FADE IN:

INT. ROOMY COCKPIT - DAY
                                                            
The cockpit looks similar to a living room. LIEUTENANT and
CAPTAIN sit on individual love-seats, facing a flatscreen
television set. The Lieutenant also holds a controller that
looks similar to a gamer's joystick. Between the crew and
the flatscreen, a COUCH is positioned with the seating
facing perpendicular to the line of sight, between the crew
and the flatscreen.
                                                            
                       CAPTAIN
Lieutenant, adjust course to 5.116
mark 3.
                                                            
                       LIEUTENANT
Yes Sir. AFW Furniture will make
the Mars Outpost so much more
functional.
                                                            
Lieutenant MeVin move her gamer's joystick.
                                                            
                       LIEUTENANT
      (Affectionately)
Bernard...
                                                            
                       CAPTAIN
      (Stern)
Lieutenant...
                                                            
                       LIEUTENANT
      (Precaution)
...Captain, we just passed Eureka.
                                                            
                       COUCH (OS)
Eureka is Mars-Sun L5 point.
                                                            
                       CAPTAIN
      (Confused)
Did you say that Jersel?
                                                            
                       CAPTAIN
      (Shocked)
No... sir.
                                                            
 
EXT. SPACESHIP - CONTINUOUS
                                                            
Spaceship, looks similar to a shipping truck without wheels
and the side of the ship says "AFW: Furniture Delivery
Anyway."
                                                            

2.

Spaceship turns and hears toward Mars, aiming toward a
visible flashing light. The flashing light, is the beacon
marking the location of the Mars Outpost.
                                                            
 
INT. ROOMY COCKPIT - DAY
                                                            
                       COUCH
The break room in the Science
Division-D will enjoy the Clarke
Chocolate L-Sections
                                                            
                                         CUT TO:

                       LIEUTENANT
      (Disbelief)
The couch talked.
                                                            
                       CAPTAIN
      (Disbelief)
Right?
                                                            
The Lieutenant stands up and reaches for protection,
grabbing the Captain's arm and shoulder. The Captain, still
in disbelief over the couch talking, turns his head in
surprise at Lieutenant McVin's technique for grabbing his
arm.

Lol WHAT? What the hell is this? This has to be one of the weirdest "scripts" I have found...I could only imagine this as a commercial. o . O

Half a star for formatting properly but....what the heck is this? A commercial for a furniture store?....okay. I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say that when people think of plopping down on their couch or getting a new desk they don't think of weird futuristic space settings....but good luck.
