS OUT OF BED RACES TO THE WOMAN THAT
STANDS BEFORE HIM. SHE SAYS NOTHING, BUT IS COVER WITH
BURSES AND BLOOD. SHE HAS BEEN BEATEN AND BOUND IN CHAINS.
THE CHAINS ARE AROUND BOTH HER WAISTS AND ANKLES.

                       OBSESSOR
      (ANGRY AT WHAT HE
       SEES YET IN AGONY
       FOR HE CANNOT
       HELP HER AS HE
       WISHES. HE BURIES
       HIMSELF WITHIN
       HER BOSOMS AND
       CARESSES HER
       SOFTLY AS TO
       COMFORT)
For this moment alone, I know her
husband must DIE! Though she does
not wish it or say it aloud I can
feel the chains wrapped around her
ankles and wrists. The bruses and
scares that lie upon her luscious
body. I know the hidden pain that
she dares not to mention. For that
I shall ride him of his duty, of
his title "husband".

EXT. WOMAN - NIGHT

LIGHTS DIM AS WOMAN EXITS, THEN LIGHTS SLOWLY COME UP
OBSESSOR'S BACK IN BED.

                       OBSESSOR
      (RISES UP TO HIS
       FEET AS THOUGH A
       THOUGHT HAS
       ENTERED HIS HEAD.
       HE FIGHTS WITH
       HIMSELF AND VOICE)
Yet, how shall one man die by
another man?

                       VOICE
      (WHISPERING TO
       OBSESSOR)
Shall it be by bullet?

5.

                       OBSESSOR
No, for that would be too easy.
Take him around back like an
animal pulling the trigger once
there is a clearance. Delivering
him from his sins without pain or
emotions. No, he must feel the
hurt I feel.

                       VOICE
Shall it be by strangulation?

                       OBSESSOR
No, for that would take to long.
His life would slowly fade though
he would fight with every being
within him to stay alive instead
of allowing the grim reaper to
reap his soul once and for all.

                       VOICE
Shall he be stabbed?

                       OBSESSOR
No, for that would leave a bloody
mess. I could not allow such blood
to be upon my hands. Though the
thought of killing him will be
forever printed on my brain and in
my heart I shall not wash my hands
in the blood I despise more then
anything in the world. For though
he would be dead the red stains
would look to me with a smile.
Laugh in my face for they would be
the symbol of my destruction. My
victory of a man I had to conger
oh, (laughs to himself in aww) how
devilish of me for I have known a
way to ride him with such torment,
such agony. He would beg for mercy
atmy feet and I shall stand and
laugh. My heart will race with joy
and delight and I will have the
woman I have dreamed of for so
long. She will be mine and we will
dance upon the grave of her
beloved, but not missed
husband.Yes, I know just the way
to kill him slowly without any
trace of my treachery. I shall
kill him by POISON. My very own
special creation: A unique
affliction; one that will last

INT. THE SNAKE - NIGHT

SNAKE IS SITTING AT HER DESK WITHIN HER STUDY ROOM WRITING
IN HER JOURNAL. SHE IS THINKING OF ONLY ADONIS AND HOW MUCH
SHE TRULY CARES FOR HIM. SHE IS DRESSED IN LONG COTTON PANTS
AND A SPAGHETTI STRIP SHIRT. THERE IS A SMALL LAMP ON THE
DESK BESIDE HER.

                       THE SNAKE
My sweet, sweet Adonis, my love
for you is more then one could
ever imagine. You are the light
that shines above me brightening
my day in everyway. How I long for
you my heart beats to yours for
there is no other. How can one
deny such a Godly angel that has
been sent to watch over me? My
keeper, my guardian you are the
essence of my life. My soul taken
in by darkness and you my knight,
my warrior enters in and defeated
that which had devoured me. Though
it may be a dream one that is soon
to be my reality my heart knows no
boundaries. My tears cry for you,
come to me and let me caress you
endlessly. Your taste is of sweat
honey I can not get enough. Your
touch chills me my bones shivers
to your voice, my king take me to
your chambers.

       ASSURING HIM OF
       HER LOVE FOR HIM)
She comes and tries to hold him,
but he wants nothing to do with
her for he knows she is worthless
in so many ways. I burn with hate
for her. The thought of her
touching him makes me want to slit
her throat and watch her bleed in
agonizing pain. A smile would
creep across my face because I
have defeated that which has been
my own stepping stone. Blocking my
way to the man God has blessed me
with. How dare she have the option
to live? Death should have taken
her, but since he hasn't I shall
do his job for him. Become the
Goddess Aphrodite standing beside
my beloved lover. Free him from
the chains that holds him bound to
that whore.

INT. MAN IN THE SNAKE'S STUDY ROOM - NIGHT

Lights come back up on The Snake, yet it is only her
imagination. Still she runs to the man who is standing in
her study room and holds him close. She feels his pain and
sees his heartach. She falls to her knees as if to worship
him or in respect like a true servent girl.

No, for the time it would take I
do not have. Seeing the blood that
flows from her body I would enjoy,
but such blood shall not be upon
me. My hands will not be covered
in her filth. No, her pain must be
greater then any pain a man could
feel.

                       VOICE
Shall it be by acid?

                       THE SNAKE
No, for though the thought of her
drinking acid is delightful I
cannot. Even so seeing her fall to
her knees in torment, coughing up
bits and pieces of her inner flesh
and watching as it cooks right in
front of her would bring such joy
to my life. She would look up to
me and with wondering eyes ask me
why? And I would look down to her
like the meaningless peasent she
is and say with a smile of
victory, you have been found
guilty of a treacherous deed
one cannot explain in words.
Although, you may not know the
jury has seen and convicted you
for your words may never hurt that
which is part of me ever again.
After I have spoken she would fall
to her death. Such a beautiful
sight to see and yet, that still
isn't good enough for me. I need
more; I want her to suffer as she
has done unto me. Suffer like
Adonis has suffered for far too
long.

That's it! I know how one shall
die by another and she will never
be the same again. This alone
would end her, burying her into
the depth of hell from which she
came. Her name would be a mystery
to many and unknown to those who
say they once knew her. This type
of death would be a slow agonizing
pain that would drive anyone to
commit suicide. It would be my own
unique devilish way to end ones
life and leave them begging for
mercy. She shall die by poison and
one she is gone I will have my one
and only passionate love all to
myself. Yet, for now behind her
back we shall play a tune so
romantic and sweet she would
search for answers that will never
reveal themselves until she has
been buried six feet under or
until I tell her before delivering
the last blow. Oh, such thoughts
play a touching tune I can dance
to all night long.

it they have a label placed by
others, but with it the label is
worse then before for you have
given yourself that label. These
are not your ordinary masks that
decorate your wall for beauty or
you see in a play or even at
Halloween. These masks are your
everyday masks, this is your play,
and Halloween is just part of the
act. How can I explain this any
clearer then what I am trying to
say? This is not for you to run
and hide for you can not run nor
can you hide from what we all
wear. Yet, how can you tell which
mask is with? When can you look
and say this is who I really am?

A man is missing. A Mr. Marcus
Doe. Witnesses say that they saw
you with him many times. Is there
something you would like to tel

                       OBSESSOR
Yes, we were very close friends.
He was like a brother to me. I
can't believe he is missing, What
happened might I ask?

                       1ST DETECTIVE
We were hoping you could tell us.
There were no signs of file play.
Sorry to have to ask you this but
its part of procedure... Where
were you last night around eight
to about ten?

                       OBSESSOR
Well I went over to his house and
we played a friendly game of
chess. After losing a couple of
time I had decided to give it a
rest.

                       2ND DETECTIVE
What time might that have been?

                       OBSESSOR
Around nine fifteen nine twenty.
It wasn't too late. He was very
well and still living when I left.

Where did you after leaving your

                       OBSESSOR
I went stright home and been here
all night.

                       1ST DETECTIVE
Did anyone see you?

Obsessor gets up and walks towards phone

                       OBSESSOR
well...yes, my wife. She was here
with me. She is not here at the
moment but she will be back soon.
I can call her if you like and
tell her to come home.

OBSESSOR TURNS AWAY FROM THE OFFICERS AND FACES THE PHONE.
HE STRUGGLES TO PICK IT UP, BUT IN THE END DOES AND HOLDS IT
TO HIS EARS. A VOICE SPEAKS TO HIM THROUGH THE PHONE.

INT. VOICE - DAY

                       VOICE
Have you gone mad?

                       OBSESSOR
Indeed, I have for love will drive
any man insane

                       VOICE
Does she love you?

                       OBSESSOR
More then you will ever know

                       VOICE
Let not your heart blind you, for
she belongs to that of which you
call friend.

18.

                       OBSESSOR
Associates! He is no friend of
mine only an enemy that will soon
be in the devils castle. Still, my
heart has not blinded me for she
has called out to me many nights.
I have felt her warmth against my
flesh for far too long. She has
came to be in time of parallel.
How could I deny her call her
touch? How can I pretend she does
not want me when I alone want her?
He is nothing to her and shall
remain a distance dream.

                       VOICE
Then go to her

                       OBSESSOR
I will... I mean I have

                       VOICE
What do you mean you have?

SILENCE FILLS THE ROOM. OBSESSOR IS LOST FOR WORDS AND
THOUGHT. HIS MIND BEGINS TO RACE AND HE CAN'T SEEM TO CATCH
UP WITH IT. THE OFFICERS LOOK AT HIM IN CONFUSION. THEY
PONDER WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE GOING ON.

                       VOICE
What do you mean you have?!

                       OBSESSOR
I killed the bastard. That's right
I said it. I killed him. Buried
him in a place no one would ever
find him or dare to look. He's not
in the walls or under the floor
boards like Edgar Allen Poe, no he
is somewhere else. Don't worry he
isn't behind the house or down the
street. Nor is he in an open field
just waiting for the buzzards to
come and devour him. No, I'm
sorry, but no bird or any animal
shall feast on such slop.

I must say he didn't hurt
much. Just a little, I had to make
him squeal. The thought of me
reavealing his secret shocked him
the most. You should have seen
him; it was so delightful to see
his eyes when I told hime I knew.

19.

                       OBSESSOR (cont'd)
Oh, yes I knew his darkest
secrets. Especially the one he
tried so hard to keep fromme. The
one with him betraying me, such a
fool he was pretending everything
was okay when deep inside nothing
was okay. He was creeping behind
my back with the woman I have
loved for far too long. The woman
I have loved with every being of
my heart. I would give her the
world if she wanted it, but she
didn't. No, she wanted to be with
him and that was a big no, no. She
had killed me many times before,
but this affection that they
shared took my soul straight to
hell. I was in torment. Abandoned
by love I had to end the darkness
that shadowed me, but of course
you want to know how I came up
with such a plan. I can't give
myself all the credit; to be
honest I don't know how I came up
with such a marvalous idea. All I
know is that one minute my brother
was here in this room and the next
he was six feet under. Still I
know your wondering exactly what
happened and that I shall tell
you.

                       VOICE
Explain yourself...

                       OBSESSOR
It was a beautiful sunny day. The
sky was filled with white fluffy
clouds and the sun beamed tenderly
upon the ground. It was the
perfect day for a murder. I sat
there in the chair staring out of
the window into the sky above.
Watching as the clouds moved,
forming images one could adore. It
was truly beautiful. I peered over
into the garden that lay below my
window. The radiant colors that
emerged from the ground decorated
the place quite nicely. I give all
credit of that to my wife. The
beauty of an angel she was. I
imagined her there sitting amongst

the lilies and the sunflowers, her
favorite might I add. With a smile
upon her face for this was her
second home and my heart was her
first. A garden we once started
together became her secret place
of comfort and meditation. She had
it all, the house, the garden, the
money, and my heart. Yet, that
seem not to have been enough.

She had claimed my soul the
first day we met. That being the
day I shall never forget. We
danced under the night skies. The
moon was full and bright, the
stars sparkled within the night.
It was magical one could say, but
her smile was the brightest of
everything around me. Her long
silk black hair dancing in the
wind, her soft dark skin pressed
close to mine. As we held each
other close all I could think
about was a deep passionate love a
man like me could have for such a
wonderful woman like her. She was
my queen and I was destined to be
her king. Her beauty raced through
my head for I could not stop
replaying the images or rewind or
fastward. She was taken from me
and there was nothing I could do
about it. Poisoned! Not by my
hands, no by the man who claimed
to be my friend. A brother I
should say. He who is now a
rusting corpse you're so destined
to find.
      (LIGHTS BEGIN TO

There was a knock at my door this
particular day. I turned to see
the door knob turn ever so
slightly then open with a jerk.
There in the door way stood my
brother. Handsome and deadly, not
realizing the reaper had called
him to reap his soul for keepings.

                       OBSESSOR
Hello

                       THE GOD
Are you ready to play. I shall
beat you this time my friend.

                       OBSESSOR
Oh, I believe it is I who shall
win.

LIGHTS DIM AND COMES UP ON OBSESSOR STILL ON PHONE TALKING

                       OBSESSOR
As we played every evil thought
entered my mind in destroying him.
The hell he had put me through,
the love he had stolen from me.
Everything that was once precious
was destroyed and now it was his
turn to be tormented by my
revenge. The game seemed to be
going on for hours as though there
was no ending to it. Finally, my
brother got up to pour us some
drinks. He handed me mine and took
his place back on the opposit side
of me. I took a sip of my drink
and he gulped his. I smiled an
evil smile and so did he, but his
smile quickly turned to pain and
agony. He was in shock for h is
body was responding the way I was
hoping it would....painfully.

                       OBSESSOR
Easy my friend, you see you gulped
your drink sending the posion I
put in the wine bottle to race
through your system. I sipped my
drink causeing little to no posion
you have placed within my drink
including my own to affect me.

                       THE GOD
You...bastard...but why? How?

You slept with my wife then
killed her when she called it off.
Now you want me dead so that you
can inherit my goods.

                       THE GOD
You...you...lie, she was mine, my
love...my sweet Goddess you stole
with trickery.

                       OBSESSOR
She was once yours, but mine all
the more. My love for her was
pure, honest and tranquility. I
loved her more then you could ever
imagined.

                       THE GOD
You bastered you killed her in
dislike of my love for her in your
obsession for that you could not
have.

                       OBSESSOR
Not I, but you for this my friend

EXT. GOD - DAY

LIGHT COME UP ON OBSESSOR STILL ON PHONE TALKING WHILE IN
FRONT OF THE OFFICERS

                       OBSESSOR
You see I have befriended him to a
point he begin to trust me. Took
me in as his brother and declared
me his right hand man. He knew
nothing more then I was to be his
true and royal servant. He
entrusted me with his own personal
difficulties. That of which was
from my love and my anger begin to
grown to every mean, hateful
comment spoken. I did not slash at
him with my sword instead as he
confided in me I poisoned him with
my venom. A cobra you could call
me, I was and am the deadliest
snake alive. However, to every
talk we had I poisoned him more
and more until he drove his self
insane. My venom was too much for
him. He saw me as a friend and I
saw him as a hole in the ground
needing to be covered up. For a
moment I felt sorry for him,
seeing him going mad, his
ignorance begins to sadden me over
the thought that his wife and I
was together. Though we were, I
continued on until he himself took
his own life by poison that was
left by his bedside. I can say if
I left them there or not, but I
can say he went peacefully and I
gained my one true prize.

                       1ST DETECTIVE
Then she is here…where is she?

                       OBSESSOR
Within her chambers of which I
made for her sleeping like the
Goddess she is.

                       2ND DETECTIVE
Sleeping…?

24.

                       OBSESSOR
Yes, sleeping. Peacefully, I did
not want to disturb her-

INT. THE SNAKE AND VOICE - DAY

OBSESSOR PAUSES HE HEARS THE DOOR OPEN AND ENTERS THE SNAKE
COMING TOWARDS WHERE HIM AND THE DETECTIVES TALKING. TO HER
SHE IS TALKING TO A FRIEND BUT TO EVERYONE ELSE SHE IS
TALKING TO HERSELF.

                       VOICE
You have gone insane haven't you?

                       THE SNAKE
Call me insane if you wish, but I
am not. Insanity is just an
associate to my sanity it has no
hold on me. Love is the only key
element to this situation.

                       VOICE
You've put your heart on the line
for a man who knows nothing of
you. How can one say she is in
love when the one they love have
no idea of their existence?

                       THE SNAKE
He loves me more then one can
think. More then you could ever
imagine. He is my prince, my king,
my God. I am but a mere mortal
here awaiting his presence. His
kingdom door to open and he
pronounces me as his new found
wife. Who is she to say different.
He loves me and this I know. You
could only dream of such a love
that has inspired me to perform a
crime so horrific I can not come
to grasp with it myself.

                       VOICE
How will you present your self to
her? Do you think she will allow
you to walk in undetected? She
would question your existence. You
will not be able to fool her for
she loves him as much as you. Can
you honestly say he loves you when
he holds another?

25.

                       THE SNAKE
You know nothing like I know. You
see not what I see and I can
assure you his arms around her is
only a illusion. He despises her
more then I do and pray for the
strength to kill her right in his
arms. I know my love needs me and
I know his heart. It is true it
sings to me and I hear it and sing
back. We were meant and I will
prove that, but to answer your
question I will befriend her as a
tiger befriends its trainer. They
would play with them, listen to
them, and laugh with them until
one day striking them down killing
them insistently.

                       VOICE
You have conjured up a plan one
would have never imagined. I
applaud you gracefully.

                       THE SNAKE
Thank you, my heart knows what is
best to contain what is mine.
Though, I can say I am quite sorry
for her in more ways then one.

                       VOICE
Oh, how so?

                       THE SNAKE
I have come into her home and
befriended her more then any woman
could befriend another woman. She
called me her sister and I called
her mine. We were inseparable, she
adored me and I vomited at the
thought of her hugging me. She
confined in me her deepest
secrets. I knew she felt as though
Adonis was with another how true
that was. She cried to me how she
loved and adored him. Needed only
him and would do whatever to
please him. My deed for him was
much greater then hers. I knew she
loved him even so my love over
powered her. She was ill bound. My
venom consumed her and I sat by
her side and watch as her life
slowly faded away. The sickness

that raced through her they called

My very own ingredient to take
such an affect one suffers and

yet, my hands never actually
committing such a disgraceful
crime.

                       VOICE
Where is he that you have claimed
to love for all eternity?

                       THE SNAKE
Here with me as he always been.
Within his chambers of which I
made for him sleeping like the God
he is.

                       VOICE
Sleeping…?

                       THE SNAKE
Yes, sleeping. Peacefully, I did
not want to disturb him-

                       OBSESSOR (The Snake)
the dead doesn't like to be
disturbed.

VOICE (1st Detective and 2nd Detective)
You mean…?

                       OBSESSOR (The Snake)
      (FACING EACH OTHER)
Poison kills in many ways…..
