FADE IN:

EXT. EMPTY DARK MUDDY ROAD - NIGHT

Man's face sweating blood, bruised and cut to the extreme -
Breathing hard, running for his life.

                       RUNNING MAN
      (Faint voice)
Oh! God... Oh! God help me
please!!!

No use, legs can't keep it up. Slips -- falls to his knees.

On his knees -- looks back over his shoulders.

                       RUNNING MAN
Shiiiit!

Behind him, a huge dark body leaps in the air -- open mouth,
big shiny teeth -- like missile locked to a target, the
teeth thrust the man's neck, crushing the neck instantly.

Man's EYES DEAD even before his upper torso hits the ground
with a huge Rotweiller on top of it.

The beast dog doesn't let go of the crushed neck. Dog is
motionless like it's pausing for a picture.

A beat passes - Silence...

Whistle heard in the distance. Dog lets go of the neck,
turns around and walks away... The whole ugly thing seems
like a daily routine for the DOG.

                                         DISSOLVE TO:

INT. COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE - DAY

Small office. There is only one man. Young deputy sheriff
sitting alone behind a desk. Reading the newspaper. Eyes
open wide.

INSERT NEWSPAPER --

Picture of the corpse of the man who was killed by the dog.
Picture is so bloody that it's tough to look at. Under the
picture in capital bold letters: THE BEAST IS BACK.

Back to normal scene.

2.

                       DEPUTY
      (Reading)
...it happened in the seventies,
the eighties and the nineties then
it stopped for over a decade. Now
it's back...
      (stops reading)
Glad it's not in my town...

A man with bloodied face BOLTS in through the door and falls
on the ground. Flat on his bleeding face.

                       DEPUTY
      (alarmed)
Oh! Fuck...

Deputy tosses the newspaper, gets up and rushes to aid the
man.

                       DEPUTY
      (kneels down)
What happened to you?!!!

Helps the man up. Man's face is in a mess. Man is struggling
to stand up. Deputy pulls a chair and seats the man on it.

                       DEPUTY
Don't worry, I'll call a doctor...

                       BLEEDING MAN
      (Faint voice)
It's a beast, out there... On the
street...

                       DEPUTY
Where?

Bleeding man points to the window.

The deputy moves to the window with his hand on the pistol
in his waist band. Looks through the window.

Deputy's POV : Street is empty.

BACK TO NORMAL SCENE.

                       DEPUTY
There is nothing outside. I'll
call the doctor.

Bleeding man is too tired to argue but shakes his head NO.

The deputy holds the phone starts punching a number --

3.

DOG BLASTS IN --

through the window -- smashing its glass into pieces and
LANDING on the deputy. Deputy is down with the dog over him.
Deputy is screaming but fighting the dog, trying to get it
off him.

Bleeding man spots a shotgun on the wall. Grabs it and cocks
it --

as the deputy delivers a perfect punch to the dog's head
dropping it on the floor. Draws his pistol out of his waist
band and --

BANG!

Deputy's pistol falls from his hand.

Bleeding man holds the smoking shotgun. Whistles and the dog
is up, next to the sheriff's bleeding chest. The bleeding
man leans down at the dying deputy, snatches the deputy's
star - which is covered with blood - from his shirt. Puts
the shotgun into the deputy's mouth and fires one more,
blasting the deputy's head.

Inhales at the blood smell. Stands straight up, stretching
his body. Pats on the dog's back, then he and the dog walk
together. On their way out with their backs turned to us.
The bleeding man removes the bleeding skin off his face and
peels off some skin off his hands too and puts all the skin
in his pockets.

                                         CUT TO:

INT. COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE - AFTERNOON

The sheriff is there with two more deputies, the forensics
team checking the deputy's corpse and bagging it. Two
detectives in suits, one around fifty five years old with
sharp eyes. This is Detective REDFORD, the other is young
and can't stand the scene of the dead deputy with busted
scull, that is Detective MIKE. They've been all there for
quite some time, talking.

                       SHERRIF
      (Emotionally
       drained)
...so it's been going on for
DECADES and you couldn't do a damn
thing about it...

4.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
      (Calm)
That serial killer strikes every
five to ten years. Which means
that he spends half a decade or a
full decade of planning and
training.

                       DEPUTY#1
      (Enraged)
We don't give a shit about his
planning... We will find him and
bury him alive...

                       SHERRIF
Amen to that son.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
I believe we can all do a better
job if we cooperate together.

The sheriff and his deputies consider it for a while.

                       DEPUTY#2
      (To detective

Tell us more about it...

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
...disappears and goes to start
the killing frenzy and when done
moves to the new preplanned,
preprepared residence.

                       SHERRIF
Oh! God!

                       DEPUTY#1
But why?!

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
Most serial killers had rough
childhoods, rape, torture... Who
knows what ignited each serial
killer?! Do you ?!

                       DEPUTY#1
But that one quits and comes back
to it.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
They never QUIT. Never... It's
like being thirsty. You drink
enough water then you stop for a
while till you are thirsty again.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
So what type of victim is next
according to that one's pattern?

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
Well the rich was killed
yesterday, today defied power.
Killed a deputy. Two more killings
to go. The happy and the
religious. We need to send
warnings to all churches.

                       SHERRIF
Churches in our town are...

7.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
      (cuts him off)
All churches of our nation should
be warned. The son of a bitch
travels a lot. His next
destination could be five hundred
miles in any direction.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
So we need warnings in all of the
U.S.A. !!!

                       SHERRIF
What about the happy people? Will
you send warnings happy people
too?

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
The happy people... Should be
happy, young and good looking.

                                         DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. FOREST - THICK BUSHES AND TREES - NIGHT

White camping tent. Fire, food, beverages and two guitars
are on the ground. Two slim 18 year old boys are seated by
the fire. SEAN and RICKY. Dressed in black leather. Good
looking, happy and proud.

                       RICKY
...should have let the girls
come...

                       SEAN
I need a damn break, okay...

                       RICKY
I miss them... They're cool. I
don't know what's your issue with
them?!

                       SEAN
My issue... You want to know what
my bloody issue is... It's Donna.
She is the issue. She acts like I
am supposed to marry her or
something.

                       RICKY
You were the one who brought them
in, in the first place.

8.

                       SEAN
To dance. We sing. They dance.
Donna is too stupid to understand
that... Can't deny she is hot
though. I slept with her a couple
of times but I didn't make any
promises.

                       RICKY
I still wish if the girls were
here. I mean look at us. A couple
of guys in the jungle...Without a
single babe...

LARGE STANDING FIGURE

on their left, a couple of meters away, in the bushes and
holding a flash light. Unclear shape in the dark.

                       SEAN
      (re; unclear
       figure)
Oh shit!

                       RICKY
      (scared)
Who is there?!

The unclear figure comes closer. It's an old lady wearing a
dress and a coat.

                       OLD LADY
Excuse me, I think I have lost my
way... I don't mean to intrude on
your privacy.

                       SEAN
What do you want?!!!

The old lady looks stunned at Sean's rude behavior.

                       RICKY
You'll have to excuse my friend
here. He donated his brains long
time ago. How may I help you
ma'am?

                       OLD LADY
My car broke down then I saw your
fire so I thought you could give
me some directions.

9.

                       RICKY
Don't worry ma'am we would be
happy to give you a lift. Our car
is over there.

                       SEAN
Maybe all what your car needs is a
battery charge.

                       OLD LADY
You are right. May I just sit down
for a minute and then we go try
it.
      (sits next to
       Ricky)
I just need to rest my legs.

                       RICKY
Sure... Let me fix you a warm
drink.

Ricky pours her some tea. Gently, hands her over the cup of
tea.

                       OLD LADY
      (warmly)
Thank you. You are so kind.

                       RICKY
      (smiles)
Don't mention it. By the way, I am
Ricky and this creature is Sean.

                       OLD LADY
Nice to meet you Ricky.

SEAN looks at them with disgust.

                       SEAN
Wish granted.

                       OLD LADY
I beg your pardon.

                       SEAN
Ricky was dying for a date
tonight.

                       OLD LADY
      (laughs)
Well! I guess one should be
careful what one wishes for.

10.

                       SEAN
      (laughs loudly)
Yeah! This time it's a grandma...
      (laughs
       hysterically)
Who knows who it's gonna be next
time...

Ricky and the old lady don't like Sean's joke.

                       OLD LADY
Yeah! Could even be Sean's mom!

Sean stops laughing, pissed off. Ricky can't help it, he
just laughs.

                       SEAN
Alright granny, you turned the
table on me.

                       OLD LADY
Not quite yet.

                       RICKY
What do you mean?!

BOLTS out of the bushes. The DOG is all over SEAN. Bitting
and scratching him.

                       RICKY
      (stunned)
God!!!

The old lady is perfectly calm.

Ricky quickly gets a s swiss-knife out of his jacket pocket
and charges at the dog's back. Raises his hand to stab it --

Taser shocks Ricky in the back. His face contorts. He falls
down next to Sean, who is struggling with the wild DOG.

The old lady has the tea in one hand and the taser in the
other. She whistles.

The dog stops its ferocious attack. Leaves Sean.

Sean is lying on his back. Unable to get up. Barely
conscious. His face and neck have been brutalized but cuts
aren't deep.

                       OLD LADY
I know you two are wondering,
why?!

11.

She starts moving around them with the cup of hot tea and
taser still in her hands.

                       OLD LADY
Why did she do this to us?!!! You
guys are sooo happy. Always were
and always will be...

Ricky is paralyzed but can hear her. Sean is still
conscious.

                       SEAN
      (Faint voice)
Sick bitch...

She pours hot tea on Sean's wounded face.

                       SEAN
      (writhes)
Ahhhhh!

Ricky's body is paralyzed but closes his eyes, can't see
this.

Sean in severe pain, tries to get up but can barely move.

She tasers Sean too. Sean fades away.

                       OLD LADY
Ricky I suggest you keep your eyes
closed.

Ricky's eyes drip very tiny tears. Crying but tears can
barely come out.

                       OLD LADY
      (looks at Ricky)
Crying without tears Ricky. I
think that's a song.
      (affected by his
       poor sight)
Come on don't do that.

Gets down on her knees next to him. Looks at him with a
motherly passion.

                       OLD LADY
I never wanted you to suffer.

Ricky opens his eyes and looks to her. Pleading with his
eyes for mercy.

12.

                       OLD LADY
oh dear! Don't be afraid. I won't
hurt you.
      (Turns her eyes to
       Sean)
But that... It's different.

Ricky's eyes just stare at her.

She takes a little vile out of her pocket. Opens it and puts
it at Ricky's nose. Ricky starts to look dizzy.

She brings hand coughs out of her pocket and coughs Sean's
hands behind his back.

She signals to the dog. The dog runs to the bushes and comes
back with a long rope and a halter at its end.

She ties it on Sean's legs and drags him on the ground.
Ricky moans as he watches. She drags Sean to the bushes and
the dog follows.

Ricky watches as the woman, dragged Sean and the dog all
disappear in the bushes. A beat passes and he falls asleep.

                                         CUT TO:

EXT. FOREST - ANOTHER PART - LESS BUSHES AND TREES - NIGHT

A hook with a rope connected to it thrown over a branch. The
hook with the rope end, land on the ground on the other side
of the branch.

The old woman connects the hook to the front bumper of a
SUV. On the hood the names "SEAN and RICKY" are engraved.
Few stickers are on on the sides of the vehicle. Looks like
a SUV for a band on a tour.

The other end of the rope has a halter and it's on Sean's
neck. Hanging style.

EXT. FOREST - THICK BUSHES AND TREES - NIGHT

Ricky Opens his eyes. Starts to gain some strength. The
effect of the taser is fading but not over yet.

SCREAM!!!

Loud and comes from somewhere not so far in the dark forest.

Another SCREAM! This time it is clear it's Sean, in agony.

13.

                       RICKY
      (mutters)
Se... Sea...

Ricky struggles to rise. Dazed and heavy... Another SCREAM
is heard. This forces Ricky to push himself harder until he
is up on his feet. He staggers, tries to maintain some
balance.

Looks around him. Ricky's POV: Swiss-knife is gone. Two cell
phones have been smashed and their plastic scattered on the
ground.

Another scream! He Walks to the source of the sound. Goes
through the bushes. It's Dark and scary. More terrifying
screams heard. He stops, hesitates. Can't make up his mind.

Loud scream : Help!!!

EXT. FOREST - LESS BUSHES AND TREES - NIGHT

Ricky comes out of the bushes to reach the part where Sean
is at.

Sean is on his feet. But hanging from the tree branch with
the rope round his neck. Barely reaching the ground with his
feet. Just enough so that his weight doesn't pull him down
and kill him.

PEELED OFF THIGH -- BLOOD

The dog is there too and is literally having a meal out of
Sean's thigh. Sean is screaming his heart out with pain.

Ricky is petrified but tries to gather his courage. Catches
a stone and throws it at the dog. He misses. Throws another
one -- this time the stone hits the dog in the back of its
head.

The DOG stops eating Sean's thigh. Turns around to Ricky.
Stares a hole in Ricky. Roars like a beast with face and
teeth covered with blood.

Ricky is frozen stiff. Should start running but his legs
won't move. His limbs just won't respond.

The dog turns and walks towards the SUV which has the rope
tied to its bumper. Gets inside the SUV and stays there. The
SUV is on a slope. Its front is facing the tree, Sean is
hanging from.

14.

                       SEAN
      (weeping and
       sobbing)
Ricky... Please man help me. I am
dying man...

Ricky walks slowly and cautiously to Sean. The torn flesh
and blood look uglier as he gets closer to Sean. Bones that
should be concealed under flesh are now in the open.

                       RICKY
Shhh!

Ricky raises his hands to the knot of the halter on Sean's
neck. Tries to untie it.

INT. SUV - NIGHT

Dog is inside it. Below the steering wheel there is a wooden
stick stuck between the driver seat and the brake pedal,
pushing it to max.

The dog looks through the windshield at Ricky and Sean. Then
gets down to the wooden stick and removes it. Then jumps out
of the window.

EXT. SUV - NIGHT

The SUV is on a slope. It slowly moves backwards down the
slope, pulling the rope tied to its front bumper.

CLOSE ON ROPE: Follow it as it stretches up to the tree
branch and down to Sean's neck. Pulling Sean up.

                       SEAN
      (suffocating)
Ric...

Sean's feet are getting off the ground. Sean is choking.
Face turns red.

Ricky tries to pull the rope down. No use.

Sean is lifted up...

Ricky tries to run to the SUV but he is slow.

Sean is in the air, his legs are kicking...

Ricky reaches SUV but it is still moving backwards down the
slow slope.

15.

Ricky tries to open the door and get in but he is too weak
and slow.

Sean's body is writhing...

Ricky gets in the SUV.

Sean's wrists in the coughs behind his back are shaking...

INT. SUV - NIGHT

Ricky pushes the brake pedal with his foot. The vehicle
stops moving. Ricky looks at Sean.

Ricky's POV: Sean's body stopped shaking.

Pushes the engine start button but it doesn't start.

                       RICKY
      (mutters)
Go... God!

His leg can't hold the brake pedal down for long. The SUV
moves backward again. Ricky doesn't seem to care until he
sees --

Insert rear view mirror: river at the end of the slope.

Ricky pushes the brake pedal with all his strength. SUV
stops. Tries the handbrake but it doesn't work.

Can't keep the pedal pushed. Fights to open the door.
Attempts to drop himself out of it when --

The DOG rockets at him, keeping him inside the vehicle. Dog
is over him and bitting his head.

EXT. SUV - NIGHT

The SUV is heading to the river with the Dog and Ricky still
in it. It reaches the river, it's back is drowning. The dog
leaps out of the window and lands on the ground.

INT. SUV - NIGHT

Ricky is bleeding. Dazed. Water is flooding the vehicle.
Ricky struggling to get out. Tired, weak and bleeding.

The water level is above his head now as the vehicle sinks
deeper.

16.

Bubbles come out of his nose and mouth. His lungs are nearly
out of air. He manages to push the door open and get out of
the SUV.

Still below water surface. Battles to swim. Doesn't seem to
make it.

EXT. FOREST RIVER BANK - NIGHT

The river is still.

SUDDENLY! his head is out of the water. He swims, hardly.
Clings to life, to the last of it.

Comes out crawling. Chest on the ground. Coughing water and
mud.

                       OLD LADY
You made it. Congratulations. You
earned the right to live.

Ricky raises his head to see her standing there in the
distance with her dog. She is smiling.

                       OLD LADY
This gives me twice the usual
pleasure.

She snaps her fingers.

In lightening speed the DOG attacks and rips off Ricky's
throat.

                       OLD LADY
      (to his corpse)
I really fooled you, didn't I?!

EXT. FOREST - DAY

Same forest. Cops, forensics, detectives Redford and Mike
are checking the scene and the bodies. A winch is dragging
the SUV out from the river.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
Traveled across five states to
strike again.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
That's so weird.

17.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
So smart too... Hundreds of
miles... Even thousands and in
different directions. Impossible
to predict where the next hit will
be.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
But it's going to be religious,
right?

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
It has to be...

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
Okay that makes our job really
simple.
      (grins)
We only need to alert all
churches, convents and all
religious people in the whole
nation...

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
      (doesn't share the
       sense of humor)
Bodies were here since last night.
Discovered this morning by some
ranger.

                       FORENSIC
      (approaches the
       detectives)
Death time estimated around twelve
hours ago.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
More than enough to be
five-hundred miles away and could
be much closer too. Keeps us
guessing...

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
Maybe we should pray for a clue...

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
      (Looks at the dead
       bodies)
Oh yeah! Pray for their souls
too... Pray...

INT. CHURCH - CATHOLIC - DAY

The church is full. Faces of true believers. Beautiful
choir. Old white male priest with glasses at the pulpit.

The front row has our old lady killer. Wearing an elegant
conservative dress. Cries in silence. Holds the bible close
to her heart. On her left side there is an arrogant looking
middle age man, fancy haircut and suit. Bored, keeps on
checking the time in his Rolex watch.

The choir gets loud. The killer cries more.

The priest looks at the weeping old lady. She notices but
doesn't show it, however she seems to like it.

Cell phone rings, the arrogant man answers it.

                       PAULY
      (loud)
Yeah, Pauly here...

                       OLD LADY
Please... Keep it low.

                       PAULY
      (lower tone but
       still loud)
Sorry for the noise. I am in
church. Granting my mom's wish...

                       OLD LADY
      (doesn't look at
       him)
Your voice is still loud.

                       PAULY
Talk to you later, the place is
full of damn noise and nagging
bitches.
      (hangs up, turns
       to our old lady)
Sorry pussycat.

                       OLD LADY
      (still doesn't
       look at him)
What did you call me?!
      (before he
       responds)
You better pray to God that I
never meet you again.

19.

                       PAULY
      (threatening tone)
Oh! you do sound scary, you hag.

                       OLD LADY
      (looks him in the
       eye and whispers)
The .38 on your ankle won't save
your life. It takes a lot of time
to reach for it. Neither the brass
knuckles in your pocket will. I
felt it with my elbow the moment
you sat your ass down next to me.
      (man stunned)
See, you better shut the fuck up
bitch.

                       PAULY
How did you know about the gun?!!!

                       OLD LADY
Because it's not hammerless,
amateur.

Pauly looks down at his leg. The pistol's hammer makes a
very little mark in his pants left leg. An L.A. detective
might not notice it.

Pauly gets up and goes to sit somewhere else. The choir is
still on. The old lady continues to cry. The priest looks at
her again. They lock eyes for a moment. She closes her eyes.
The priest looks sorry for the weeping old lady.

Church doors are closed. A hand knocks on the door. The
priest opens the door.

Priest POV: The old lady who was crying. Her eyes are still
full of tears. She holds an umbrella and carries a big
lady's purse.

Back to normal scene.

                       OLD LADY
I need to... confess.

Oh! I am...

                       OLD LADY

       her tears back)
I thought that house is always
open. Obviously it's not.

She turns to walk.

                       PRIEST
      (embarrassed)
Please don't go. I am terribly
sorry.

She turns back to him.

Man training a dog to search for something hidden in one of
three bags.

                       OLD LADY (V.O.)
My dad was the best dog trainer
ever. He was a cop too but He
trained dogs for cops and feds as
well. He taught me lots of useful
stuff. Stuff that I still use...

                       PRIEST
No, but...

                       OLD LADY
Then you wouldn't possibly know.
Then I asked my stepfather to loan
me some money to join a college.
He said I would have to pay for it
with my body. I refused to do it.
Later on, I met a very descent
guy. Literally "Prince charming."
He was rich, handsome and by all
means perfect. He was the
salvation dream I used to fancy. I
left my mom and stepfather asshole
and went to live with him in
seventh heaven.
      (ironic laugh)
As soon as I became pregnant, he
kicked me out on the streets...
Just like that... I had no where
to go to so... I was forced to go
back to my mom. Pregnancy before
marriage... that was outrageous
for my mother, the pious bitch.
      (pause)
She and her husband and some
priest agreed that it was best to
put MY BABY for adoption.
      (weeps)
Like it was some commodity they
would put for display...
To make matters easier for them,
they didn't let me go to a

You should not stereotype human

                       PRIEST
These aren't only sins. You could
go to jail. You better change
before it's too late.

                       OLD LADY
I change a few things every five
or ten years. I move from one
place to another. I show up, make
a deal, earn some cash, disappear
again and so on. I steal
equipments that I need then take
care of the individuals I stole it

Stretches his arm to hand it over to her when --

CLOSE ON GUN: BANG!

Cell phone is blown to pieces. Priest's hand seriously
wounded and bleeding.

                       PRIEST

Why?! I don't even know you...
Why?!

                       OLD LADY

                       OLD LADY (O.S.)
I've just locked you inside by
using a heavy-duty dual head
suction cup handle. It should hold
up to 180 pounds. If a glass
surface is 180 pounds heavy, this
should be enough to lift it.

                       PRIEST
Why do you want me locked up?!
      (petrified that he
       can't breath

Are.. you... going to... torture
me?!!

Ticking timer heard. Priest peeks through the net-like

Priest POV: Red digits count down timer. 60,59,58 seconds.

Looks at the timer, horrified. Hits the door with all his
might.

                       PRIEST
      (weeping hard)
Come on... Get me out...
      (no response)
Where the hell are you ?!

Looks at timer, it reads 19,18,17...

Shaking with fear. Attacking the door with his entire body.

fear.

Timer 3,2...

Priest throws his body at the door.

Booth blown into pieces. Priest's body thrown between the
sitting rows.

The priest is motionless. Face down to the ground.

A moment passes. The priest's body writhes. He coughs, turns
over. Face up, looks around him. The church is empty.

                       PRIEST
      (coughing)
I made it... I really...

DOG's EYES are fixed on the priest.

Priest on his feet now. Starts to walk. Slow pace and
cautious.

SUDDENLY! The DOG charges at the priest.

the dog's head is outside the Sedan's window, grabbing
Pauly's left hand with it's sharp blade teeth.

BLOOD... Pauly screams. The Dog won't let the hand go.
Pauly's arm is stretched between the two cars with his left
hand between the dog's jaws inside the Sedan.

                       OLD LADY

Coming from behind the truck, chasing the Porsche...

It's the lady's Sedan. She put a single red flashing light
on top of it. Like the cops do to their unmarked vehicles
when in pursuit.

                       OLD LADY (O.S.)
      (filtered through

hand is severely wounded, however he places it on the wheel
as he reaches down to his .38 pistol.

Pauly's right hand is pulling up his pants left leg when...

SEDAN RAMS into Porsche's rear.

Pauly's face smashes into the steering wheel splitting his
lower lip.

Pants left leg slips from his right hand.

EXT. ROAD - NIGHT

In hot pursuit, the SEDAN chases the Old Porsche. Getting
far from the Truck.

39.

Exit on the right. The Porsche accelerates and when about to
miss the exit... makes a sudden hard right.

The Sedan didn't have time to make it to the exit. It just
missed it.

INT. PAULY'S PORSCHE - NIGHT

Pauly looks in the rear view mirror. He lost the Sedan. Face
relieved a little. Looks at his hand.

                       PAULY
Crazy bitch...

Looks at the road. It's too dark, no asphalt, just a paved
unmarked road. Seems to be endless. There is nothing but
dust. Slows down.

                       PAULY
      (to himself)
I better go back to the main
road...

ENGINE ROARS in the b.g.

EXT. DUST ROAD - NIGHT

The Sedan, head lights are off. Charges at the Porsche.

INT. PAULY'S PORSCHE - NIGHT

Sees the Sedan in the rear view mirror. Franticly reaches
down for his .38 again. Quickly pulls up the pants left leg.
With a shaking hand, draws out the pistol from the little
ankle holster, the hammer gets stuck with the pants left
leg. Pistol is slipping from his fingers...

EXT. DUST ROAD - NIGHT

Porsche shook with another hit from the Sedan to its rear.
Tail lights smashed.

INT. PAULY'S PORSCHE - NIGHT

PISTOL falls from his hand. It's between the clutch and the
breaks pedals.

40.

Porsche shakes again with a big strike to its rear. Pauly is
forced to leave the pistol on the floor and drive with his
right hand.

He shifts gear and pumps the gas.

INT. OLD LADY'S CAR - SEDAN - NIGHT

Watches the Porsche speed accelerating. Draws out a 500
magnum Smith&Wesson. Out of the window on her left she
stretches her arm and --

BANG! The recoil almost threw the gun from her hand.

Smoke comes out of the Porsche's rear.

                       OLD LADY
      (to her dog)
That's the problem with sports
cars. Many of them have the engine
in the back.

EXT. DUST ROAD - NIGHT

Porsche slows down a little but still going fast. The Sedan
seizes the moment and speeds up. The Sedan is on the left
and Porsche is on the right. So close they almost touch
sides.

INT. OLD LADY'S CAR - SEDAN - NIGHT

                       OLD LADY
      (shouts to Pauly)
I told you, you better pray I
never see you again.

                       PAULY
      (shouts to old
       lady)
You also told me to use
hammerless...
      (pistol in his
       right hand)
You were wrong BITCH!!!

BANG! BANG! BANG!!!

One bullet hits the windshield. Sedan slows down. Another
hits the hood and the third misses the entire car.

41.

                       OLD LADY
      (to herself)
Aiming at a target on your left
side with your right hand while
driving and your target is slowing
down. It's normal that you miss.
      (to her dog)
He fired three rounds of his 5
round .38 special. Two more to
go...

EXT. DUST ROAD - NIGHT

Sedan is behind the Porsche. Sedan rams into the Porsche.
Pauly turns his upper torso to aim at the Sedan behind him.
He fires twice and misses as the Sedan maneuvers from right
to left.

The Sedan speeds up and positions itself next to the
Porsche. Pauly aims his pistol carefully and pulls the
trigger. NO SHOT...

Pauly hit by realization... in a glimpse of an eye before he
speeds up... the Sedan gets closer... DOG rockets to his
wounded arm again...

Same ugly situation with Pauly's arm stretched between both
cars.

The lady laughs hysterically, turns the radio up, so loud...
Pauly screams... Sedan picking up speed...

Porsche tries to speed up, the engine roars but can't. More
smoke comes out of its engine.

Pauly is getting pulled out of his vehicle when --

the old lady spots --

WOODEN ROAD SIGN AHEAD ON THE LEFT --

-- old lady smiles and the Sedan veers left, hitting the
Porsche side, forcing the Porsche to go left as well.
Distance between the two cars is less than 2 feet, but just
enough for the Wooden road sign.

The maneuver makes the sign ahead comes between both cars.
At high SPEED... Arm STRETCHED between two cars...

TORN FLESH AND BLOOD...

42.

Pauly's arm literally ripped off. Elbow blasted... Hand and
Wrist are with the Dog. BLOOD fountain coming out of Pauly's
severed limb. Pauly blacked out. Part between shoulder and
torn elbow is pouring blood on the road.

Old lady is smiling ecstatically...

Porsche runs with no control on the steering wheel, tumbles
over a bump and flips over like a turtle on its back.

INT. OLD LADY'S CAR - SEDAN - NIGHT

She pulls over. Looks at the bullet hole in the windshield
and the one in the hood. Shifts her eyes to the dog. The
bloodied hand is still between his jaws and the wrist is
hanging from it. Lots of blood on the dog, the door, the
seat, the dash board, the floor and the windshield.

                       OLD LADY
      (to dog; dead
       serious)
Are you going to eat that thing or
what?!!!
      (grins)
Now we need to cover the holes or
change their shapes at least and
clean that mess...
      (looks at the
       flipped over car)
...and finish what we started...

The dog starts chewing the flesh between its jaws. She looks
at the GPS device in the dashboard.

                       OLD LADY
Need to find new roads and change
our fuckin destination...

EXT. ROAD - SNOW - MORNING

The old lady drives her sedan. Little transparent plastic
sheet covering the hole in the wind shield.

INT. SEDAN - AFTERNOON

Old lady looks nervous. Dog looks sleepy.

43.

                       OLD LADY
      (to her dog)
Damn it... Only if you didn't bite
his arm...

The wind scraps the piece of plastic off the hole. It flies
away.

                       OLD LADY
See... That hole in the windshield
is going to make us freeze.

                                         DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. ROAD - HEAVY SNOW - NIGHT

Horrible blizzard. The sedan is going through it. We can
barely see it in the storm.

INT. SEDAN - NIGHT

Old lady is wearing a heavy coat. The dog is wrapped in a
red blanket. The hole in the windshield lets in enough cold
to freeze them. The lady is furious.

                       OLD LADY
We need a place to stay till the
morning... Can't go any more...
Can't even see the bloody road...

Lady's POV: Dim light from a house up ahead in the distance.

                       OLD LADY
At last... I need a disguise... I
think I have what I need.

                                         CUT TO:

EXT. HOUSE - DOOR - NIGHT

Hand rings the bell... No answer... Rings again...

Someone peeks through the glass, from inside the house.
Opens the door a little. Just a few inches to talk through.

INT. HOUSE - DOOR - NIGHT

POV of who opened the door: A Catholic old nun. Wearing a
coat but her face is freezing.

44.

                       OLD LADY
      (dressed as a nun)
Thank God, please... My car
stopped. I don't know what to
do...

We pull back. It's a man, who opened the door. Mid forties.
This is EVAN.

                       EVAN
Well! I...

                       TOMMY (O.S.)
A nun...

We pull back to reveal it's a ten year old boy.

                       TOMMY
Dad... Aren't you going to let her
in ?!!!

                       EVAN
Of course I will. Please come in.

Evan opens the door wide to let her in.

                       OLD LADY
Thank you. God bless you both, and
bless us both...

As she walks in Evan and his son Tommy see the Rotweiller
behind her.

                       EVAN
      (re; the dog)
What the heck ?!!!

                       OLD LADY
      (quickly)
It's my dog. All God's creatures
deserve the church care and
attention. Pardon me, but we can't
just leave it to freeze outside.

                       EVAN
It looks wild, but you can keep
it. Just keep your eyes on it. I
have a little kid, alright.

The dog walks in slowly with its head down. Evan closes the
door. Locks it well.

45.

                       OLD LADY
It has never ever bitten any one.
It wouldn't harm a fly. You can
pat it on the back.
      (to Tommy)
You can pat it on the back. Come
on don't act like it's going to
bite off your hand.

                                         CUT TO:

EXT. DUST ROAD - FLIPPED OVER PORSCHE - NIGHT

Forensic collecting the bitten off hand and wrist. Cops and
detectives Redford and Mike are there too. Pauly's corpse is
outside the vehicle. Brutally torn apart. Like a pact of
wolves used it for dinner.

                       FORENSIC
Marks show same jaws size. Must be
the same beast.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
That one is sloppy.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
      (hands Redford a
       file)
That's the report about the church
massacre. Used a cell phone to
detonate the bomb.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
That's an old trick. It was first
used in 2003 I think. Used
cellular phone to trigger
improvised explosive device, IED.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
You want something new. It's a
woman.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
A woman...

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
Check the transcript of the
priest's conversation with 911. He
said it was an old woman and a
rottweiler dog.

46.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
The religious was always the last
to hit. That's really strange...

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
What's more strange is that she
revealed herself to us. Now we
know it's an old woman and we know
her dog type. We need road blocks
to check every car that has a
woman with a rottweiler dog. Same
for train stations and airports
too.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
Yeah, you know what... It's not
strange... It's only that she
started decades ago. She must be
over sixty years old by now.
Knowing this could be her last
round as a serial killer she
wanted the whole world to know
that it's a woman. She wanted us
to know that all those years we
were terrorized and beaten by a
woman.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
Some woman, huh...

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
But revealing this at the final
kill, is a retirement move.
Contradicts with the road chase.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
She also didn't plan well for it,
like she did with the others. She
allowed her victim to have a gun.
We found empty shells in the
pistol. He must have unloaded his
gun at her while he was trying to
save his life.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
This one was random. An unexpected
event. Not that she didn't plan
well for it. She probably didn't
plan for it at all . At last our
serial killer made a mistake. I
need the description mentioned by
that late priest to be
broad-casted on every T.V. channel
and radio too. Check all garages,

tracks show there was a hell of a
chase. Maybe her vehicle needs
fixing and maybe some bullets hit
it.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
I agree with you but I bet she
will get rid of her dog... I mean
together they are a walking add.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
I think that dogs are the only
family she ever had. I think it
won't be easy to get rid of it. I
think she will count on the time
she gained ahead of us. She never
failed before. She has huge ego.
THAT is what will make her go down
this time.

                       EVAN
      (slicing meat)
Help yourself...

                       OLD LADY
Aren't you going to tell grace?

                       EVAN
Oh! sure. Thank you God, amen.
Let's eat.

                       TOMMY
      (interrupting)
Thank you God for giving us food,
a home, good health, a nun and a
dog.

She is about to laugh but holds it, turns it into a smile.

Amen...

Just like when mom was around.

This strikes Evan cold. The old lady notices.

                       EVAN

                       TOMMY
Ask God to let me see mom in my
dreams.

Evan kisses Tommy's forehead affectionately. That his son
doesn't have a mom is eating his heart out.

                       OLD LADY
I surely will. Sleep tight little
angel.

You are right...

going to bed my son? You do look
exhausted.

                       EVAN

       affected by Tommy)
No, actually... I think I need to

                       OLD LADY
Mm... you always watch it alone.

I don't know why do they even make

51.

                       EVAN
Weak! He was and still the most
dangerous serial killer in
history.

                       OLD LADY
Men naturally have a stronger body
built than women. He was a man and
instead of facing men, he used to
prey on women. In other words, he
feared men. He was an incapable
man.

                       EVAN
Maybe he wanted to hurt women
only.

                       OLD LADY
A man like that. You think he

He sure did...

                       OLD LADY
However, he doesn't have a single
male victim in his record, which
means that HE didn't dare to
select a victim stronger than him,
unlike daring female killers.

                       EVAN
Daring females, you call them!!!

                       OLD LADY
      (oops)
Evil females who dare to upset the
Lord and kill his creatures.
Outrageous.

                       EVAN
You seem to be well versed about
serial killer stuff.

                       OLD LADY
I spoke to poor victims before.

                       EVAN
You talk to the dead...

52.

                       OLD LADY
Ones who survived my son, ones who
survived.
      (looks at him with
       kindness)
Tell me my son, where is your
wife?

                       EVAN
She passed away.

                       OLD LADY
Why do I sense a guilty conscience
in voice tone?!
      (looks deep in his
       eyes)
You didn't have anything to do
with it, did you?
      (beat)
...my son.

                       EVAN
      (letting it out)
I had EVERYTHING to do with it...
I brought death to her life...

                       OLD LADY
      (curious)
How ?

He is reluctant to tell.

                       OLD LADY
Maybe the Lord wanted me to travel
in the middle of a storm to be
here with you tonight. Maybe God
wanted to set your soul free. My
son, talk to me.

                       EVAN
I... I was once an outlaw... One
of my associates... Forget
it...it's too late...

                       OLD LADY
Unload your burden. Accept God's
offer to help you. Confession
cleanses the soul.

                       EVAN
      (melting down)
I was a human trafficker.
Trafficker, trafficked people for
all kinds of labor. I was caught.

53.

                       EVAN (cont'd)
One of my crew thought that I
would rat them to save my skin. So
after my wife bailed me out, he
attacked me at my house with a
machine gun. She died...
      (a tear comes out)
I was only able to take our son
and run away. I made a deal with
the FBI and have been living in
the witness protection program for
years...

                       OLD LADY
      (closes her eyes
       for a moment,
       face fakes
       sympathy)
Oh dear! My heart aches for you.
Go on my son, continue...

                       EVAN
What hurts me most is my son,
Tommy. Poor child, never had a
normal life.

                       OLD LADY
Your regret is your redemption. As
for your son, you will do
everything possible to give him a
better life. I am sure you will.
Keep the bible with you at all
times.

                       EVAN
I don't think I have ever prayed
to God before in my life.

                       OLD LADY
God is merciful. I wasn't born
like this. I was once lonely and
hurt like you are, but the bible
helped me to become the
personification of inner peace.
Peace that I gain from people who
still have good hearts like yours.

                       EVAN
I don't know how you do it, but I
really feel better now. Okay,
thank you for listening to me.

54.

                       OLD LADY
You will feel much better every
time you let the Lord guide you.

She yawns, looks deadly tired.

                       EVAN
You need to get some sleep.

                       OLD LADY
I will stay by your side until you
go to bed yourself. Would never
leave a suffering soul alone.

                       EVAN
I'll go to sleep too. Come on let
me show you your room upstairs.

                                         CUT TO:

INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

Small room, bed not far from the door. The nun is asleep and
her dog is next to her. Moon light illuminates from the
window. She opens her eyes.

                       OLD LADY
      (Checks her watch)
I hate getting old.
      (to her sleeping
       dog)
I envy you for the consecutive
hours you sleep every night.

She gets out of the bed. Walks to the door. Opens it. As she
steps out.

GUN COCKING!

Old Lady's POV: Evan a few feet away in the corridor. He
holds a semi-automatic gun, points it at her face.

                       EVAN
Were you going to kill my child?
Get back inside the room.

She moves back in.

Evan walks into the bedroom, with his gun still pointed at
her.

55.

                       OLD LADY
My son, what are you doing?!

                       EVAN
I couldn't sleep so, I went
downstairs again to watch the T.V.

                       OLD LADY
I watched the same news before. Do
you really think that it's me that
old woman?! That serial killer?!!!

                       EVAN
The rottweiller.

The dog opens its eyes.

                       OLD LADY
Thousands of people have
rottweillers.

                       EVAN
I checked your car. Found bullet
holes in it. They said on the news
that one of your victims unloaded
a .38 pistol at you.

Her dogs moves its head slightly in the dark room. Evan
doesn't notice but she does.

                       OLD LADY
And what are you going to do about
it? You live under witness
protection program. You don't want
any info regarding your
whereabouts to be mentioned to any
cop. Most of them are corrupted
like you know. If there is a price
on your head, some one will rat
you and collect it for sure.

                       EVAN
I called the FBI agent responsible
for me. He knows what to do.

                       OLD LADY
      (smiles, cold as
       ice)
Well in that case I'll go to jail
just like...
      (snaps her fingers)
...that.

56.

The DOG SPRINGS UP in the air, attacking Evan. BANG! The dog
lands over Evan. They both fall on the floor. Dog above
Evan. Evan's gun sent flying away from his hand.

The dog bleeds from its torso. However, it's all over Evan,
biting and scratching him. Evan is screaming and struggling
for his life.

The lady draws out her pistol aims at Evan, when --

Tommy shows at the bedroom door step. Horrified at the
sight. The old lady shifts her eyes to poor little Tommy.

                       OLD LADY
I won't kill you. I'll leave you
under the mercy of my dog, knowing
that I will be butchering your
baby.

                       EVAN
      (struggling with
       the beast)
RUN TOMMY! RUN...

Tommy runs.

She fires at him. Misses. Going after the boy. On her way
out the room... Trips in Evan's legs and falls down. Gets up
again and out of the room.

EXT. CORRIDOR - OUTSIDE BEDROOM - DAY

She comes out, running. Her fall in the room bought Tommy
some time. He is already gong down the last few steps on the
staircase on his way down.

She runs but she is too slow in comparing to Tommy.

She is on the staircase now but Tommy is already down,
opening the door to the basement and getting in.

                                         CUT TO:

INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

The DOG is still on top of EVAN. Evan reaches for a twenty
pound dumbbell. Hits the dog with it in the head. Knocking
the DOG off him.

57.

Evan so weak but tries to get up. The DOG is getting up too.
Evan hardly lifts the dumbbell up, wants to land it on the
DOG.

                                         CUT TO:

INT. BASEMENT - NIGHT

She walks in with a pistol in her hand.

Surprised with the sight of TOMMY holding a SHOTGUN.

DOUBLE-BANG!!! HER PISTOL AND HIS SHOTGUN...

TOMMY is DOWN on his back...

She is down too.

Tommy slowly sits up, back of his head hurts from the fall.
He holds his head.

He looks at her with fear. She is motionless. He holds his
shotgun with shaking little hands and walks toward her body
on the floor with trembling feet.

He gets closer. He stands next to her. Nun's gown has been
shredded on the right side. Tommy pokes her with his shotgun
to see if she is still alive.

Suddenly she grabs his rifle with her hands. Tommy pulls the
trigger. Nothing happens.

                       OLD LADY
      (coughs)
Should have re-cocked it.

As she finishes her sentence she kicks Tommy in the gut,
throwing him on the floor next to an old fridge.

                       OLD LADY
Just like the recoil of the
shotgun dropped you on your ass.
Firing big caliber kicks back
doesn't it?! Your pathetic dad
should have taught you that.
      (checks her chest)
Should have also taught you that
when you shoot someone and no
blood comes out, it means that
there is a bullet proof vest. You
only scratched the right side of
it any way. If you hit me in the
my midsection the impact alone
            (MORE)

58.

                       OLD LADY (cont'd)
would have broken my ribs.
      (coughs again)
You would have had enough time to
run away.

She gets up on her feet and holds both weapons, the SHOTGUN
and her PISTOL. Tommy has nothing but fear.

She aims her pistol at the boy. Terrorized Tommy is frozen
stiff, his face looks dead already.

HER FINGER ON TRIGGER...

land down on a table in the living room downstairs. Crashing
the table with their heavy bodies and landing hard on the
floor. Dog first then Evan over it.

fall on the ceiling about her head.

DOG SCREAMS IN PAIN O.S. She hears it, glimpses at the
basement's door. Turns back to the kid.

OLD FRIDGE IS OPEN. In it is a cylinder connected to a big
tube held by Tommy with both hands. A FLAME THROWER. lady
caught by surprise for the fraction of a second.

HER POV: HELL FIRE FLIES TOWARDS HER.

                       TOMMY
      (as he fires)
Dad taught me that this has no
recoil.

Old lady is on FIRE. She pulls the trigger BANG!

She misses Tommy, who burns her with more FLAMES.

SHE FALLS DOWN...

59.

SHE WRITHES... CONVULSES...

Tommy pumps her some more...

FIRE IS EATING HER. SHE MOVES NO MORE.

                       TOMMY
      (cries)
You killed my father.

Stuff in the basement catch some of the fire. Tommy tries to
leave the basement. The way to the door is full of fire now.
The whole basement is catching fire. Tommy is TRAPPED.

The fire is getting thicker and thicker. Tommy tries to
avoid the burning. Cries more.

                       TOMMY
      (weeping)
HELP... HELP...

Figure moves behind the flames. Tommy notices it.

                       TOMMY
Daddy... Over-here daddy...

The bleeding dog leaps above the fire, lands in the floor a
few feet away from Tommy. Opens its jaws...

Tommy turns to run... No where to go to...

DOG jumps, targeting little terrified poor Tommy.

Tommy grabs the flame thrower...

DOG'S TEETH ON ITS WAY TO TOMMY...

In a nick of time. Launches the flame thrower. Nothing
happens its empty. The Dog lands over Tommy. Tommy's hand
grabs an electric wire from the wall on his way down with
dog over him. Electric wire cut.

TOMMY'S NECK BETWEEN THE DOG'S JAWS.

Tommy sticks the electric wire in the dog's torso open
wound. The dog screams, gets off Tommy as it backs away
getting the wire out of its wound. Gets the wire out of its
wound but by mistake catches some fire.

Tommy checks the Flame Thrower cylinders, turns the valve.
The dog ROARS WILDLY in pain.

60.

Tommy opens fire between the open JAWS sending flames
through the beast's THROAT that it comes out from the other
end of the beast's body. Sending it to HELL DAMNATION along
with its MISTRESS bitch.

The place is full of fire and smoke. Tommy coughs. Tommy
gets inside the old fridge. While getting inside it, the
fire catches his clothes. He gets rid of his jacket which is
on fire. He gets inside the old fridge and closes it on
himself.

                                         DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. OUTSIDE EVAN'S HOUSE - NIGHT

Some of the house been burnt.

FBI is there, Detectives Redford and Mike. Ambulances. Fire
fighters.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
Too bad we couldn't save anyone.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
Yeah!

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
Now what?!

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
Now we leave. Like you said. We
saved no one.

61.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
Exactly, I hate when the FBI takes
all credit.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
It's fair. They came here first.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
Because they knew before we did.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
They saved the kid, too. Credit
sure goes to them.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
A kid beats the granny serial
killer. Makes a good headline.

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
Have a better one. The Granny
killer. Or the boy who killed the
bitch granny.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
I feel sorry for the kid. He will
be sent to one of those foster
homes, right?!

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
Right...

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
Tell me do you miss your son?

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
I sure do. Interpol, always
traveling abroad. I never get to
see him any more. My wife blames
me for it.

                       DETECTIVE MIKE
Yeah! So...

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
You think I can have a chance to
raise another cop ?!

                       DETECTIVE REDFORD
I bet you do...

FADE OUT.
