CLONED TIGER

FADE IN:

EXT. JUNGLE - DAY

SUPERIMPOSE : AFRICA - SENEGAL

Sun high in the sky. A beautiful jungle. A few tents and a
group of people with cameras and safari equipments. Some
look like hunters but the rest look like scientists.

A young man comes out of a tent. Early twenties. Tall and
handsome but his glasses tell you that he is a science
student. This is EVAN.

                       EVAN
Has any one seen Jane?

                       HUNTER
Don't tell me she went discovering
alone again...

                       EVAN
Hope not!

                       HUNTER
She almost got herself killed last
time...

EXT. ANOTHER PART OF JUNGLE - SAME TIME - DAY

A swamp full of alligators. We see the reflection of a tree
branch protruding from the tree next to the swamp. The
branch is about 15 feet high. Over the branch is Jane. An
old professor holding a camera.

Jane taking a few shots.

CRACK - BRANCH SNAPS

                       JANE
Ahhh...

SPLASH!!! Jane and the branch in the swamp with the
ALLIGATORS. Jane struggling in the swamp trying to maintain
balance and swim. TEETH in-front of her eyes. She draws out
her dagger and jabs it at the teeth of the beast. The
alligator bites the dagger, Jane loses it.

2.

More alligators gather around her... Waist bite... Blood...
Jane Screams... Life is almost over... Jane is between the
JAWS of one of the alligators...

HUGE WHITE BEAST

Jumps in the swamp like a torpedo. Attacking the alligators,
biting like a vampire thirsty for blood. It's a wild huge
white tiger. He stabs an alligator in the eyes with his
razor sharp claws and bites off the head of the alligator
holding Jane in its jaws. BRUTAL BLOODY BATTLE... Tiger and
alligators are exchanging bites...

Alligator biting the tiger from the right side, the tiger
responds by slashing the alligator's eye, tearing it apart.
Turning around to hammer another over the head with heavy
strong paws, like sledge hammers. Fast and rapid blows,
slashes and bites from the tiger at the alligators. The
alligators are biting back but the Tiger has the upper hand.

Jane is stunned... Still bleeding... Trying to swim away to
get out but can't. Fainting... Blacks out.

EXT. JUNGLE- BUSHES - DAY

Jane is lying on the ground on her back. Her eyes are shut.
Thick bushes and trees surround the area.

Jane starts opening her eyes.

Jane's pov: The sun is so bright in her eyes. She turns her
head to see the tiger licking her as if he was her pet. The
tiger is white and huge, much bigger than any other tiger or
lion. His eyes are red. His claws are so bright. He looks
like an elegant prince warrior. He has too much fur as if he
came from Alaska.

                       JANE
Oh! Dear Lord. Who are you?!
      (trying to get up)
Ouch! Ah!!!

The tiger places his head under her arm to help her up. He
even gets below her to make her sit on his back.

EXT. JUNGLE - DAY

Evan and some hunters plus a few others are searching for
Jane. They are calling out her name. Jane comes in the frame
RIDDING THE TIGER as if it's a horse. The group is stunned
at the sight.

                       JANE
Hey every body! I am okay! Got a
flesh wound but was able to stop
the bleeding.
      (leaning on
       tiger's head)
This boy saved my life. He is very
friendly...

The hunters aim their rifles at the tiger.

                       JANE
STOP IT!

                       EVAN
Hey, she is over it. You could
kill her.

                       HUNTER
What the hell do you think
yourself doing, professor?

The tiger stares eagerly at the hunters but stays put.

                       JANE
This tiger saved my life. I fell
in the alligator's swamp and he
fought them to defend me. HE SAVED
ME.
      (pointing at the
       rifles)
Now stop aiming at us.

                       HUNTER
      (lowering his
       rifle)
Alright professor. It will be your
funeral not mine.
      (to his men)
Stop aiming at them.

Jane pats the head of the tiger. The tiger lifts his head up
and turns it to Jane expressing gratitude.

VOOM...

4.

As the tiger's eyes look at Jane's face. A dart hits the
tiger in the neck. Tiger moans. Tiger's pov: The hunter is
holding darts pistol in his left hand, arm still stretched
and aimed at the tiger.

                       JANE
How dare you?! How dare you do
this?! I told you that...

                       HUNTER
      (interrupting her
       words)
It's a sedating dart. You want to
keep him...fine but I won't
jeopardize our lives for it.

Tiger still on its feet. The hunter can't believe his eyes.
He reloads the darts pistol. Tiger starts going down...

                       JANE
That's enough...he is falling...

                       HUNTER
Doesn't look enough for me...

                       EVAN
      (moves to be in
       front of hunter)
Don't you shoot again while Prof.
is still on its back.

                       HUNTER
Tell her to get off it then
because I WILL SHOOT AGAIN.

                       JANE
He is down Tarazan.

The hunter walks past Evan, takes a closer look at the
tiger. The tiger is lying down, eyes shut and looks asleep.
Jane is on her feet and the tiger is lying between her legs.

                       HUNTER
One more won't harm it.

                       JANE
I understand your job
responsibilities but if you shoot
one more I will make sure you
never accompany any other
scientific discovery group again.
I need to have my wound sown and
you are wasting my time while I am

                       JANE
Tell the governor. It will be your
word against mine.

                       HUNTER
      (grinning)
Are you threatening me?!

                       JANE
Threatening your license only.
      (to the others)
Now please get the wheeled cage
and put the tiger in it.

The tiger opens one of his eyes a little without letting any
one notice. He looks around, watches the hunters carefully.
As Jane turns her head to him, he quickly shuts his eye

but I am sure that he can't talk.

                       JANE

Strange equipments. A big glass window. Behind it there is
green water. In the water there are strange looking
creatures wrapped in webs and a tube is connected to each
one of them.

Looking at the creatures is the same old man who dropped his
glass of water, when he saw the Tiger on his T.V. But here
he is younger and looks like a scientist. Dressed in a white
coat. Hospital costume. This is professor MAC. There are
other in the room dressed like him. They are busy, working
on keyboards and watching analysis on the monitors.

                       DR. HENRY (O.S.)
You think they will make it this
time?!

What about these?!

                       PROFESSOR MAC.
They are weak and not smart
enough, unlike my tiger. He has
human genes. He will be the first
generation of the super creature I
dream of.

8.

                       DR. HENRY
You still think you can make an
assassin of your own?!

                       PROFESSOR MAC.
My tiger is only the start. Later
on I will be able to develop my
cloning methods and I will provide
our agency with a pet cat with
human brain that will be the most
dangerous assassin and spy the
world ever seen.

                       DR. HENRY
I believe that your tiger is so
big in size to be considered a
pet.

                       PROFESSOR MAC.
The tiger is a step its genes fit
more with the human genes I have.
But with more research I will be
able to develop everything to
satisfy my own needs.

                       DR. HENRY
Well be careful. Your tiger looks
really vicious.

like...

                                         DISSOLVE INTO:

INT. VILLA - HALL - NIGHT

Jane walks to the door and opens it. It's Dr. Mac, the one
who had the memories about the lab where the tiger escaped
from. He just stands there in a dark suit, looking over his
shoulders.

                       JANE
Professor Mac...

                       PROFESSOR MAC.
You don't have to mention my name
so loudly.

                       JANE
      (laughs)
Please come in.

                                         CUT TO:

INT. VILLA - SALON ROOM - NIGHT

Big room with French furniture. The room's door and windows
are closed. Jane and the professor are sitting in armchairs,
drinking tea and talking.

                       JANE
...I am sorry. I just don't buy
the cloning lab story...

14.

                       PROFESSOR MAC.
      (harsh voice tone)
Dr. Jane! This tiger is a killing
machine.

                       JANE
So... you want to take my tiger
away.

                       PROFESSOR MAC.
This is...

                       JANE
      (cuts him off)
Is it the money?! It must be the
money. Now that my tiger made
forty millions in a couple of
months, everybody wants a piece of
it.
      (Looks at him with
       disgust)
Even a great scientist like you...

The professor pulls up his trousers left leg to reveal
terrible ugly scars on his leg.

                       JANE
      (stunned)
Oh! God...

                       PROFESSOR MAC.
I believe in a lab with the right
equipments, we can match those
scars to your pet's claws.
      (Pause)
Why are you silent now? Did your
big cat eat your tongue?!!!

                       JANE
      (tries to sound
       calm)
Not really. So...he gave you
scars. He is a tiger after all.
Still doesn't prove he was cloned
in some lab, which you have no
evidence that it even exists.

                       PROFESSOR MAC.
The lab was destroyed. There are
no records for it because it was a
secret lab.

Jane looks satisfied.

15.

                       PROFESSOR MAC.
However, if you check his
brain...if gene experts made
analysis...
      (Pause; stares in
       Jane's eyes)
The result will prove that his
brain was cloned with human genes.

As the professor finishes his sentence;
LOUD ROAR O.S. from outside the salon room.

The professor - terrified to death, he drops his tea cup on
the tiled floor. It gets broken.

Jane looks at the salon door.which is still closed.

                       JANE
Take it easy professor. I think he
is behind the door. I'll go calm
him down.

The professor doesn't respond. He is stupefied.

Jane walks towards the door. Professor in background draws
out a .44 magnum pistol from under his jacket. The gun is
big and heavy for his hands, that are shaking with fear.

Jane reaches the door and opens it. The open door reveals
the hall, but no tiger. Jane turns around to the professor.

                       JANE
He must be back to his room.
      (Notices the gun
       in his hand)
You don't need that. He is
harmless.

The TIGER like a thunder bolt, blasts into the salon by
smashing through one of the windows.

The Tiger lands over the professor, taking him down to the
floor and crushing him under its heavy body. The gun slides
on the smooth tiled floor, a few feet away. The professor's
body is stretched on the floor with the Tiger all over it.
The Tiger stares the professor dead in the eye.

                       JANE
      (screaming)
NOOO!!!TIGER...NOOO...

16.

Jane runs at them and tries to pull the tiger off the
professor. No use. The Tiger opens his jaws wide, his
gigantic sharp teeth sparkle.

The professor is in severe pain mixed with fear from hell,
that he doesn't make any sound.

Professor's neck is between the Tiger's jaws now, about to
get crushed. The Tiger takes his time with it, enjoying the
moment.

LOUD GUN SHOT!!!

Jane stands there with the .44 magnum gun in her hand, still
smoking. The Tiger stares at her.

                       JANE
      (petrified)
This was a warning shot... You
know what I mean. The next one...

BLOOD SPLATTERS...

The Tiger cuts her sentence off by shredding the professor's
neck with one bite, severing his head from his body. Blood
splatters on the floor and the Tiger's face.

Jane instinctively squeezes the trigger once. BANG!

The Tiger's torso bleeds from the left side. The Tiger looks
at Jane, can't believe she shot him . Jane and the Tiger
lock eyes for a moment. The Tiger shakes his head "NO" and
starts moving towards Jane.

                       JANE
      (tears in her eyes)
Please!!! Stop...

The Tiger moves faster and roars loudly with anger at Jane
as if she was a prey and he is launching an attack on it.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! Jane unloads the gun at the Tiger.
Some bullets hit him and some miss him.

The Tiger is down and bleeding. Jane drops the gun, then she
drops to her knees. Closes her eyes for a moment.
