The bus had arrivee din front of the school dropping off the
students, Jimmy is the last to get off the bus and the bus
drives off. Jimmy looks behind him at the bus as it drives
off and gives of a sigh. |
Jimmy walks towards the entrance of the school where James
and his 'Friends' are waiting around. James sees Jimmy and
invites Jimmy to join them as they hang out and chat before
class starts.
Jimmy agrees and set his bag down and sits next to James. |
After a while the bell rings signalling the time for class
to start and Jimmy gets up to go to class. James speaks up. |
JAMES
(looks at Jimmy)
Hey man where you going? |
JIMMY
(looks down at
James)
Em... class is starting I'm
heading over to class now. |
JAMES
(looks at Jimmy
with a fown on
his face)
Oh come on man, hang with us. We
were going to go over to the
arcade and have some fun you know? |
JIMMY
(looks a bit
worried)
But... class is about to start....
also what if we get caught? I
think you guys should go without
me... |
JAMES
(gives a cocky
smile)
Oh stop being a worry wart Jimmy.
The place we are going is
perfectly safe and the teacher
will never think of going there.

JAMES (cont'd)
Come on or are you chicken? |
At this James and his friends start imitating chicken to
push Jimmy to join then. After a while Jimmy shakes his
head. |
JIMMY
(looks annoyed)
Ok ok I'll go with you guys but
just this once all right? I don't
want to get into trouble. |
JAMES
(With a truimpant

INT. SCHOOL - GUIDANCE COUNSELLOR'S ROOM - DAY |
FADE IN:
Counsellor Melissa waits patiently at her desk when she
hears a knock on the door. |
COUNSELLOR
(gives a small
smile)
Come in |
JIMMY
(open the door
aand walks in.
Looks very
worried)
Hello... miss.. em... you wanted
to see me? |
3.
COUNSELLOR
Yes Jimmy. Why don't you take a
seat?
(Gestures towards
the chair infront
of her) |
Jimmy nods and sits down at the indicated chair. He now
looks more worried and wonders why Counsellor Melissa wants
to see him. |
COUNSELLOR
Now you are probably wondering why
I called you here Jimmy. Well
yesterday I saw you going off with
James and his gang after the class
bell rang. Where were you going? |
JIMMY
(looks more
worried and
specks in a small
voice)
Em... the arcade... |
COUNSELLOR
Don't worry. You not in trouble
and I won't cause you more
problems. In fact, the reason why
I called you here is to caution
you about James. |
COUNSELLOR
(interupts)
I know he is your friend but good
friends shouldn't influence you to
skip class or smoke. |
COUNSELLOR
I can smell it on you Jimmy, it's
rather strong. |
Jimmy looks down guiltily as Counsellor Melissa starts
advising Jimmy about James flaws and tells him to find some
real friends who will not take advantage of his timidness or
push him to do thing he does not want him to do. |
