EXT. SILVER MILLENNIUM - ESTABLISHING - DAY |
Skyline of the ancient Silver Millennium. It looks like a
very large Ancient Greece-style city, except with some
futuristic looking monorails that run throughout the
city, along with some small, hi-tech looking aircraft
flying overhead and some space-age dome-like buildings
mixed in. Basically, think "Ancient Greece meets Tatooine
from Star Wars". |

INT. SILVER MILLENNIUM PALACE - THRONE ROOM - AFTERNOON |
QUEEN SERENITY, late-20's, adorned in elaborate,
victorian-style royal dress, is sitting at the throne of
a beautiful castle. The castle has white marble walls and
a brown marble floor with golden pillars that run down
the throne room, as well as a purple carpet leading up to
the throne. She is holding a BLUE-EYED BABY in a cradle.
She looks sad. A MAN and a WOMAN in what looks to be
shepherds clothes except with large back-scabbards on
(with swords in them), walk in and bow before her. The
queen looks up at them. She has a gentle voice- |
QUEEN SERENITY
Eternal warrior prophets: Luna,
Artemis. Please arise. |
The two of them arise. They remove their hoods, revealing
their faces. Luna, a gorgeous fair brunette with gentle
brown eyes and long wavy hair. She appears later on but
not in this form. Then Artemis, a handsome blonde man who
looks strong. They both have golden upside down crescentmoon
symbols on the center of their foreheads that looks
like body jewlry or something. |
ARTEMIS
I, Artemis, address you, Queen
Serenity. |
QUEEN SERENITY
I hear there will be an invasion. |
LUNA
I, Luna, address you, Queen
Serenity. This force comes from
another world altogether. |
2.
QUEEN SERENITY
Another world? As in...from
outside of the earth? |
LUNA
Yes. They reside within an astroid
headed for a collision course with
this planet. |
ARTEMIS
They've come for the holy stone:
the Imperium Silver Crystal. It is
in your possession, my queen. You
know of its power better than
anyone. |
QUEEN SERENITY
How shall we prepare?
(looks down at the baby)
Will my daughter be safe? She's
royal blood. |
EXT. SILVER MILLENNIUM - SMALL VILLAGE - NIGHT (FLASHBACK) |
Dragons the size of crocidiles are flying through a
futuristic village, BLOWING down fire. People running for
their lives. |
LUNA (V.O.)
As for your kingdom, it will be a
fight to the death. |
EXT. SILVER MILLENNIUM - MOUNTAINSIDE - DAY (FLASHBACK) |
Soldiers in futuristic Halo-esque armor with weaponry to
match are near a mountain FIRING at a horde of wildly
flying dragons. One dragon BLOWS fire at them and some of
the soldiers jump out of the way, but many of them are
caught on fire. |
ARTEMIS (V.O.)
We are referring to them as the
Dark Kingdom, and they will come
in full force. |
EXT. SILVER MILLENNIUM PALACE - COURTYARD - DAWN (FLASHBACK) |
QUEEN BERYL, tall and elegantly built but her skin is
death-pale, long burgundy-black hair, walks into the
courtyard of the castle on a stormy dawn backed by three
abnormally pale men in trench coats and combat boots. |
3.
LUNA (V.O.)
Their leader is a demonic being by
the name of Queen Beryl. Her
forces will tear down every fiber
of your kingdom to claim what they
feel should be theirs. |
INT. SILVER MILLENNIUM PALACE - THRONE ROOM - CONTINUOUS |
QUEEN SERENITY
Where does their astroid come
from? |
Luna and Artemis look down sadly. |
INT. SILVER MILLENNIUM PALACE - GENETICS LAB - NIGHT |
Queen Serenity frantically walks into a dark futuristic
looking laboratory with her baby in a cradle. She walks
over to a table that has a glass capsule about the size
of a large microwave sitting on it. She takes the baby
out of the cradle and sets it into the capsule, shuts it,
and hits a button. The entire capsule freezes over.
Artemis and Luna walk in on her. |
LUNA
My queen. I take it you are
preserving your child so that she
may live later? |
QUEEN SERENITY
I know my kingdom will be
destroyed. But I don't want her to
be. |
Artemis pushes a button on the table. A compartment on
the ground opens up. They pick the capsule up, carefully
put it inside the compartment, push the button on the
table, and the top of the compartment shuts. Queen
Serenity looks over at them. |
She then walks over to a metal box sitting on the table
and opens it, revealing a velvet interior containing a
black rose, 2 golden lockets and 3 silver ones. |
4.
QUEEN SERENITY
The two of you are eternal, so I'm
giving you the responsibility for
my daughter that when she becomes
old enough, you will seek her out
and counsel her. I'm sure she will
be targeted by the Dark Kingdom.
(showing them the lockets)
Therefore, she will need warriors
to protect her. What you see
before you will give them the
powers necessary to do so.
Worry not about the rose, however.
For this protector will find it on
his own.
(looks back up at the them)
Choose these warriors wisely, dear
prophets. For the future of
humankind will be resting in their
hands. |
Luna and Artemis nod. |
EXT. NEAR A MOUNTAIN - DAY |
Men are gathered around a crane that's just dug up a huge
hole in the ground. Two archeologists are holding the
dirt covered frozen capsule with the baby in it, staring
in awe at what they have just dug up.
SUPER: "UNKNOWN LOCATION, 1992 A.D." |
INT. LABORATORY - AFTERNOON |
The capsule sits on a lab table, thawed out, opened, and
the baby removed. The baby, soaking wet and crying, is in
the arms of a SCIENTIST, who gently dries the baby off
and wraps it in a warm towel. HIS ASSISTANT looks over at
him. |
SCIENTIST
(in awe)
This has to be one of the greatest
discoveries in the history of
modern science. Can you imagine
just how long this capsule has
been under the ground? What a
beautiful baby girl! |
5.
ASSISTANT
Dr. Hart wants us to take it over
to the adoption agency. Their
latest clients are the Sylvan
family out of Houston, TX, who
has a wife in the home whose
barren.They've been looking for a
child for months and have had no
luck. |
SCIENTIST
I see. I'm sure we can work
something out, then. This baby
looks perfectly healthy. |
ASSISTANT
Should we tell them about where
this baby comes from? |
The scientist shakes his head. |
SCIENTIST
It'd be best if we leave that
information out. We want this
child to live as normal a life as
possible. Maybe she can find
out when she's older, but we'll
cross that bridge when we come to
it. |
The scientist gently hands the baby over to his
assistant, who smiles down at the baby. |

EXT. HOUSTON SKYLINE - ESTABLISHING - MORNING |
SUPER: "HOUSTON, 2009 A.D." |
INT. SERENA'S HOUSE - SERENA'S BEDROOM - MORNING |
A typical underachieving teenage girl's room. Hot pink
walls, clothes and teen girl magazines strewn all over
the floor. Posters of rockers, rappers and pop stars
tacked along the walls. A mini-fridge next to the
dresser. A 25-inch television set in front of the bed. |
SERENA, a beautiful 17-year old blue-eyed blonde with a
perfect tan, is fast asleep, snoring, laying on her
blanket-less bed, wearing a white tank top and gray
pajama shorts. The alarm clock on the nightstand goes
off. Serena moans, turns over and slaps the clock,
causing it to fall over, still sounding. |
6.
SERENA'S MOTHER (O.S.)
Serena! Get up! You're late! |
At that moment, SERENA'S MOTHER, a pleasant-faced
brunette in her mid-40's, quickly walks in, picks up the
alarm clock, shuts it off, sets it back onto the
nightstand and begins to gently shake Serena awake- |
SERENA'S MOTHER
Serena, you're late. C'mon, now. |
Serena moans again, then slowly looks up at the clock.
8:00 am. She GASPS. |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - DAY |
Serena is standing on the sidewalk, waving for taxis,
constantly glancing down at her watch. None of the taxis
are stopping for her. She sighs in frustration. |
GIRL (O.S.)
Trust me, girl. I understand. |
Serena turns around and sees a beautiful 17-year old
ASIAN GIRL. |
ASIAN GIRL
(holding her hand
out)
Raye Hino. |
Serena, puzzled, shakes Raye's hand- |
SERENA
Serena Sylvan. Something wrong? |
RAYE
Sure. You can't get a ride. Watch
this. |
Raye holds her hand up and waves for a taxi. Immediately,
one stops for her. |
SERENA
How did you do that!? |
7.
RAYE
(chuckling)
If you knew who my folks were,
you'd know the answer to that
already. |
Serena shrugs. Raye smiles- |
RAYE
Alrighty, then. Let us be on our
merry way. |
Serena follows Raye over to the taxi cab. |
INT. MISS HARRISON'S CLASSROOM - LATER |
Biology class has not yet begun as Serena walks in and
glances at her watch, looking around, a bit confused that
class hasn't started even though she's 15 minutes late.
She sees several students gathered around the television
set that sits on the lab table. She spots her friend
MOLLY, a cute red-headed 17-year old punk rocker, reading
SEVENTEEN magazine. |
Molly looks up from her magazine to see Serena standing
next to her, then glances at her watch- |
MOLLY
Dude, you are so lucky Miss
Harrison's running late herself.
You so would've been counted
tardy. |
SERENA
I know, I know. I woke up right at
8:00. |
MOLLY
And you got here in fifteen
minutes? |
SERENA
Actually, I got a ride. Do you
know Raye Hino? |
MOLLY
Um, no. But I've heard of the last
name, though. The Hinos own
everything out here. |
8.
SERENA
Seriously? She mentioned that she
had parents that were really
important. |
MOLLY
Oh yeah. Where'd you meet her? |
SERENA
On the way down here. She got me a
ride.
(looks up at the TV watchers)
Hey, what are they watching over
there? |
Molly shrugs- |
MOLLY
Why don't you go check it out? |
Serena makes her way over to the group. They're watching
FOX NEWS, and a NASA SPOKESPERSON is being interviewed- |
NASA SPOKESPERSON (O.S.)
It really could just be a hoax,
but we've been tracking this
astroid for about ten
months now and we were finally
able get an idea of how fast it
was going. It's a lot faster than
any shuttle of ours, that's for
sure. |
The news coverage continues on in the background- |
SERENA
They're still talking about that
stupid astroid? |
The GIRL next to Serena looks over at her- |
GIRL
This is big news, Serena. That
thing could crash land into Earth. |
Serena chuckles and walks back to her seat- |
SERENA
They've been talking about that
thing for like 4 years now.
They're just trying to get
ratings. |
9.
Serena sits back down. Molly looks up at her and smiles. |
At that moment, MISS HARRISON, a pretty and sophisticated
lady in her early-30's walks in and sets her stuff down
on her desk. The students begin to take their seats. |
MISS HARRISON
Alright, ladies and gentlemen. I
know what you've all been waiting
for. Your tests. |
She picks up a stack of papers and starts to walk down
the aisles, handing the students back their tests. |
MOLLY
How'd you think you did? |
Serena shrugs uncomfortably- |
Miss Harrison walks over to Serena and Molly's desks and
hands them back their tests- |
MOLLY
Molly, OK. Serena...yeah, see for
yourself. |
Miss Harrison walks away as Serena sees her test score. A
failing 52%. |
SERENA
Ah man. Molly, what'd you get? |
Molly shows Serena her test score. 82%. Serena sighs with
jealousy- |
SERENA
What did you do, Molly? |
MOLLY
How about 'I studied'? |
Serena rolls her eyes at Molly- |
SERENA
Rub it in, why don't ya. |
Molly laughs. |
10.
INT. CRYSTAL ACADEMY - LECTURE HALL - MORNING |
The lecture hall is huge. It looks like one from a major
university. |
AMY, a shy but very pretty fair-skinned 18-year old
brunette with magnificent blue eyes, is sitting at her
seat as the classroom bell rings and all 90 students in
the lecture hall begin to get up to leave. Amy looks up
as her friend GREG, a handsome, but slightly nerdy 17-
year old, approaches her. She smiles- |
GREG
Yeah. Um, uh....my dad wanted to
talk to you. |
AMY
Sure. You doing alright, though? |
GREG
Um. Y, yeah. What about you? |
AMY
I'm good....I'm good. |
They stare at each other for a second as they smile at
each other. |
GREG
W, well, I'll see you later, OK? |
Greg walks away. Amy picks up her backpack next to her
seat, gets up and makes her way through the students over
to the professor, DR. MCCORMICK, a polite looking man in
his mid-40's. He turns around to face her- |
DR. MCCORMICK
Amy. Yes, I needed to talk to you. |
AMY
Yeah, your son sent me over.
What's going on, Dr. McCormick? |
11.
DR. MCCORMICK
Oh, nothing at all. It's just that
I've never had a student who was
so difficult to keep challenged.
Are you sure you're not bored with
this course, Amy? |
Amy laughs with flattery- |
AMY
Of course not. I've learned more
here than I've learned just about
anywhere, so... |
DR. MCCORMICK
Well that's good to know. It's
just that usually when students
come here they'll have at least
some trouble. I mean, you're at a
school for the gifted, Amy,
undergoing the toughest curriculum
we offer, yet still without even
breaking a sweat. |
AMY
(chuckles with
embarrassment)
Well, I can assure you that
Crystal Academy's probably the
best thing that's ever happened to
me. I get to study under a Nobel
Prize winning scientist who
invented the world's first
frequency amplification system.
What more could a girl ask for? |
DR. MCCORMICK
Why, thank you, Amy. Are you still
hoping to pursue medicine? |
AMY
Yeah...I've pretty much got that
planned out, already. |
GREG (O.S.)
Any chance for a man in that
future, Amy? |
Amy turns around to face Greg, then smiles- |
12.
AMY
Let's hope so. I mean, after all,
I've never even been on a date
before! |
The three of them share a laugh. |
INT. CROSSROADS HIGH - SCHOOL HALLWAY - LATER |
Students are walking down the hallway on their way to
their next class. Molly and Serena are walking together- |
SERENA
No, but really, I just don't think
Mom's gonna be that upset. She's
used to me failing. |
MOLLY
Aren't you still grounded? |
QUEEN SERENITY
(sighs)
Pretty much 'till Hell decides it
wants to freeze over. |
GIRL (O.S.)
Hey, Sylvan. Baker. |
They turn around and see MINA, the hot, snooty popular
blonde, 18, along with her "entourage". |
Mina and her clique walks up to them- |
MOLLY
(sarcastically)
Wow. Mina Lawrence talking to us? |
MINA
Look, ladies. I just wanted to let
you know that Andrew Jenkins is
holding a little get together at
his place tonight. He insisted
that I let you two know about
it. |
SERENA
So we were invited? Nice. |
Mina rolls her eyes- |
13.
MINA
Yeah, well he said he'd be
disappointed if I didn't tell you
guys about it. |
MOLLY
(smiling)
Well, we'll be happy to be there.
Just to piss you off, Mina. |
Mina throws them a catty smile- |
MINA
Andrew's a college guy so there's
going to be college people there.
I would advise that y'all just
save yourselves the embarrassment
and take a rain check. 'Kay? |
Mina and her crew walks away. |
MOLLY
Don't worry about that girl,
Serena. |
SERENA
(sighing)
Mina Lawrence is the furthest
thing from my mind right now,
Molly. |
Serena shows Molly her failing test again- |
SERENA
Mom is gonna kill me. |
MOLLY
I thought you said she wouldn't be
that mad. |
SERENA
Something tells me I was wrong... |
14.
INT. SERENA'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - AFTERNOON |
Typical lower middle-class living room setting. Serena is
sitting on the couch. Her mother, standing in front of
her, is looking over the test. She sighs with
disappointment. |
SERENA'S MOTHER
I honestly don't know what to say,
Serena. Didn't Molly give you her
study notes to use? |
SERENA
I'm sorry, Mom. I'll do better
next time. I promise. |
SERENA
You "promise" just about every
time you bring a failing test
home, Serena, which is almost all
the time. What's wrong with
you!? Have you not been taking
your Adoral? |
SERENA
Mom, please. You know I'm not good
at Biology. |
SERENA'S MOTHER
You're just lazy, Serena. |
Serena sighs with regret- |
SERENA'S MOTHER
I can't say that I'm surprised
though. |
SERENA
(sighs)
Not again... |
SERENA'S MOTHER
Failure from you doesn't surprise
me. I bet your biological parents
were failures, too. |
Serena hangs her head down- |
15.
SERENA
Mom, I don't even know who my
biological parents are, so how
could you? |
SERENA'S MOTHER
(getting more
worked up)
No, Serena. I swear to God,
sometimes I just wish you didn't
turn out the way you did! |
SERENA
(calmly)
How much booze was it today, Mom? |
SERENA'S MOTHER
Forget it!! |
Serena's mother balds the test up, angrily THROWS it at
Serena and STORMS upstairs to her bedroom. SLAMS the
door. |
Serena sees an almost empty bottle of Jim Bean sitting on
top of the TV. She sighs, gets up and walks over to the
bottle and tosses it into the trash can. |
MOLLY (V.O.)
That much damage? |
INT. MOLLY'S CAR - LATER |
Molly is driving. Serena's in the passenger seat. Heavy
traffic- |
SERENA
(emotionless)
Yeah. That much. |
MOLLY
And this doesn't surprise you? |
Serena shakes her head- |
SERENA
That's just the way it is, Moll.
That's the way she's always been. |
MOLLY
Do you think that her behavior has
an effect on your study habits? |
16.
SERENA
I need to apply myself, but it's
like...something's missing. |
MOLLY
Are you not motivated? I mean,
what do you want to do with your
life, Serena? |
SERENA
I honestly don't think it matters,
Moll. |
EXT. STREETS - WINDOW SHOPPING AREA - LATER |
Eclectic neighborhood. Street artists painting pictures.
Cool Restaurants and little shops. Serena and Molly are
walking together- |
SERENA
But what's the point of applying
myself or "studying my butt off"
if I'm just going to fail anyway? |
MOLLY
Why do you think you're
automatically destined for
failure, Serena? What, 'cause your
mother said so? |
They stop walking- |
MOLLY
Serena. You don't believe
everything your mother tells you,
don't you? |
Serena sighs, then looks up ahead. Her face suddenly
lights up- |
Serena sees a BLACK STRAY CAT sitting next to a dumpster
with a band-aid on it's forehead. Molly sighs and rolls
her eyes. Serena moves over to the cat and picks it up- |
17.
SERENA
Awww. Isn't it cute? |
MOLLY
What's up with the band-aid? |
SERENA
I don't know, maybe it has a scar
or something, I don't know. Its a
cute cat, though. |
Molly laughs. The cat meows. |
MOLLY
Hey Serena. That party at
Andrews...I was actually thinkin'
about crashin'. |
Serena looks up at Molly and grins. |
INT. ANDREW'S TWO-BEDROOM APARTMENT - NIGHT |
College kids socializing. Music playing in the
background. A few kids playing pool on Andrew's pool
table. Pizza boxes on the couch. Serena and Molly are
sitting and talking amongst themselves at a small table. |
ANDREW, a handsome 21-year old blonde-haired college
student, walks over to them and joins them- |
ANDREW
You guys having fun? |
SERENA
Oh yeah. This is nice, Andrew.
How've you been, by the way? |
ANDREW
Pretty good. Starting a new job,
hence, the little celebration. |
Serena looks past Andrew and sees Raye sitting on the
couch, talking with two other girls; Amy and a TALL,
ATHLETIC HOTTIE with a touch of bad-girl charm- |
SERENA
Hang on one sec, guys. |
Serena gets up and walks over to them. |
18.
SERENA
Raye. Hi, it's me. |
Raye looks up and smiles- |
RAYE
Oh yeah. Serena, right? |
SERENA
Yeah. I didn't know you knew
Andrew. |
RAYE
I know everybody, Serena.
Especially if they're as cute as
that guy. |
Raye points over to DARIEN, a good-looking 20-year old
college student with dark brown hair, talking to some
friends of his over by the door. Serena rolls her eyes- |
SERENA
Darien Centers. Get to know 'em.
He's a jackass. |
Raye laughs. She looks over at Amy- |
RAYE
Amy, this is Serena. Serena, Amy. |
Serena and Amy shake hands. |
AMY
Nice to meet you, Serena. |
ATHLETIC HOTTIE
I'm Lita. |
Lita holds out her hand. Serena shakes her hand. |
SERENA
Hey guys. I'll talk to you later,
OK? |
19.
AMY
Yeah, go right ahead. |
Serena walks back over to the table with Molly and
Andrew. The two of them are talking amongst themselves,
then look up with concern at Serena as she sits back
down. |
ANDREW
I'm sorry, Serena. |
ANDREW
Molly told me about that test
grade. That sucks, man. |
SERENA
Yeah. And what's really bad is
that poor Molly here gave me all
of her study notes and I didn't
even bother to look at them once. |
Molly pats Serena on the back- |
MOLLY
Hey, don't worry about that, OK,
Serena? We're gonna study really
hard and do great next time,
right? |
Serena says nothing. |
ANDREW
Serena, have you talked to Amy? |
SERENA
Actually, I just met her. |
ANDREW
Maybe you can get her to tutor
you. You know she goes to Crystal
Academy, right? |
MOLLY
Holy crap, you mean that school
for the gifted? |
SERENA
Guys, really. Can we talk about
something else? |
20.
At that moment, Darien walks up to their table and clamps
his hand down on Andrew's shoulder- |
Andrew turns around- |
ANDREW
Darien, man. What's up? |
Darien looks over at Serena. |
DARIEN
Well hi there, blondie! |
Serena sighs- |
SERENA
(uninspired)
Hi, Darien. |
DARIEN
I heard about that "F" you got. |
Serena looks down in shame- |
DARIEN
Didn't Molly give you all of her
study notes and you didn't even
look at them?
(looks over at Molly)
Maybe you oughta start seeking out
some new friends, Molly. |
DARIEN
No. Seriously. The girl just takes
advantage of you. |
SERENA
Darien. Shut up. I'm not in the
mood. |
DARIEN
Neither am I. I just don't
understand why people like you
think that they're entitled to the
same level of respect that people
like ME get. |
21.
ANDREW
Darien, calm down, man. |
But Darien only gets louder- |
DARIEN
No. OK, I have my 3.8 because I
work my ass off. I'm dyslexic AND
grew up poor. Serena has a lot
more going on for her than I ever
did, yet she does nothing
with it! |
At this point, Darien is so loud that others start to
look over, including Raye, Amy, and Lita. Somebody turns
the music down. |
SERENA
(sadly)
You're right, Darien. You are. But
-- |
DARIEN
But! But! But! Stop it! I just
don't like people like you,
Serena. People like me think
people like you are chumps. |
Serena BOLTS up from her seat- |
SERENA
Darien, please, just stop, OK!? |
The whole apartment is quiet- |
SERENA
Look, I, I just need to find the
motivation to -- |
DARIEN
Motivation!? How about you failing
out of school and living in your
mother's house 'till your 30!?
That motivation enough!? |
SERENA
Darien, you don't understand. |
DARIEN
I understand. You're just beyond
hope, Serena. |
22.
Serena's mouth opens wide with shock. A tear rolls down
her cheek. She looks over at Molly- |
MOLLY
Um, Serena. Are you sure? |
Serena begins actually crying. People are whispering
amongst themselves in reaction to the drama. Molly picks
up her purse and gets up from her seat. She and Serena
begin to walk out of the apartment. Andrew still looks to
be in shock- |

INT. MOLLY'S CAR - NIGHT (FLASHBACK) |

spilled coke on the neighbors'

out, she said it again: 'You're

SERENA
Now it's Darien. Look, Molly, a

No it doesn't, Serena. |

A cat's meow is then heard outside her window- |
She gets out of the bed and looks around. She sees
through the window the same cat she had seen earlier, now
sitting on her windowsill, band-aid still tacked onto its
forehead. It meows. Serena gasps and opens the window. |
SERENA
Oh my God, you're the same kitty I
saw earlier today! |
She picks the cat up. It meows again. She squints with
curiosity at the band-aid. |
She slowly lifts the band-aid off. Underneath, there is a
shiny gold mark shaped like an upside down crescent moon
on the cat's forehead. |

Wow...who was hiding this? |

RAYE
So that's what you'll do, right,
Amy? There's something I like
about that girl. |
AMY
(laughing)
She really does seem like she
needs help, though, Raye. Next
time I see her, I'll be sure to
tell her that I'll tutor her
if she wants. |
LITA
Yeah, but Darien was kind of a
jerk to her, though. |

RAYE
(chuckling)
That dude's a jerk to just about
everybody, Lita. |

NASA SPOKESPERSON
Well, I don't think that right now
there's anything to worry about.
We think that it'll just pass by

of what you're hearing about an

Men are working at the seaport on a windy night. A boat

Serena quickly opens her eyes, lying still in her bed.
Besides birds chirping faintly from outside, there is
dead silence. The cat is sleeping next to her. Serena
slowly sits up. The cat slowly wakes up as well and
meows. Serena's voice, still a bit hoarse from sleep- |

Serena is sitting on the bed, watching the cat drink milk

I still don't know what I'm gonna

just calling you "kitty". I know
you're a female.
(sighs)
Hmm...Well, judging by the
moon-shaped spot on your
head...hm...I'll call
you...uh...I'll call you Luna! |
The cat looks up at Serena and meows. |
SERENA
Yeah! That works, doesn't it? |

The cat meows again, then continues drinking the milk. |

Yeah, you like that, don't 'cha
Luna? That's your name, now.
Hopefully, when Mom and I go

FEMALE REPORTER (O.S.)
But right now, authorities are
still concerned with whether or
not this object that crashed into

SERENA

I swear that was in my

She turns the news coverage down and looks over at Luna,
who almost seems to be watching intently- |
SERENA
Goodness, Luna. You seem to be
understanding what's going on more
than I do. You sure you a cat and
not a human? |

Luna looks over at Serena and stares at her. A piercing
stare. Serena moves away from the cat and looks at her,
uncertain- |

SERENA
W, wow...what? What's wrong, Luna? |

Luna bows her head, then looks back up at Serena. A
piercing, focused stare. |

A tense beat passes as Luna continues to stare at Serena.
Serena's breath shortens. Luna takes a step closer to her- |

Serena JUMPS out of bed with shock. |
SERENA
(panting)
Oh my God!! OK, I swear I did not
just hear you talk! |

Luna bows her head again. This is the same Luna that
appeared in the prologue, except now in the form of a cat- |

LUNA
I'm not from this world, Serena. |

Serena backs away from Luna even more- |

SERENA
Oh...g, God...h, how...y,

A look of alarm flashes across Serena's face as if
something has just dawned on her. She begins to move

SERENA
(hysterical)
You're....you're an alien that's
come to get us, are you!? Huh!? I
knew there was something up with
that astroid! My God! |

SERENA
Yeah. You kinda did. That's where
I recognize your voice from. |
Serena sighs, calms down and sits on the floor in front
of Luna, shaking her head as if she were going to have
trouble getting used to all of this- |
SERENA
A talking cat...in my bedroom.
This is just insane, I -- |
LUNA
There will be an invasion, Serena.
It will be the most catastrophic
event in the history of mankind. I
have been sent here to tell you of
the coming threat that will soon
make itself known to every being

SERENA
Invasion? You're a
cat....talking... |

LUNA
I chose to manifest myself in the
body of a stray cat, yes. So that
I could search for whom I was to
find without persecution or
suspicion; so that I could
go unnoticed. But my true form is
that of a human being, just like
you, Serena. Therefore, you need
not be afraid of me. |

Queen Beryl. |

SERENA
The Dark Kingdom? Queen Beryl? But

Serena looks over at the TV and sighs- |

SERENA
Well, what do you want me to do
about it, Luna? |
Luna motions over to Serena's pillow. |
LUNA
Look under your pillow, Serena. |

Serena walks over to her pillow, lifts it up and sees a
golden locket. She reaches over and picks it up- |

SERENA
Oh my God, this is beautiful. What

LUNA
That brooch will grant you very
special powers necessary to defeat
what is coming. Use it only when
you have to. |

SERENA
(looking at the
brooch)
This just seems like a little much

34.

LUNA
I understand, Serena. But this is
your destiny. The incredible power

women will posses is the only hope
this earth has left. |

Serena looks up from the brooch over at Luna- |

LUNA
Yes, Serena, there are others. But
we will find them later. For the

Serena sets the locket back down onto her bed, reaches

upside down crescent-moon symbol the size of a quarter
begins to glow on the center of her forehead. Luna
watches, nodding assuredly. Serena moans, dropping the
brooch. She lifts her head up as her tiara forms onto her
head from the moon symbol. Once the tiara is formed, the
moon symbol no longer shines, but makes up the golden
centerpiece of her tiara. |
The wind continues to BLOW, blowing her long blonde hair
back as it begins TWISTING into the iconic "odango", as
if the hard wind were styling her hair. Her pupils
DILATE, the electricity stops, and she stands up and
looks down at Luna, no longer shaking or scared, but
focused. The two red orbs appear at the knots of Serena's
hair, light up, then die down. The wind is still blowing
very hard. Luna looks up at Serena. Serena bravely looks
38.
out the window. Her pajamas BLOW off her body, revealing
her SAILOR MOON uniform underneath! |
Serena, now Sailor Moon, looks at Luna, focused. |
SAILOR MOON
(calmly)
I'm ready... |
She JUMPS out the window. Luna follows- |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - LATER |
A HELICOPTER
is flying overhead.
THE GARGOYLE
turns around toward a building and PUNCHES into it. It
SHRIEKS.
The military personnel seems to be weakening its attack,
almost seemingly getting to the point of giving up.
TWO INFANTRYMEN
are hiding behind the tank, yelling on their walkietalkies- |
INFANTRYMAN #1
Get the fire department down here,
now!! |
INFANTRYMAN #2
We've got to get these people out
of here! |
EXT. SERENA'S NEIGHBORHOOD - MOMENTS LATER |
A fire truck speeds down the suburban street. Right as it
goes under a tree, Sailor Moon, with Luna on her
shoulder, jumps down onto the back of the fire truck from
the tree- |
39.
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - MOMENTS LATER |
THE GARGOYLE
begins to move around as the firing from the military
personnel continues. After a loud SHRIEK, it flies
vertically until it gets high enough to land on the roof
of a small building. It lands on the roof, but its weight
causes the building to give way. The building begins to
COLLAPSE along with the gargoyle. People SCREAM loudly
and the military stops their fire, looking with concern
over the safety of the people in the building- |
FOX NEWS - CONTINUOUS
FOOTAGE OF THE ATTACK -- Smoke and dust cloud the
skyline, making it difficult for viewers at home to see
what's going on. The gargoyle lands on it's feet but the
building completely collapses into a mass of rubble,
smoke, dust, and fire- |
ANCHORMAN (V.O.)
...and I have never in all my
years of doing this, seen such a
disaster in all my life. Somebody
seriously needs to get some help
out there. They need more
personnel. I'm starting to think
they need some type of advanced
weaponry or something. This is
just catastrophic! |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - BACK ALLEY - CONTINUOUS |
SAILOR MOON
is RUNNING to the scene of the attack! Luna is following
her. They stop and look up as the large gargoyle comes
into view- |
LUNA
Sailor Moon! Are you ready!? |
SAILOR MOON
As ready as I'll ever be! |
She looks around and sees a fire escape to her right. She
runs up the fire escape- |
40.
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - CONTINUOUS |
THE GARGOYLE
is standing, looking around, getting shot at, wailing
it's arms around and shaking off gunfire. Several fire
trucks have arrived on the scene. Firemen are seen
spraying their hoses up into a cloud of black smoke
billowing out from the rubble of the destroyed building.
It shrieks loudly again.
SAILOR MOON
is then seen on the roof of the building next to the one
that collapsed. Two firemen look up at her- |
FIREFIGHTER
Hey, young lady!! Get down from
there! This is not safe! |
Sailor Moon looks down at the monster- |
SAILOR MOON
Hey! You've got company! |
The monster looks up at Sailor Moon. Luna is standing
next to her- |
LUNA
Sailor Moon, you're going to have
to attack! |
THE GARGOYLE
growls and turns toward Sailor Moon.
THE TWO FIREMEN
look at each other, dumbfounded. One of them shrugs.
SAILOR MOON
moves closer to the edge of the roof, focusing on the
monster as it shrieks loudly at her. |
FIREFIGHTER
What the hell are you doing!?
You're gonna get yourself killed!
Get down from there! This isn't a
joke! |
THE GARGOYLE
41.
FLIES up toward Sailor Moon, but she JUMPS several feet
into the air, flipping forward and LANDING midair onto
the monster's back! |
LUNA
Be careful, Sailor Moon!! |
SAILOR MOON
TUGS at the gargoyle as it shrieks again.
Military personnel are staring in amazement- |
INFANTRYMAN #1
Who in the world is that? |
INFANTRYMAN #2
Couldn't tell ya... |
THE GARGOYLE
eventually begins to fall to the ground, TUMBLING at 180
degrees with Sailor Moon still hanging onto its back!
BOOM! It happens to LAND right on its feet and tries to
shake Sailor Moon off its back, but she hangs on for dear
life! She starts PUNCHING down onto it, causing it to
SHRIEK in pain!
Onlookers "aww" as her attacks seem to be doing more
damage than the entire military personnel's gunfire— |
INFANTRYMAN #1
We gotta find out more about that
girl. |
The infantryman gets on his walkie-talkie- |
INFANTRYMAN #1
Get a helicopter up there, now! |
SAILOR MOON
punches onto the monster again, causing it to SHAKE and
growl.
The monster violently SHAKES again, causing Sailor Moon
to lose her grip. The monster reaches for her on its
back, grabs her, and THROWS her to its left- |
42.
INT. OFFICE BUILDING - CONTINUOUS |
The wall of windows facing downtown Houston SHATTERS as
Sailor Moon is THROWN into the building and HITS the
ground! She's in a Convergys call center. The place is
empty - Chairs and computers are strewn all over the
floor, looking as if everyone had evacuated frantically,
quickly and violently. |
LUNA
is seen jumping over the broken glass shards from outside
and moves over to the fallen Sailor Moon. The monster can
be seen outside the now broken window, looking down at
them and growling- |
LUNA
Sailor Moon! You can't give up
now! You can do it! |
Sailor Moon struggles to get up. She arises to a kneel
and looks up at the monster- |
SAILOR MOON
Yeah, you're right, Luna... |
Sailor Moon slowly gets up and runs back toward the
monster- |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - CONTINUOUS |
She comes out of the building. The people seem to cheer
her on as she looks back up at the gargoyle. Luna catches
up with her and looks up at the monster as well- |
LUNA
(harsh whisper)
Sailor Moon...your tiara! |
Sailor Moon glances down at Luna- |
LUNA
Finish him off with your tiara! It
is a lethal weapon! |
The monster growls- |
SAILOR MOON
My tiara...Gotcha, Luna! |
43.
THE GARGOYLE
immediately LUNGES at Sailor Moon but she ninja rolls out
of the way, causing it to hit a fire truck instead.
THE FIRE TRUCK
tips over and falls onto its side.
SAILOR MOON
kneeling, grabs her tiara and removes it from her head. A
FLASH of light HITS the tiara as if the sun reflected on
it hard -- it's now a shiny, golden boomerang. Her pupils
dilate even more to give her better sight. She THROWS the
boomerang and HITS the monster, a violent EXPLOSION of
LIGHT upon contact, as if it were hit by a flash-bang
grenade and not a boomerang. The monster WAILS in pain
from the attack! The crowd watches in awe. As the
boomerang moves past the monster, Sailor Moon is in the
air, catches the thrown boomerang and THROWS it again
down from mid-air, HITTING the monster once more! The
monster continues WRITHING in pain! As the boomerang
moves past the monster down toward the ground, Sailor
Moon, now back on ground, catches it! The monster WRITHES
in pain after this until it takes its final breath,
FALLING to the ground to its death.
A FLASH of light hits the boomerang again and it's gone.
With another FLASH of light on Sailor Moon's head, the
tiara is back on her head. She looks over at Luna who is
running up to her and stops next to her. |
SAILOR MOON
I did it, Luna! |
The crowd immediately starts applauding. People taking
pictures, many with their cell phones. Sailor Moon looks
at Luna as news crews start trying to approach her. |
ON TOP OF A BUILDING
A MAN in an all-black suit, black trench coat, white
gloves, and what looks to be a thick white headband tied
around his eyes with small holes cut out for sight,
holding a unique black pistol with a TWO-FOOT LONG
BARREL, staring down at Sailor Moon. His trench coat
blows in the wind. He looks mysterious. Dangerous. Sailor
Moon is looking up at him. |
LUNA
Sailor Moon, let's go... |
44.
Sailor Moon throws Luna onto her shoulder and finds an
open route to a back alley and makes a run for it. |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - BACK ALLEY - CONTINUOUS |
Crowds of people are trying to follow Sailor Moon as she
runs down the alley. She turns and heads down another
alley to her left, JUMPS up to the balcony of a deserted
apartment and runs inside. |
EXT. HOUSTON GENERAL HOSPITAL - ESTABLISHING - EVENING |
Visitors are walking in an out of the Emergency Room. |
INT. HOSPITAL WARD - EVENING |
Molly is unconscious in her hospital bed. She's hooked up
to an IV and has tubes up her nose. She looks bruised and
pale. Serena is looking down at her. Tired. Confused.
Stressed. She leans over and gently kisses Molly on the
forehead. |
EXT. STREETS - WINDOW SHOPPING AREA - LATER |
Serena is walking down the sidewalk. |
RAYE (O.S.)
Tell me why it is I keep running
into you. |
Serena turns around quickly, as if shocked, and sees that
it's Raye and Amy. Serena sighs with relief but doesn't
at all look to be in a talkative mood- |
The two walk over to her. Raye looks at Amy and smiles. |
AMY
Serena, listen. The flood
destroyed my school so I'm going
to be finishing up at yours. I
know this may seem a little
forward, but um,
(handing Serena a piece of
paper)
here's my phone number. I want to
help you study for your next test. |
45.
Serena looks down at the piece of paper, looks up and
forces a smile at Amy- |
SERENA
I appreciate the offer, Amy, but
-- |
RAYE
Serena, she's the smartest girl
you know. I guarantee it. |
SERENA
I'm sure, Raye, but -- |
Raye is so pushy. Amy looks down in a bit of
embarrassment. |
AMY
Don't worry about it, Raye. No
need to push the issue. |
SERENA
Look, you guys are really sweet,
but I don't...really need to talk
about anything like this at the
moment. |
Serena begins to walk away from them. Raye and Amy look
at each other blankly. Raye looks back up at Serena as
she walks away- |
RAYE
Is there something you want to
talk about, Serena? |
Serena turns around- |
SERENA
(everything isn't
fine)
Everything's fine, really. But
thanks anyway. I'll see you at
school tomorrow, Amy. |
Serena walks away. The girls look at each other again.
Cell phone rings, then- |
46.
INT. SERENA'S HOUSE - SERENA'S BEDROOM - MORNING |
Serena is awakened by her cell phone ringing. She
groggily leans over to her nightstand and picks it up. |
Darien is driving Serena to school. |
QUEEN SERENITY
(emotionless)
Thanks. |
DARIEN
No problem, Serena. Um, look, I
just want to apologize for Friday
night. |
Serena says nothing. |
DARIEN
I'm really sorry, Serena. I, I
think I, um... |
Serena looks over at him. |
DARIEN
Serena, there's something I have
to tell you. |
Beat. Darien continues driving. |
SERENA
What is it, Darien? |
Darien swallows hard, then sighs- |
47.
Serena looks down nervously- |
DARIEN
Probably not what you want for me
to know. But I promise I won't
tell anybody. We can keep it our
little secret, OK? |
SERENA
(nervously)
What are you talking about,
Darien? |
DARIEN
Look. I feel horrible about how I
treated you Friday night. But I'll
say this: you were amazing
Saturday morning... |
Serena looks at him fearfully- |
SERENA
What are you talking about? |
DARIEN
I know. Sailor Moon. |
Serena shuts her eyes and sighs- |
SERENA
How on Earth did you find that
out, Darien? |
DARIEN
I was on my way to your neighbors'
house Saturday night, and I
overheard you talking to your cat
about being Sailor Moon, and it
was talking back. |
Serena leans back and sighs- |
48.
DARIEN
But like I said, it can be our
little secret, OK? |
SERENA
Um. Yeah....th, this is just...a
lot for me to -- |
DARIEN
I understand, Serena. It's cool.
It's cool, OK? |
Serena nods shyly. |
EXT. CROSSROADS HIGH - CAMPUS ENTRANCE - AFTERNOON |
Serena is sitting outside after school on the stairs of
the campus entrance, alone, reading the Sailor Moon
article in the Houston Chronicle. Two girls walk by on
the street, reading the same article, talking amongst
themselves as Serena overhears them- |
GIRL
Dude, that Sailor Moon girl was
awesome. |
Serena looks up and smiles at the girls. The girls stop
and look up over at Serena- |
GIRL
Your makeup's running. You need to
like, go home. |
The girls continue onward, talking amongst themselves- |
INT. SERENA'S HOUSE - SERENA'S BEDROOM - NIGHT |
Serena is sitting on her bed with Luna, sadly staring at
her brooch- |
LUNA
Is everything alright, Serena? |
SERENA
Do you have any idea how much my
life should've changed, Luna? |
LUNA
I think I have an idea, Serena. I
understand that all of this is
going to take some getting used
to, but -- |
49.
SERENA
All I've ever wanted was for
people to respect me. I just
wanted to be useful to somebody. |
LUNA
And you certainly are. Because of
you, many lives have been saved. |
SERENA
No. Because of Sailor Moon. |
LUNA
I'm not sure I follow. |
INT. MISS HARRISON'S CLASSROOM - MORNING (FLASHBACK) |
Serena is sitting in class working on an assignment. Miss
Harrison, wearing an "I Support Sailor Moon!" pin on her
blazer, walks by, looks down at Serena, rolls her eyes
and shakes her head. Kids begin laughing at her as if she
were the dumb blonde they've always known her as- |
SERENA (V.O.)
They love Sailor Moon. But since
they don't know any different, to
them, I'm just the same dumb lazy
blonde I always was. |
EXT. CROSSROADS HS - PARKING LOT - AFTERNOON (FLASHBACK) |
Serena is sitting on the sidewalk next to her backpack up
against a telephone pole, sadly staring at her brooch.
Some boys in the distance can be heard taunting her- |
BOY (O.S.)
Hey Serena! What's 2 + 2!? |
Serena looks up as she sees them walk away, giggling
amongst themselves- |
SERENA (V.O.)
It's a double life, Luna. No
matter how often I save them, I
have to face the same thing
everyday because I cannot tell
them who I really am. |
INT. SERENA'S MOTHER'S CAR - AFTERNOON (FLASHBACK) |
Serena's mother is driving her home from school- |
50.
SERENA'S MOTHER
They're talking about that hero on
the news. Isn't she amazing? |
SERENA
(uninspired)
Sure. |
SERENA'S MOTHER
C'mon, Serena. But then again, you
probably wouldn't know greatness
if it kicked you in your wide
butt. |
Serena leans back and sighs. |
SERENA (V.O.)
Do you have any idea how much
better my life would be if people
only knew? |
INT. SERENA'S HOUSE - SERENA'S BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS |
SERENA
Why do I have to keep something so
wonderful, such a gift, a secret? |
LUNA
I understand your situation. But
we cannot risk the public getting
involved, Serena. Authorities are
already looking for Sailor Moon.
You know they are.
(beat)
And if they find out who you
really are, they're going to take
you away for study. This world is
in danger, Serena, and you
cannot have any more distraction
than what is necessary. Please
understand. |
Serena sets the brooch down on her bed and sighs. |
INT. COFFEE SHOP - NIGHT |
The small coffee shop isn't busy at all. There's only one
other couple sitting far on the other side. The lighting
is dim and kind of romantic. Serena and Darien are
sitting at a booth table across from each other. Serena's
looking pretty in her cream colored turtleneck sweater
and blue jeans. |
51.
SERENA
This is really nice, Darien. It's
still a little new to me, the
thought of us actually talking and
not yelling at each other at the
top of our lungs. |
Darien laughs nervously- |
DARIEN
Listen, Serena, if you're not
comfortable with all this, I mean,
we can -- |
SERENA
No, this is actually pretty cool.
(pause)
So would you call this, like.....a
date? |
DARIEN
(nervously
laughing)
I don't know. Would you? |
SERENA
I don't know, Darien. I mean, you
called my house like 3 times to
get this set up. So, you tell me.
But I'm wondering, though...Why
have you been so nice to me,
lately? Besides the
whole...y'know. |
DARIEN
Serena, I think I might have
gotten you all wrong. |
EXT. TRENDY SHOPPING AREA - SIDEWALK - NIGHT |
Darien and Serena are walking down a trendy shopping area
close to downtown. City lights. A few cars going by.
Pretty autumn night. |
SERENA
So I'm not the girl you thought I
was? |
DARIEN
I just look at you differently,
that's all. |
52.
SERENA
Of course you would, Darien. I
look at myself differently now too
-- |
DARIEN
It's not just you being Sailor
Moon. |
SERENA
Yeah, my powers are pretty
impressive as well, I -- |
They stop walking. Serena faces him, a bit startled. |
SERENA
What's up, Darien? |
Darien nervously looks around, then at Serena. He
suddenly leans in and starts to kiss her. Surprised, She
pushes him off of her- |
SERENA
Darien! W, what's going on!? |
Darien nervously looks at Serena- |
SERENA
Just tried to kiss me. Darien,
just last week you wanted nothing
to do with me. |
DARIEN
Y, yeah, I know. But, but -- |
DARIEN
Serena, I'm sorry it was just
sudden. I couldn't help myself. I
wasn't thinking. I just, I just
don't see you the same way as I
did before and -- |
53.
Something clicks in Serena's mind, as if something has
just dawned on her again- |
SERENA
Wait a minute, I know what's going
on. |
SERENA
Of course! You're star-struck,
Darien! Or shall I say
"moon-struck" in your case? |
SERENA
Ever since I've known you, I've
been a loser to you. Now, the
minute you find out that I'm
Sailor Moon, all of a sudden
you're all over me. |
DARIEN
(defensively)
No, Serena, I -- |
SERENA
Don't worry about it, Darien. I
understand. |
DARIEN
Look, Serena, no, I -- |
SERENA
Darien, just take me home, OK?
We'll forget this whole thing ever
happened. We'll keep it between
you and me, just like the fact
that I'm Sailor Moon. |
Serena begins to walk onward. Darien goes after her |
DARIEN
Serena, please, wait. |
Serena stops and turns back to Darien- |
SERENA
Darien, take it from somebody who
knows: I am the exact same Serena
you've always known and hated.
54.
SERENA (cont'd)
Sailor Moon is a completely
different person, Darien. |
DARIEN
I understand, Serena. Please, let
me explain. |
Serena looks at him and shrugs. |
DARIEN
Look, you being Sailor Moon showed
me something. OK, do I think the
things you do are incredible?
Yeah. But that's not why I like
you, Serena. It's because I know
now that you aren't the lazy slob
I thought you were. You put your
life on the line for people when
you don't even have to. No lazy
slob can do that, Serena. Don't
you understand? |
Serena pauses and sighs- |
SERENA
You don't understand, Darien. You
just don't. It's the powers, it's
not me. It's...it's God, I don't
know. But it's not me. I'm not
Sailor Moon, Darien. |
She pulls her brooch out of her purse and shows it to
him. |
SERENA
When I became one with this power,
something came over me. It's
impossible for me to explain. It's
something that felt so amazing yet
so terrible at the same time. I
felt so good and strong and
vibrant, yet so terrified all at
once. Yeah, sure, I'm brave as can
be in that form, Darien, but it's
not me. I'm not Sailor Moon.
Sailor Moon is just what I became. |
55.
SERENA
So no. You've got it all wrong,
Darien. You just don't understand.
I'm sorry, but it would be
impossible for you to. So can
we just go home? |
Darien nods. Serena puts the brooch back into her purse,
turns and walks onward. Darien watches her as she walks away
from him. |
DARIEN
(to himself)
I understand better than you know,
Serena. |
He pulls out a black rose from his jacket and looks at
it, puts it back into his jacket, and proceeds to follow
Serena. |
INT. CROSSROADS HIGH - SCHOOL HALLWAY - MORNING |
In between classes. Serena is getting out of class and on
her way to her next. Other students on their way to
class. Serena makes it to her locker and begins to work
the combination. At that moment, Mina, alone, walks over
to Serena. Serena turns around but her brooch falls out
of her purse. Serena stiffens with unease. Mina pauses
and looks down at the brooch, slack-jawed. An awkward
beat passes, then Serena slowly kneels down to pick it up- |
SERENA
(nervously)
Oops. Dropped my makeup mirror.
You know how that is. |
Mina inhales and places her hand on her chest as if she
were receiving some very surprising news. Serena puts the
brooch back into her purse. |
MINA
(nervously)
Um, y, yeah. A, anyway, quite a
fall you took Friday night, huh? |
Serena sighs and continues on the combination lock. |
LITA (O.S.)
This girl isn't bothering you is
she, Serena? |
56.
Serena turns to see Lita approaching them. Mina turns
around. Lita makes it over to them and looks at Mina.
Mina nervously looks at Lita, then back at Serena- |
MINA
Look. I'm sorry about how I
treated you and Molly Friday
morning. Maybe you're not so bad
after all.
(looks over at Lita)
Hi, Lita. |
Lita and Serena look at each other with bewildered looks. |
MINA
Hey, how about you girls come hang
with us at lunch today. |
Serena throws Mina a look- |
SERENA
Why the sudden change of heart,
Mina? |
Mina sighs, starts to walk away from them, but then stops
and turns back around- |
MINA
Darien and I are pretty cool. He
talked to me about you. I guess I
just need to stop being so quick
to judge people before I get to
know them. Especially you, Serena. |
Serena looks suspiciously at Mina- |
SERENA
What exactly did he say about me,
Mina? |
INT. DARIEN'S CAR - AFTERNOON |
Darien is driving Serena home from school. |
SERENA
You didn't tell her anything, did
you? |
DARIEN
Tell her anything about what? |
57.
Serena throws a "duh" look at him- |
DARIEN
Oh no, not at all, Serena. Mina
and I aren't really even that
close. |
Beat. |
SERENA
So when are we gonna talk about
last night? |
DARIEN
(sighing)
Serena, you made your position
pretty clear, OK? Can we just
forget about that? |
Serena says nothing.
Darien turns the steering wheel and parallel parks
against the curb of the street. He cuts the car off. |
SERENA
What are you doing? |
DARIEN
Hang on, I gotta get Raye and the
others. |
SERENA
Doesn't Lita have a car? |
EXT. STREET CORNER - LATER |
Amy, Lita, and Raye are standing in front of Lita's broke
down car. The hood is up and smoke is billowing out. |
RAYE
What did you do to it, Lita? Geez. |
58.
AMY
D'you check the thermometer? |
Lita looks over at Amy and smiles- |
LITA
So that's what that is! |
The other two roll their eyes and laugh. |
INT. DARIEN'S CAR - LATER |
Darien is in the car with the girls driving down the
highway. Serena in the passenger seat. Amy, Raye, and
Lita in the back seat- |
LITA
I really appreciate the lift,
Darien. |
Serena laughs. |
DARIEN
No prob, Lita. Maybe that oughta
teach ya to start checking the
thermometer, eh? |
SERENA
How many miles were on that thing,
anyway? |
DARIEN
Why don't you have a car, Serena? |
SERENA
My mom wrecked it. |
59.
SERENA
She borrowed it for the weekend
one day and it pretty much never
came back. |
RAYE
My parents are so paranoid. They
won't let me drive 'till I'm in
college. |
AMY
Such unique stories. I simply just
can't afford one 'cause my mom's
too busy spending on herself. |
The girls laugh. Lita looks out the window and GASPS- |
TWO VICIOUS BLACK DRAGONS are seen flying over the
skyline in the distance! One BLOWS fire! Everyone in the
car in total panic! Serena frantically looks around- |
SERENA
(pointing ahead)
Darien! Take this exit! |
Darien glances at Serena and nods- |
LITA
What the hell are you thinking,
Serena!? |
AMY
Serena, that exit leads to
downtown! |
Darien JOLTS the wheel to the right. |
EXT. HIGHWAY - CONTINUOUS |
Darien's car ZIPS past another as it violently cuts into
the right hand lane. |
60.
INT. DARIEN'S CAR - CONTINUOUS |
RAYE
You're gonna get us killed,
Darien! Why on earth are you
listening to her!? |
DARIEN
(calmly)
Everything's handled, guys, don't
worry about it. |
OFF THE EXIT
Darien's car SCURRIES down the exit onto the avenue
leading to the downtown area.
DOWNTOWN
People are still running around. A dragon FLIES over an
office building, SHRIEKING loudly! At that, people are
looking up and furiously making their way inside
buildings! |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - CONTINUOUS |
CHAOS! People RUNNING around madly. Screaming. As for the
dragons, they aren't even in view yet- |
OFF THE EXIT
Darien's car SCURRIES down the exit onto the avenue
leading to the downtown area.
DOWNTOWN
People are still running around. A dragon FLIES over an
office building, SHRIEKING loudly! At that, people are
looking up and furiously making their way inside
buildings! |
INT. DARIEN'S CAR - CONTINUOUS |
SERENA
Darien! Stop the car! |
Darien SLAMS on the brake as the car comes to a HALT.
Serena quickly undoes her seat belt and BOLTS out the
car! The other girls stare in disbelief- |
AMY
What is that girl's problem!? |
61.
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - CONTINUOUS |
The dragon is FLYING around and suddenly BLOWS a massive
fireball. The fireball ZOOMS down toward the street as
several people DIVE out of the way! WHOOSH! It causes a
large area of pavement to go up in FLAMES, including two
taxi-cabs. |
DARIEN'S CAR
Amy, Lita, and Raye look to be in total SHOCK. Darien,
focused, grips the steering wheel, then looks over at the
other two- |
DARIEN
(getting out)
Stay here! I'll be right back! |
Door SLAMS. The girls look at each other with worry. |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - BACK ALLEY - CONTINUOUS |
An old woman is RUNNING for her life as the dragon is
following her! It SHRIEKS as it pursues her! Just when
it's about to SWOOP down and take its prey, a GOLDEN
CHAIN suddenly WHIPS around the dragon's body! It WAILS
LOUDLY in pain as the shiny golden chain binds its body
tight, causing the dragon to HIT the ground, groaning,
still bound by the chain. |
ON TOP OF A BUILDING
Mina, wearing a trench coat that covers her body, along
with a tiara that looks very similar to Sailor Moon's
except with the Venus astrological symbol rather than the
Moon symbol as the centerpiece, grappling the other end
of the long chain that made it all the way down to the
monster. Mina TUGS on the chain, TIGHTENING the grip on
the dragon as it WAILS in pain. The old woman looks up at
her. Mina smirks- |
MINA
You can pay me later. |
62.
The old lady sighs with relief, but still looks fearful. |
INT. DARIEN'S CAR - CONTINUOUS |
The girls look at each other terrified- |
AMY
Do you guys have any idea where
those two went!? |
Raye looks out the window- |
They see through the car window, Mina walking out the
back alleyway, dragging the dead dragon by the chain out
into the street. She lets the chain go and calmly walks
back into the dark alleyway, leaving the dead, chained up
dragon lying there. |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - CONTINUOUS |
The inhabitants of downtown Houston have now evacuated.
Not even police cars or military personnel present. The
girls step out of the car into the quiet street. They
look around. |
LITA
Looks like everybody got outta
here pretty quick, huh? |
A beat passes, then CRASH!! Another dragon BURSTS through
the windows of a skyscraper behind them, SHRIEKING,
headed straight for THEM! The girls SCREAM- |
CLOSE-UP ON THE BARREL OF A PISTOL
The gun FIRES!
The dragon SHRIEKS in pain, RAMS into another building
and HITS the ground! Dead. A black rose is STABBED stem
first into the dragon's neck. A little bit of smoke
steams out from the stabbing, as if it were still hot and
had just happened.
ON TOP OF ANOTHER BUILDING
We see the same man with the two-foot long pistol.
Standing. Staring down at his kill.
RAYE AND THE OTHERS
63.
are looking over at the instantly killed monster
fearfully, yet curiously, then looking up at the building
the gunshot came from. Nobody is there anymore. They look
back at each other. Shaking. |
They TURN around and see Luna hopping down from a pile of
rubble. The girls GASP. |
INT. PARKING GARAGE - CONTINUOUS |
Another dragon! Wings FLAPPING loudly! CHARGING at Sailor
Moon, whose standing in front of it head on! She DIVES
out of the way as the dragon CRASHES into a parked car!
The car tips over and falls onto it's side. Sailor Moon
removes her tiara -- WHOOSH! -- into a boomerang! The
dragon SHRIEKS and SOARS at her again! She THROWS the
boomerang! WHAM! The dragon is HIT! Sailor Moon CATCHES
the boomerang in mid-air and THROWS it down again as she
herself HITS the ground, landing on her side! The tiara
SLAMS into the dragon again, causing it to SHRIEK and
FALL flat onto its back! Dead. The boomerang flies back
into Sailor Moon's hand and FLASHES back onto her head as
her tiara. We see that she is at a high elevation in this
parking garage as she gets up and looks out to see the
man with the gun standing majestically on top of a nearby
building, level with her. She squints with curiosity. She
JUMPS out of the parking garage- |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - CONTINUOUS |
NEAR THE PARKING GARAGE
Serena, FALLING five stories from the parking garage,
LANDS hard on her feet. She looks around and begins to
run forward but then- WHAM!! Serena is HIT hard from
behind and COLLAPSES to the ground-
BLACK.
SAILOR MOON's POV on the one that struck her from behind.
It's a MAN in a trench coat. He is very pale and has dark
circles around his eyes. He has very messy, almost greasy
BLACK hair. He is also wearing a large back-scabbard with
what looks to contain a large sword. He has a dark and
evil voice- |
64.
MAN
Give up your fight, Sailor Moon.
Do you have any idea what we're
looking for? |
Sailor Moon is on the ground. She slowly turns over.
Weak. |
ZOISITE
You'll refer to me as Zoisite from
here on. I've only come here to
deliver an invitation to you. |
ZOISITE
Tell that little pussycat of yours
that we know where the crystal is. |
SAILOR MOON
What the hell are you talking
about? |
MINA (O.S.)
The Imperium Silver Crystal. |
Sailor Moon turns around and sees Mina walking toward the
two of them. Calmly. |
ZOISITE
Ah, Sailor Venus. |
Mina smiles confidently, holding up a brooch that looks
identical to Sailor Moon's- |
MINA
Yeah. I kinda go by both. Now
let's get down to business. |
Mina THROWS her trench coat off, revealing her SAILOR
VENUS uniform in full as she walks over to them. Sailor
Moon slowly arises, struggles her way into a fighting
65.
stance, and gives sort of a cocky smile toward Sailor
Venus- |
SAILOR MOON
I knew something was up with you. |
RAYE AND THE OTHERS
Next to Lita's car, holding brooches that look like
Serena's except silver. Examining them. Puzzled. Luna is
facing them. |
LITA
How did we get ourselves into
this? |
LUNA
This is a lot to digest, I know.
But you are the world's only
chance at life left! |
RAYE
I think it was hard enough for us
to get used to a talking stray
cat. What was your name again? |
ZOISITE
Smirks and looks at Sailor Moon and Venus.
RAYE AND THE OTHERS
Are continuing to study their brooches. |
AMY
Sailor Moon? Serena? I never would
have guessed that -- |
ZOISITE
Looks at Sailor Moon, then smiles. |
ZOISITE
I'm not here to fight you. At
least not today. I'm here to let
you know that we're giving you the
opportunity to save yourselves. |
Sailor Moon and Venus shrug at each other- |
ZOISITE
Join us. The people of this earth
are doomed either way. Look at
them and then look at us. We are
(MORE)

ZOISITE (cont'd)
superior to them! You know this! |
SAILOR MOON
We aren't like you, Zoisite. |
ZOISITE
You haven't even gotten to know
us, Sailor Moon. Don't you
understand that we're coming here
to help you!? |
SAILOR VENUS
Calm down, Sailor Moon, he's
trying to get to you. |
ZOISITE
Don't be a fool! This world hates
you both! They'll never understand
you the way we do. The people of
this earth know nothing about what
the two of you are capable of.
Your own mother sees you as
nothing more than a failure!
(looking over at Sailor
Venus)
And the people of this world see
you as nothing more than a sex
object, fitted for their viewing
pleasure. |
SAILOR MOON
(defensive)
Th, that's not true. |
SAILOR VENUS
Sailor Moon, you can't let him get
to you! |
Zoisite stands upright- |
ZOISITE
Consider the cost. Our kingdom
will soon come. Our astroid is
getting closer and closer each day
to Earth's orbit. |
Zoisite takes out two smoke pellets and THROWS them down
onto the ground in front of Sailor Moon and Venus. They
POP as they HIT the ground, creating a CLOUD of smoke as
the two young women HOP back, blinded by smoke. The two
of them COUGH in reaction, but see Zoisite is GONE.
67.
They look around cautiously with fear, then --
DRAGONS. Suddenly BURSTING out through skyscraper
windows! All around! Several of them! One right after the
other! Skyscraper after skyscraper! The two look around
frantically as this goes on. There's now like 8 of them
flying about 50 feet above them in a circle, SHRIEKING
loudly! |
SAILOR MOON
My God! Where are they coming
from!? |
RAYE AND THE OTHERS
Looking up into the sky with panic- |
LUNA
You have got to transform! Hurry! |
The girls look at each other and nod nervously. They open
the brooches. Wind begins to blow, blowing back their
hair. They look around in confusion- |
NEAR THE PARKING GARAGE
The wind blowing from the others' concurrent
transformation, helping to blow some of the smoke from
the smoke pellets away-
A dragon SWOOPS down, Venus and 'Moon DIVE out of the
way, opposite directions. The dragon lands on the ground,
then DIVES toward Sailor Venus! It RAMS into her,
knocking her on her back, but she KICKS it off her,
causing it to get THROWN past her, landing HARD on it's
back! Out of nowhere, another dragon SWOOPS down and
NAILS Sailor Moon in the back. She falls over, turns over
and KICKS it in the face! The dragon falls flat on it's
back! After that, she gets up and POUNCES on it but a
fireball FLIES down at her! She JUMPS out of the way as
the fireball hits the dragon she pounced on instead! It
WAILS in pain as it burns! The dragon that blew the
fireball CHARGES down at Sailor Moon, but-
POW!! The dragon is SHOT! A smoldering black rose now
stuck in it's neck. It HITS the ground. Dead. The man
with the pistol, who we'll be referring to from here on
as TUXEDO KAMEN, is back, now on top of the parking
garage. He JUMPS down the high structure and LANDS on his
feet. He calmly walks over to the others, pistol in hand.
68.
The two girls stare in awe. Sailor Moon is about to
speak, but the rest of the dragons in the sky suddenly
CHARGE DOWN at the three of them! All three of them
quickly try to move out the way but then --
BANG!! A blinding FLASH of white light ASSAULTS the
screen! Everyone's ears now RINGING. The whole area is
suddenly foggy because of a white MIST that's filled the
area.
ICY BUBBLES the size of soccer balls are floating around.
One bubble floats into a building and gently shatters
into icy pieces. The dragons are flying around
erratically and SHIVERING as bubbles shatter on their
scaly skin. SHRIEKING. BLINDED. Sailor Moon, Venus, and
Tuxedo Kamen look around nervously as the ringing fades
and their hearing and sight are restored. |
SAILOR VENUS
What the hell was that? |
The fog begins to clear, and we see Amy, adorned in her
SAILOR MERCURY uniform, walking calmly over to the three
of them. Sailor Moon and Venus GASP as she comes into
view. The dragons are flying away, SHRIEKING loudly. One
of them RAMS into a building and FALLS to the ground. The
others escape. The fog is still clearing up. Sailor
Mercury (Amy) stands in front of them. Tuxedo Kamen
stands there calmly, almost emotionless. |
SAILOR MOON
(still in shock)
Y, you're -- |
SAILOR MERCURY
Sailor Mercury. How'd you like my
handwork just now, Sailor Moon? |
Sailor Mercury walks over to Sailor Moon and holds her
hand out- |
SAILOR MERCURY
Call it coincidence, but we were
all here at once. It's me, Amy. |
SERENA
(looking around,
confused)
What are you talking about? |
Sailor Mercury puts her hand back. |
69.
SAILOR MARS (O.S.)
She's talking about the fact that
we've been given the same mission
as you now. |
Sailor Moon quickly turns around to face the voice she
just heard. It is Sailor Mars (Raye)- |
Sailor Mars walks up to her. Sailor Moon is staring in
disbelief- |
Sailor Moon starts looking around this way and that- |
SAILOR MOON
Raye!? Oh my God. W, where's Luna? |
Sailor Moon quickly turns around and sees Luna, whose
walking up to her along with Sailor Jupiter. Another look
of shock comes across Sailor Moon's face- |
SAILOR MOON
Luna? How did you -- |
SAILOR JUPITER
She sensed you were in need, so
she did just about everything she
could do to get here.
(looking down at Luna,
smiling)
Ain't that right, Luna? |
LUNA
Everything from jumping in the
back of moving pickup trucks, to
sneaking onto busses. None of them
allowed pets, by the way,
especially not stray cats. |
Sailor Jupiter laughs softly as they make it over to
Sailor Moon. |
70.
Sailor Jupiter smiles- |
Sailor Moon gasps excitedly- |
Sailor Venus walks over to Sailor Moon- |
SAILOR VENUS
So...what's up, Serena? |
Sailor Moon looks at Venus suspiciously- |
SAILOR MOON
So is that why you were being so
nice to me, Mina? |
Sailor Venus looks down and sighs- |
SAILOR VENUS
When I saw the brooch, I knew then
that there would be a time we
would have to work together. |
Sailor Moon smiles. The two of them shake hands. Sailor
Moon looks over at her new allies- |
SAILOR MOON
(gushing)
This is amazing, guys. |
But then she slowly looks over at Tuxedo Kamen, whose
been standing there the entire time watching them. The
others, along with Luna turn to face him, looking at him
with a bit of suspicion- |
SAILOR MOON
But who are you? |
Tuxedo Kamen walks over closer to them, points his pistol
into the sky and FIRES. The girls jump a bit in reaction. |
TUXEDO KAMEN
I'll be here for you when you need
me. Call me Tuxedo Kamen. |
71.
SAILOR MARS
Have we met before? Like, in real
life? |
The girls look at him curiously- |
TUXEDO KAMEN
This is real life, ladies. It will
only get more difficult. Like I
said before, I'll be here when you
need me. That is all. |
INT. SERENA'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - DAY |
The lights are off, the sunlight from outside provides
the light. Serena, Amy, and Lita are sitting on the floor
with Luna. |
SERENA
He called himself Zoisite, and he
made an open invitation for us to
join him. They must be targeting
us. |
LUNA
That explains why they've only
been attacking Houston. |
SERENA
He also said something about a
Crystal. |
LUNA
The Imperium Silver Crystal. That
must be what they've come for
then. |
LUNA
It is a powerful holy stone that's
been passed down from generation
to generation. |
RAYE
Where is it? What is it? |
LUNA
Only a very special woman has it,
and that is the heir to the throne
of the Silver Millennium. |
72.
EXT. SILVER MILLENNIUM - MORNING (FLASHBACK) |
AERIAL SHOT of the Silver Millennium skyline. |
LUNA (V.O.)
The Silver Millennium is an
ancient civilization that existed
long before written history. |
Then a shot of people walking down the bussling streets
in what seems to be futuristic garments. |
LUNA (V.O.)
This was a time where man was far
more evolved in civil engineering
than he is now, thus, creating a
utopia that far exceeds what is
currently capable in today's day
and age. |
INT. SILVER MILLENNIUM PALACE - THRONE RM. - DAY (FLASHBACK) |
Queen Serenity is sitting at her throne |
LUNA (V.O.)
The kingdom was ruled by the great
Queen Serenity. |
INT. SERENA'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS |
AMY
But if the kingdom is prehistoric,
how were they more advanced than
we are today? |
LUNA
The Imperium Silver Crystal, an
energy source so powerful that it
would put even the mythical
paradigm of Cold-Fusion to shame. |
INT. SLVR MILL. PALACE - MASTER BEDROOM - NIGHT (FLASHACK) |
Serenity, sitting on the bed of her bedroom, holding a
small wooden box. She opens the box and inside is the
small silver stone that was put in the capsule. |
73.
LUNA (V.O.)
That one stone powered every
machine, home, and computer in the
Silver Millennium. |
INT. SERENA'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS |
The girls chuckle softly -- |
SERENA
Computers? You're trying to tell
me that a prehistoric civilization
had computers? |
LUNA
Very much so. The kingdom was
destroyed down to the very bone,
along with the rest of the human
race with the exception of a mere
handful. Therefore, technology had
to start all over again as well. |
LITA
How did that happen? |
LUNA
The Dark Kingdom is how that
happened. |
The girls all look at each other, then back at Luna- |
LUNA
Luckily, Serenity was able to hide
the crystal away during the Dark
Kingdom's invasion, therefore they
were never able to find it.
However, by the time they left,
almost all human life on earth was
completely destroyed. |
AMY
All of this without a shred of
evidence? I never once learned
about this in history class. |
LUNA
When the Dark Kingdom destroys,
they do so fully, leaving not a
trace or scourge of their
destruction behind. You must
believe me, girls. They are here
to finish what they've started.
They failed to obtain the Silver
Crystal ten-thousand years ago.
74.
LUNA (cont'd)
The last thing they want to do is
fail again. |
SERENA
So you mean to tell me that the
last time they came down here they
destroyed an entire civilization
that was even more advanced than
ours!? What's going to stop them
from doing it again? |
Luna then looks at the girls, implying that it's going to
be them that stops the Dark Kingdom- |
RAYE
I guess that's where we come in,
right? |
The girls all look at each other nervously. |
LITA
Just how powerful is this Dark
Kingdom we're talking about, here? |
LUNA
They are possibly even stronger
than they were before. You've seen
what they can do. I promise you
that what you've seen from them so
far is only a fraction of what
would happen if that astroid were
to make it here. |
LITA
That's where the whole Dark
Kingdom resides, right? |
SERENA
Including their leader? Queen
Beryl? |
LUNA
Yes. We must find the heir to the
Silver Millennium throne. Only she
has possession of the Imperium
Silver Crystal: the only thing
that will stop the Dark Kingdom's
astroid from crash landing on
Earth. |
RAYE
The astroid. How big is it? |
75.
LUNA
It is 3 miles in diameter, enough
to cause considerable destruction.
However, the real danger will come
from those inhabitants of the
astroid. For they will do more
damage than the astroid itself.
The heir to the Silver Millennium
must be found before that happens. |
RAYE
Where do we even start? |
SERENA
I think we should wait for her to
come to us. We're bound to be all
over the news, so this person will
know where to find us. |
Luna nods. The girls look at each other again nervously. |
EXT. BEACH - NIGHT |
Serena and Darien are walking along the shore. Campfires
from others in the background provide a nice romantic
firelight. |
SERENA
Darien, you've been quiet this
whole time. Please, what's wrong? |
Beat. |
SERENA
So where did you end up going? |
DARIEN
Are you talking about when I
jumped out of the car like that? |
DARIEN
I was looking for you. |
76.
DARIEN
(nonchalantly)
Sure. You're Sailor Moon. You're
pretty easy to spot. |
Serena stops walking and looks over at Darien with a
tinge of disappointment, but then smiles- |
Serena sighs- |
SERENA
As Sailor Moon. Wasn't I amazing? |
Darien sighs and looks away, then back at her- |
SERENA
I'm getting a hunch that you'd
rather talk about something else. |
DARIEN
Look, Serena. We can talk about
whatever you want. I'll tell ya
what: we can talk about your
Sailor Moon stories over a nice
hot cup of cocoa, how about that? |
Serena's face falls- |
SERENA
Actually, Darien....I thought it
was you that wanted to talk about
it. 'Cause I thought you really
liked Sailor Moon. |
Darien touches her face- |
77.
DARIEN
(reassuringly)
Oh, I do, Serena. But I really
like the girl underneath. |
Serena removes his hand from her face and smiles
sheepishly- |
SERENA
Darien, we've been through this
already. |
Darien sighs. |
INT. LITA'S RENT-A-CAR - EVENING |
Lita is driving. Serena in the passenger seat with Luna
in her lap. Mina, Amy, and Raye are sitting in the back. |
SERENA
Isn't this such a change or what? |
AMY
I never imagined life like this. I
was supposed to go off to school
and become a doctor next year. Am
I still gonna be able to do that
now? |
RAYE
We'll still get to live out our
lives. It's just that this is
going to be a huge addition to
those lives. Particularly mine. |
LITA
(laughing)
C'mon, Raye, you grew up loaded.
You actually have a life, now. |
RAYE
Very funny, Lita. You're the one
who got kicked out of your old
school for fighting a teacher. |
Lita throws Raye a sly smile, then looks back at the road- |
LITA
Yeah...and I won, too. |
78.
SERENA
I forgot to mention, Lita. You
look real cute right now, driving
your little rental car. |
The girls laugh, but then- |
MINA
You guys are making a joke out of
this! |
Everyone immediately goes silent. |
MINA
Don't you guys understand what's
going on here? The entire planet's
about to go to waste and all y'all
can think about is how this is
affecting your "busy little
schedules"! |
The girls look at each other concerned. Lita sighs while
looking at the road. |
INT. IHOP RESTAURANT - NIGHT |
Serena and Mina are sitting across from each other at a
booth table eating. Mina's eating the "Big Country
Breakfast", Autumn6's favorite order ;). |
MINA
I just sometimes lose it like
that. I'm just really serious
about our mission, Serena. I don't
have a life outside of this like
you guys do. |
SERENA
I understand. So how long did you
know you were Sailor Venus? |
MINA
For a while, now. I didn't really
put myself out there like that,
y'know. |
79.
SERENA
Why didn't anybody ever hear about
you? |
MINA
I was an exchange student in
London before I moved here. I
fought under a government issued
code name. |
SERENA
You worked for the British
government? |
MINA
Sailor V. That was my code-name. I
basically went undercover and
handled the jobs the cops couldn't
handle. |
SERENA
Wow. But I'm curious. Why were you
such a stuck-up snob for so long
when you got to our school? Was it
just an act? |
MINA
Oh yeah. The best way you can see
a person's true colors is to anger
them. The "clique" that I hung
with were simply people I couldn't
trust. |
SERENA
(smiles)
You got it, Sister. |
They touch glasses. |
SERENA
So what brought you here to
Houston? |
MINA
Artemis told me that Luna had made
it here, so I booked a flight as
soon as I could. |
A puzzled look comes across Serena's face- |
80.
MINA
Artemis. My cat. He can talk just
like Luna can. |
MINA
He's still in London. They
wouldn't let him on the plane. |
MINA
A friend of mine is taking care of
him while I'm here. I'll
eventually go back and see him
every now and then. |
SERENA
Do your parents know? |
MINA
That I'm Sailor Venus? |
MINA
I don't really have a mom and a
dad at home. I have a legal
guardian, but yeah, she knows. |
MINA
We share everything, Serena. She's
the only person I can share
anything with. |
SERENA
What happened to your parents? |
MINA
My dad got shot before I was born,
and my mother didn't want me so
she threw me in a dumpster when I
was a newborn. |
Serena gasps- |
81.
SERENA
Oh Mina, I'm so sorry. |
QUEEN SERENITY
It was a long time ago, Serena.
It's cool. |
SERENA
So Artemis knows Luna? |
MINA
Oh yeah. They're really close. |
EXT. SERENA'S HOUSE - NIGHT |
Serena, Mina, Raye, and Luna are sitting outside at the
picnic table. |
LUNA
Artemis. He was in every way my
best friend. When I heard about
him not being able to come to
America, it killed me. |
RAYE
(to Mina)
So your legal guardian was a
woman. No father figure growing
up? |
MINA
Artemis was pretty much the only
father figure I've ever had. |
INT. SERENA'S HOUSE - SERENA'S BEDROOM - LATER |
Serena, Mina, Lita, Amy, Raye, and Luna are sitting
around in Serena's bedroom on the floor. Serena is
sitting on her bed with Luna. |
LITA
I understand what not having a
father is like. I mean, at least I
understand what having a father
that beats the hell out of you
every night when he shows up
trashed is like. |
AMY
Your father beat you, Lita? |
82.
LITA
Yeah. He did. But it's OK now, I
live with foster parents. |
SERENA
Do you think that, y'know -- |
LITA
I know what you're gonna ask. Look
girls, I'm really not violent, I
promise. OK, I got into one fight,
but -- |
SERENA
That's not what I said, Lita. |
LITA
But that's what you meant. I've
made several mistakes in my life
but I've learned from them. I'm
just tired of being labeled all
the time. |
SERENA
Lita, believe me. I understand
what being labeled feels like.
People always label me as the dumb
girl. The dumb blonde who never
applies herself. |
AMY
Serena, maybe once you stop seeing
yourself that way, others might as
well. |
SERENA
Amy, please don't start -- |
SERENA
No, Amy. You're just gonna give us
your little "smart girl" opinion. |
Amy looks at Serena scornfully. She bolts up and walks
out of the room. The girls all look at each other. |
RAYE
Wow. Nice work, Serena. |
83.
Serena starts to get up, but Luna puts her paw on Serena.
Serena turns to Luna. |
LITA
What could be bothering her? |
Serena starts to get up, but Luna puts her paw on Serena.
Serena turns to Luna. |
LUNA
Serena. Maybe she just needs to be
left alone right now. |
RAYE
What could be wrong with her? |
LUNA
She might be a bit self-conscious
about her intelligence. She's so
used to excelling and beating
everybody at everything, she
doesn't want to seem like a snob
or like it's going to her head. |
RAYE
Look, I'm gonna go talk to her,
Luna. |
Raye gets up and proceeds out the room. |
SERENA
I'm sure everything'll be fine. |
Serena's cell phone rings on her nightstand. She picks it
up, looks at the number on the phone and giggles with
excitement- |
SERENA
Oh my God, it's Molly! |
Serena quickly opens the phone and puts it up to her ear- |
MOLLY (O.S.)
Hey girl! How are ya! |
84.
SERENA
You're out!? Oh my God! Where are
you? |
MOLLY (O.S.)
I'm here at my house. You oughta
come over, I miss you! |
SERENA
Oh my God, you have no idea! I
miss you too! |
MOLLY (O.S.)
Darien called me earlier. He told
me y'all patched things up, eh? |
At that moment, Raye comes back with Amy. Serena looks up
nervously at the two of them. Amy and Raye look
terrified. |
LUNA
What's going on, girls? |
RAYE
(fearfully)
24 hours. |
AMY
The astroid. It's coming in 24
hours. They were talking about it
on the news just now. |
LUNA
How on Earth did it get here so
soon!? |
MOLLY
Serena, you there? Can you hear
me? I -- |
Serena, overtaken with panic, slowly shuts her phone. |
SERENA
Luna, are you sure there isn't any
other way to stop them besides the
crystal? There's no way we'll have
enough time to find its holder. |
85.
LUNA
I don't know for sure, Serena. But
I do know this: if that astroid
makes it here, the results... |
LITA
Would be bad. Real bad. |
MINA
What are we gonna do!? |
Amy shuts her eyes in deep thought. They all look at her. |
SERENA
You have an idea, Amy? |
AMY
...some way...we...can... |
AMY
...take out the life on the
astroid. Our biggest concern is
not the astroid itself, but the
Dark Kingdom that resides within
it. |
MINA
That thing is huge, Amy! It can
still cause an awful lot of damage
regardless. |
AMY
The Dark Kingdom obviously has
control of the astroid. Once
they're taken care of, so is the
astroid. |
RAYE
What are you getting at here? |
Amy's face lights up- |
AMY
That's it! A frequency...like,
radiation... |
86.
LUNA
Dark Kingdom inhabitants' genetic
makeups are very similar to
humans'. Therefore, they should be
just as susceptible to radiation
poisoning. This should work
well...if we can pull it off. |
SERENA
Why don't we just nuke the damn
thing? |
RAYE
(sarcastically)
Oh yeah, Serena. Let's just go
into my closet at home and get
that spare warhead I didn't need
for physics class! |
LUNA
Nuclear weapons would require
government aid, which will blow
our cover. We cannot allow anyone
to find out who we are at a time
like this. |
AMY
My old professor, Dr. McCormick.
We need to get to his lab. He has
a frequency amplifier. If we can
shoot amplified Gamma rays up
through Earth's atmosphere at the
astroid, and we're able to hit it
just right, we might be in
business! |
LUNA
Isn't that dangerous? For planes
in the sky or satellites? |
AMY
All satellites by regulation are
resistant to Gamma rays. Lucky us.
But as far as planes in the sky
are concerned, we're gonna have to
(MORE)
87.
AMY (cont'd)
make sure there aren't any
scheduled flights in the area at
the time we fire the rays. |
LITA
How soon can we do this? |
They all look at each other. |
INT. LITA'S SUV - NIGHT |
Lita is driving fast down the highway. The girls, along
with Luna, are packed into Lita's new SUV. |
SERENA
(annoyed)
4 o'clock in the morning, Lita?
C'mon... |
LUNA
This needs to be taken care of as
soon as possible, Serena! |
MINA
(yawning)
I really hope this works 'cause
I'm exhausted. |
EXT. MCCORMICK LABORATORY - LATER |
Lita's SUV pulls up into the small parking lot of a large
sophisticated looking building. There is a small sign in
the front that says, "McCormick Laboratory". There's a
Dodge Viper parked there as well as a Ford F-150. Lita's
SUV parks next to the Ford and the engine cuts off. |
INT. LITA'S SUV - CONTINUOUS |
SERENA
(looking over at
the Viper)
Wow. Looks like the doc's got
bank. |
88.
AMY
Yeah, he and his son are doing
pretty well for themselves. |
INT. MCCORMICK LABORATORY - MOMENTS LATER |
THE HALLWAY
The girls are walking down the white walled, brightly
fluorescent-lit blue-carpeted narrow hallway with some
pictures of famous scientists along the walls. |
SERENA
So do you know where Dr. McCormick
actually is? |
A man's voice can be heard up ahead. Indistinct talking.
The girls pause and look at each other. |
The girls reach the end of the hallway and go through a
set of glass double-doors into -- |
THE LOBBY
Large and classy, almost like a major science museum
lobby. The lighting is dim and romantic. There is a large
fountain in the center of the room, and the floor is gray
marble. Lots of windows. There are some plants in there,
too. The sound of their shoes walking along the marble
floor reverberate as they walk in. |
RAYE
Wow, this is beautiful. |
A set of glossy wooden double-doors open to their left.
Out comes Dr. McCormick, wearing an
"AnswersInGenesis.com" T-Shirt and jeans, along with Greg
in a gray jogging suit- |
DR. MCCORMICK
Oh yeah. There you guys are. |
They make their way over to the girls- |
89.
Once he and his son make it over to the girls, he holds
his hand out to Serena. |
DR. MCCORMICK
Calvin McCormick. And you are -- |
Serena shakes his hand- |
SERENA
Serena Sylvan. Amy's told us so
much about you. |
Dr. McCormick smiles, looking over at Amy- |
DR. MCCORMICK
Good, I hope. |
RAYE
(holding her hand
out)
Raye Hino. |
She and Dr. McCormick shake hands. |
LITA
(holding her hand
out)
Lita Thompson. |
Lita and Dr. McCormick shake hands. |
MINA
(holding her hand
out)
Mina Lawrence. |
Mina and Dr. McCormick shake hands. |
DR. MCCORMICK
It's nice to meet you guys. So Amy
called me and told me that you
were interested in my frequency
amplification system. |
90.
SERENA
Yeah. Did she also tell you why? |
ENGINE ROOM
The girls are following Dr. McCormick and Greg through a
large warehouse. Dim beige lighting. Machinery everywhere- |
DR. MCCORMICK
It kinda seems like it could work.
It depends, of course, on how
resistant these so-called space
aliens are to radiation.
(beat)
But I must ask, though, why not
just report it to NASA or some
other authorities? |
The girls all look at each other and pause. |
MINA
Listen, Dr. McCormick. I think the
less the government is involved,
the better. |
GREG
What makes you say that, Mina? |
Mina goes into her purse and pulls out her brooch,
showing it to him. The other girls, Luna included, jump
with surprise. |
DR. MCCORMICK
What's that? |
Lita immediately jumps in Mina's way- |
LITA
(desperately
faking))
Oh, nothing at all! That's just
her pretty little makeup mirror,
right, Mina? |
Mina looks at the girls, then back at Dr. McCormick- |
MINA
No. It's best that these guys know
now. |
The girls, still in shock, look over at Luna, but the cat
just sighs. |
91.
The girls look at each other again. They each begin
revealing their brooches, except for Amy, who walks
closer to Dr. McCormick and Greg. She sighs. |
AMY
Listen guys. I think we have a
confession to make. I've known you
two for a long time. Therefore,
I'm trusting you with some very
top-secret information. You
have to promise not to turn us in. |
McCormick and his son look at each other with quizzical
looks, then back at Amy. |
DR. MCCORMICK
We would never turn you in against
your wishes for anything,
sweetheart. |
AMY
We're the Sailor Scouts they've
been talking about on the news. |
McCormick and his son look at her with disbelief- |
DR. MCCORMICK
Oh my goodness! |
The girls look at each other a bit reluctantly. Luna
sighs again. |
DR. MCCORMICK
That...wow....I never would have
guessed. Amy? |
GREG
Amy, this is unbelievable. I mean,
I knew you were special,
but....wow... |
SERENA
The government doesn't have what
it takes to stop this thing, doc.
They'll only get in our way. We
can't let that astroid reach
Earth's orbit. |
92.
Dr. McCormick looks up ahead. |
They proceed to walk ahead but-
(above the ceiling) CRASH!! |
The sound of SHATTERING GLASS can be heard from the floor
above them. Everyone suddenly pauses and looks up in
panic- |
DR. MCCORMICK
(fearfully)
It's coming from the first floor.. |
LITA
How the hell did they know we were
here!? |
RAYE
(whispering)
Lita, keep your voice down. |
AMY
(whispering)
Let's go. |
They proceed to make their way back to the elevator in
which they came down. A small EXPLOSION occurs at the
elevator door! They stop and look at each other
cautiously. |
The SHRIEKING of dragons can be heard above the ceiling.
Everyone looks up again- |
SERENA
I know that sound from anywhere. |
THE LOBBY
93.
Several dragons are FLYING around the room up near the
ceiling, SHRIEKING. The wall of windows facing outside is
now completely shattered and broken. Zoisite steps over
the broken glass from outside into the lobby, carrying a
shotgun with a gas mask on. He removes the gas mask,
throws it onto the floor and COCKS his gun. |
ENGINE ROOM
Amy touches Dr. McCormick's shoulders- |
The two of them nod with panic. The girls RUN toward the
stairs. |
THE LOBBY
Zoisite aims his shotgun and FIRES at a statue of Jesus
Christ across the room from him. He smirks- |
ZOISITE
You gave us a whole world of
problems. |
The dragons FLY around in a circle, SHRIEKING. Zoisite
raises his hands in the air and takes a deep victorious
breath. At that, the dragons fly in a tighter circle,
BATTING their wings and SHRIEKING more loudly. Then- |
CRASH!
VIOLENT LIGHTENING STRIKES along with Sailor Jupiter
through the glass ceiling, SHATTERING the entire thing!
The wind begins to blow as if there were a hurricane!
Jupiter LANDS on her feet, right in front of the
fountain! Glass shards raining down from her entrance!
She stands upright, locking her feet together, balding
her fists up and crossing her arms, extending her pinkies
and index fingers as an antennae begins to creep up from
the centerpiece of her tiara. Zoisite stares, a bit
apprehensive. LOADS of blue-white electricity encircle
her body as she breaths in and raises her arms up
vertically. She EXHALES. The mass of lightening
surrounding her body SPREADS out and NAILS every dragon
flying! An explosion of SPARKS on contact! The lights
hanging are STRUCK as well, but not put out. Every
dragon, BURNT to a crisp HITS the floor. Sailor Jupiter
lowers her arms as her antennae slides back into her
tiara. She looks over at Zoisite, frowning. He's huddled
in a corner, holding tightly to his shotgun. He slowly
gets up- |
94.
ZOISITE
Quite an entrance... |
He FIRES at Jupiter, but she JUMPS out of the way! He
COCKS his shotgun again as more dragons fly in from the
broken ceiling! The other scouts run into the lobby
through the glass double-doors and look up as they see
several dragons flying overhead, SHRIEKING. Two of the
dragons FLY DOWN at them but they all run out of the way,
different directions, causing the dragons to RAM into the
glass doors, SHATTERING them. Zoisite FIRES at Mars but
misses. Mars pulls out a Shinto charm, holding it between
her two fingers in front of her face. |
The charm turns rigid and begins to catch on fire, her
focus firmly on Zoisite. Zoisite looks up in horror as
his dragons SHRIEK in pain, smoking up, burning, and
catching on fire themselves as they fall to the ground.
Mars smirks, lets go of the charm which then floats into
the air, engulfed in flames, becoming a small fireball
that ZIPS toward Zoisite. Zoisite moves out of the way
and the fireball hits the wall, causing it to catch on
fire. The dragons have fallen to the ground, burnt. Smoke
fills the room. The scouts regroup, facing Zoisite. He
slowly gets up, lays his shotgun down and begins
applauding. |
ZOISITE
Amazing, ladies. Amazing. |
The girls look at each other. Confused. |
ZOISITE
This was all a test to see if you
had what it took to be a part of
our kingdom. Congratulations. You
succeeded. |
SAILOR JUPITER
What the hell are you talking
about!? |
Zoisite walks closer to them. |
ZOISITE
Allow me to spell it out for you,

SAILOR MOON
I don't know how many times we've
got to tell you this, but it's
never gonna happen! |
A genuinely surprised look comes across Zoisite's face. |
ZOISITE
Are you serious?
(smiles while motioning
outside)
I suppose that's just tough, then. |
The girls look outside into the night sky. They see a
helicopter about a half-mile away with its search light
on, slowly heading toward them. A blazing, comet-like
missile FIRES out of one of its guns straight at the
building they're in. The scouts immediately make a run
for it out of the building! |
EXT. MCCORMICK LABORATORY - CONTINUOUS |
The fiery missile STRIKES the building, causing it to
EXPLODE! |
EXT. WOODS - NIGHT |
About 3/4 miles from the destroyed laboratory. Smoke
billows up from the once known lab in the distance. The
girls, exhausted. Sitting and leaning up against trees.
Covered in soot. They barely escaped. |
SAILOR MERCURY
I lost them... |
Sailor Moon leans over to console her. |
SAILOR MOON
They may be alright, Amy. |
Sailor Mercury shakes her head. A tear rolls down her
cheek. |
SAILOR MERCURY
What was I thinking? |
SAILOR MARS
We did the best we could. There's
nothing that we could have done
differently. |

A car can be heard approaching them. Sailor Venus looks
up ahead. |
The girls stand up. They see Lita's SUV approaching them
in the woods. The engine cuts off, headlights still on.
Tuxedo Kamen comes out of the driver side carrying Luna.
The girls are visibly dumbfounded. |
TUXEDO KAMEN
Don't worry, guys. Dr. McCormick
and Greg are safe. I just took
them home. |
A sigh of relief comes from the girls. |
SAILOR JUPITER
How did you get into that car? |
Tuxedo Kamen looks over at the SUV and smiles. |
TUXEDO KAMEN
(tosses keys to
Sailor Moon)
Luckily, this young woman left her
keys in there, and let's just say
that I'm pretty good at picking
locks. |
Luna, still in Tuxedo Kamen's arms, bows her head. |
LUNA
We've come to the end of the road,
Sailor couts. There is nothing
left for us to do. |
The scouts look at each other. |
SAILOR JUPITER
What's going to happen now, Luna? |
LUNA
All we can do now is wait for the
astroid. |
SAILOR MARS
But doesn't that mean the end of
the world? |

EXT. HOUSTON SKYLINE - ESTABLISHING - DAWN |
Dense cloudy sky. The city sits under the dullest shade
of a greenish gray. There is also a small dark spot in
the sky. Small but noticeable. |
LUNA (V.O.)
I won't lie to you. |
INT. AMY'S CONDO - LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS |
Elegant, modern decor. The lights are off. The only light
is coming from outside, painting everything and everyone
in the room the same depressing hue as what's out there.
Serena, Raye, and Mina are sitting on the couch. Amy and
Lita on the love-seat. Luna on the coffee table in front
of them. |
LUNA
It will take everything you can
offer, Sailor Scouts, to stay
alive. Many will die. Perhaps even
some of us will. |
RAYE
Is there any point in fighting? Is
it really in our best interests
just to give up? |
Luna shakes her head. |
LUNA
Never. We fight 'till our hearts
give out. |
FOX NEWS - CONTINUOUS |
The anchorman, somberly giving what could be his final
report. |
ANCHORMAN
Authorities advise that everyone
take cover, and be with your loved
ones in the process.
(taking off his glasses)
Ladies and gentlemen. This could
be my final report. Many of us
could die today. Many of our loved
ones could die today. I therefore
leave you with this final thought:
believe and pray. |

INT. AMY'S CONDO - LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS |
SERENA
Do you guys mind if I go
somewhere? |
The girls look over at Serena with worry. |
AMY
Don't you think we need to stick
together right now, Serena? |
LUNA
It's fine, Amy. Let her go. |
The girls look at each other again with concern. |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - ESTABLISHING - DAWN |
Deserted. Visibly damaged from the several attacks that
have taken place. A convoy of food trucks with their
headlights on, moving down the empty street. |
EXT. PARK - DAWN |
A bit windy. Serena sits on a park bench. Although the
day has progressed, the light has not changed. It's as if
the sun didn't bother to shine any more than this since
it knows that the world is about to end. Molly, walking
down a sidewalk, spots Serena and walks over to her- |
MOLLY
Serena. You wanted to see me? |
Serena goes into her purse and pulls out her brooch,
showing it to Molly. |
SERENA
I'm so sorry I hung up on you,
Molly. You're probably wondering
where I've been. You see, I'm -- |
Molly smiles, nods, and sits down next to Serena. |
MOLLY
I've known all along. I
understand. |
99.
MOLLY
Only you would be that concerned
over my life, Serena. The news
said you appeared right on the
scene as soon as I was sent to the
hospital. When I heard about that,
I knew it was you. |
Serena looks down and smiles sheepishly. |
SERENA
Molly, I need you to believe in
me. |
Molly puts her hand on Serena's back. |
MOLLY
I always have. We all do. |
Serena looks over at Molly. |
SERENA
I'll make sure nothing happens to
you. Even if I have to die first. |
SERENA
We're gonna survive this.
(looking up into the sky)
We're gonna beat this. I promise. |
INT. DARIEN'S APARTMENT - LIVING ROOM - DAWN |
One-bedroom apartment. Organized and neat. Lights off.
Darien sits in his couch. Stoic. Staring at a deadly
black rose he's holding, identical to the ones that come
out of Tuxedo Kamen's pistol. He gets up and walks over
to his window and stares out at the depressing cityscape. |
INT. SERENA'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS |
Serena, staring out the window with Luna on her shoulder.
A beat passes, then a low rumbling sound. Serena looks
around. |
Serena nods. |

EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - DAWN |
The Sailor Scouts, walking together down the empty
street, stop and look up into the sky. The black spot in
the sky has gotten bigger. |
EXT. OUTER SPACE - CONTINUOUS |
A massive astroid penetrates Earth's atmosphere- |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - CONTINUOUS |
A SONIC BOOM and a FLASH in the sky as the ground JOLTS.
The girls continue to look up into the sky. A large,
fiery object the size of a baseball from where they're
standing ZOOMS down from the clouds- |
SAILOR MOON
There it is... |
EXT. OUTER SPACE - CONTINUOUS |
Large explosion on the earth. It looks as if it covers a
lot of land- |
EXT. DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - CONTINUOUS |
The sky LIGHTS UP from the blast- |
DESTRUCTION MONTAGE
1) Buildings and structures BLOWN away by the BLAST --
2) Helicopters spinning out of control from the wind
force of the blast --
3) Massive Earthquake. The Sailor Scouts holding hands,
looking up into the sky as --
4) Out of nowhere, dragons fly wildly all around in the
sky around the dark spot in the sky, which has gotten
much bigger, looking to be an abyss several miles wide --
5) The Sailor Scouts standing in downtown, holding hands.
Buildings crumble and blown away all around them. They
stand steadfast. Wind blowing HARD as if they were in a
tornado --
END OF MONTAGE |
The wind continues to blow but the earthquake stops. The
scouts, looking up, see a FIGURE descending down from the
dark abyss in the sky. A WOMAN'S BODY. |
101.
The figure looks to be wearing a long black gown. The
torso of the figure obscured from view- |
SAILOR MERCURY
What the hell...? |
The woman continues to descend from the abyss. Her
entirety is now revealed -- |
QUEEN BERYL!
She shuts her eyes as she slowly descends. DRAGONS flying
all around her. SHRIEKING. |
LUNA
Queen Beryl. The ruler of the Dark
Kingdom. |
Sailor Moon's gaze is fixed on Queen Beryl. She breaths
in slowly and sighs. Queen Beryl opens her eyes and
stares blankly at Sailor Moon, continuing to descend,
placing her hands on her chest. She draws closer to the
ground- |
SAILOR VENUS
Just....say....nothing, guys. |
SAILOR JUPITER
Yeah, let's just see what she has
to say. |
LUNA
Stay calm, Sailor Scouts. |
The grip the Sailor Scouts have on each others' hands
tighten as Queen Beryl lands onto the ground, only about
20 feet in front of them, still staring at Sailor Moon.
Queen Beryl bows her head and lifts her hands up. The
wind suddenly STOPS and all of the dragons in the sky fly
away by the tens, no longer even shrieking. The noise of
their violent flapping is haunting. Then -- |
SILENCE.
So quiet that you could hear a pin drop. The Sailor
Scouts look at each other fearfully, but then back at
Queen Beryl. Queen Beryl looks at them. Emotionless. She
walks slowly toward them- |
102.
QUEEN BERYL (DARK KINGDOM LANGUAGE)
(subtitled)
I've been waiting for centuries,
Princess. |
The girls look at each other with confusion. |
ZOISITE (O.S.)
Don't be fools, Sailor Scouts! |
The girls don't turn around, but now realize that Zoisite
is standing only about 20 feet behind them. Arms crossed. |
ZOISITE
We've given them many
opportunities to join us, my
queen. They were just plain
stupid. |
Queen Beryl looks up into the sky. Several dragons in the
sky begin to SHRIEK with rage. They gather up and begin
to DIVE down. The girls move about with caution but
realize that the dragons are all charging down at -- |
ZOISITE!
Zoisite moves about frantically to avoid the coming
onslaught but it does no good! The dragons land upon him,
several of them at a time and start to DEVOUR him! He
SCREAMS as the dragons, SHRIEKING with rage and
bloodthirst, crowd on him, several more coming to join
the killing! Covered with dragons, no longer even
visible. His screams are violent, but then eventually
fade, signifying his death. The dragons continue to
shriek and attack. Eventually, they fiercely fly back up
to join the several dragons already flying away madly in
the sky. What's left of Zoisite is nothing more than a
black skeleton lying out in the street. The Sailor Scouts
are watching in horror. They slowly turn back to Queen
Beryl with looks of shock written all over their faces.
Queen Beryl's expression is still blank, as if nothing
major even happened. Luna doesn't look surprised. |
LUNA
I knew what would happen to him.
Don't be surprised, Sailor Scouts. |
Queen Beryl looks down at Luna- |
QUEEN BERYL (DARK KINGDOM LANGAUGE)
(subtitled)
Mark this as your end, prophet. |

Queen Beryl points the palm of her hand at Luna, but -- |
