RENT A NERD

FADE IN:

INT. HOUSE - DAY
                                                            
DESCRIPTION
                                                            
The commercial is about a man who is having computer
problems. He calls the Rent A Nerd service and they quickly
arrive at the man's house. They bust down the door and fix
his computer and leave. The man thanks the service, giving
it a thumbs up. The screen fades to black and the captions
are displayed
                                                            
FIRST SCENE START
                                                            
A man is sitting at his computer pounding on the keyboard
when the computer bluescreens. His facial expression changes
as indicated by an extreme closeup and his facial expression
indicates that he is frustrated. He picks up the phone.
                                                            
 
INT. HOUSE, 10 MINUTES LATER - DAY
                                                            
The camera is facing the door. Three nerds kick the door
open, let loose a shrilling nerdish war cry and run to the
man, still unaware of their presence, and tackle him out of
his chair. Time elapses. The nerds slap a piece of paper on
the computer screen displaying the the words "Not Broken
Anymore" and leave feeling proud. The camera shows a medium
shot of the man lying on the floor twitching.
                                                            
 
INT. HOUSE, AFTER NERDS LEAVE - DAY
                                                            
Man is sitting in front of the camera. He has a large
bandage wrapped around his head indicating he was hurt when
the nerds tackled him. In the background the screen with the
same piece of paper saying "Not Broken Anymore"
                                                            
                       MAN
      (Giving a thumbs
       up)
Thanks rent a nerd!
                                                            
Scene goes black and the terminator music plays, the words
"RENT A NERD" individually smash into the background
followed by their phone number.
                                                            


FADE OUT.

Not funny. Not original.

Very Good. A little melodramatic. but somewhat original. You could lose the "Thanks rent-a-nerd!" part. very cheesy. although that could've been the intention.

Pretty funny. I was freaked out by "Rent A Nerd" because that's the computer consulting company that my dad works for! My dad is a proffesional nerd just like the guys in this commercial! Where'd you come up with the name? e-mail me at quinnsouther@comcast.net to talk more about it. Hope to see more writing from your end.
