a sad silence.

CUT TO: CREDITS

EXT. OVERLOOK - DAY

BLUE and CAREY exit the car and move to the front of it,
where they sit on the hood.

                       BLUE
I was sitting in a park in Paris.
France, you know. I was reading
the news and all of a sudden I
thought... You know, it sure looks
bad.

As BLUE says that dialogue, CUT TO:

EXT. PARK - DAY

BLUE goes and has a seat on the park bench with her
newspaper. She reads it some and begins to cry.

EXT. OVERLOOK - DAY

                       CAREY
Well, ya know what? I met a
redneck on a Grecian isle. He did
the goat dance very well.

EXT. SMALL ISLAND AREA - DAY

The GRECIAN ISLE DANCER appears to be showing CAREY a dance.
Both of them eventually do it in unison.

BLUE smiles

2.

                       CAREY
Want to see?

                       BLUE
      (laughing)
Yes

He begins to do the dance, but stops and looks away.

                       CAREY
He gave me back my smile.

CAREY goes back over to the edge of the steep hill and looks
out on the horizon. He looks back at BLUE

                       CAREY
I might have stayed there...

                       BLUE
      (sarcastically)
But your...

                       CAREY
      (quietly, looking
       away)
...heart cried out for you.

BLUE moves over to CAREY. CAREY is bothered by BLUE's
suggestive sarcasm.

BLUE puts her hand on DEXTER's shoulder.

After we...I bought a ticket.

CUT TO: (Series of) Ticket being exchanged.

                       BLUE
Caught a plane to Spain.

CUT TO: BLUE looking up at the airport or in the airport.

                       BLUE
And I went to a party. It was down
this old, dirt road.

CUT TO: BLUE walking down a road or ally/street.

                       BLUE
There were lots of pretty people
there.

CUT TO: Party scene. All three PARTY GIRLS are there, along

with a few partygoers. The PARTY GIRLS try to get BLUE to
relax and have fun. BLUE walks around the party and sees
them drinking and reading their ROLLING STONE and VOGUE
magazines.

                       BLUE
And I remember they were reading.
Some "Rolling Stone", some vogue
(laughs)

                       BLUE
And they asked me. "How long can
you hang around?" (mouthed by one
of the party girls)

                       BLUE
And I said "A week, maybe two.
Then Im going home. To
California."

                       CAREY
It gets so lonely when you're
walking, and the sreets are full
of all these...strangers. All the
news you read is of the changes.

As this is said, CAREY walks down a lonely street, where
strangers pass him.

                       BLUE
Will you take me...as I am?

CAREY, shocked by what BLUE has said, gets up, confused.

                       CAREY
I wouldn't want to stay here. It's
too old and cold, and...settled
here. We aren't like that.

                       CAREY
Still a lot of lands to see.

INT. CAREY'S CAR - DAY

                       CAREY
Just before our love got lost, I
remember you said: "I am as
constant as a norther star."

CUT TO: BLUE and CAREY laying on a blanket and looking up at
the sky.

4.

                       BLUE
Constantly in the darkness...

                       CAREY
Where's that at?

                       BLUE
I'm frightened by the devil. But,
Im drawn to those that aren't
afraid for some reason.

                       CAREY
I remember that time you told me,
you said "Love is touching
soulds."

                       BLUE
Surely you touched mine. Part of
yours poured out of me.

                       CAREY
Hey

                       BLUE
Hmm

                       CAREY
Songs are like tattoos.

CUT TO: CAREY walking up to a shoreline.

                       CAREY
You know I've been to see before.

In his memory, BLUE walks up next to him. He is wearing
different clothes but she isn't, which signals that she
wasn't there in the actual event. As they talk, CAREY bends
over and picks up a shell and puts it in his pocket.

                       BLUE
Crowned and anchored.

                       CAREY
Let me sail away. Gone, forgotten.

                       BLUE
      (Presently to him)
Never

                       CAREY
There's a song I made for you.

CUT TO: CAREY writing on a piece of paper near the shore.

5.

                       BLUE
Ink on a pin?

                       CAREY
No- Underneath the skin. Its an
empty space I had to fill in.
There's so many things sinking
now.

                       BLUE
You've got to keep thinking. You
can make it through these waves of
ours.

                       CAREY
Acid and booze and ass? Those hard
things?

                       BLUE
No- the needles and the grass. The
simple things.

                       CAREY
Lots of laughs...Lots of laughs...

                       BLUE
      (begins to cry)
Everybody's saying that hell is
the hippest way to go. And I'm
here, in this places with you, and
hell is just on the other side.

BLUE flashes back to the party.

                       CAREY
Well I don't think so.

                       BLUE
I'm gonna take a look around it
though.

BLUE says this and begins to get out of the car, ending her
relationship with CAREY. He stops her with his words.

                       CAREY
I love you.

BLUE stops and looks out the window. She begins to cry. A
sorrowful cry, like she wants to be forgiven for being the
person she's been. CAREY pulls out the shell from his
pocket.

6.

                       CAREY
Here is a shell for you.

BLUE smiles, her eyes wet.

                       CAREY
Inside you'll hear a sigh.

                       BLUE
A foggy, mundane lullaby?

                       CAREY
No. Inside is your song from me.

BLUE holds the shell in one hand and CAREY's hand in the
other. She puts her head on his shoulder and they drive off.

FADE OUT.

There are some really beautiful words in here but it is really confusing, i think there needs to be more of a story line here. Explain and tell who the characters are and what they are doing. how they got to this point
