                       CHORUS
      (Music up, Singing)
When the snow comes 'round at
Christmas Town,
All the boys and girls will cheer.
'Cause when snow comes 'round at
Christmas Town,
It means Christmas Time is near.
For it's "Ho, Ho, Ho" and it's
"Hee, Hee, Hee" you will hear the
raindeer say.
'Cause when snow comes 'round at
Christmas Town, Krissy Kringle
arrives today, today, Krissy
Kringle arrives today!

A young girl, KRISSY KRINGLE, enters through door UP LEFT
from the outside. She is dressed for Winter in her elf
costume complete with heavy coat, scarf around her neck and
her Christmas hat. She stops at the coat rack and takes off
the scarf and coat and hangs them on the coat rack. She
then comes down CENTER.

                       KRISSY
Hi, kids! I'm Krissy Kringle. I
think you all know my Grandpap!

She gives a look of concern.

                       KRISSY
      (cont'd.)
Santa Claus! Yeah! Hey, I wanted
to thank you all for coming to my

my very special birthday wish and
that's to go to the "top of the
world at the North Pole" and lead
the the snow that's up there DOWN
into Christmas Town and officially
proclaim it to be "Christmas"! I
just LOVE Christmas, don't you?

KRISSY begins to sing.

                       KRISSY
Hey, kids, what do snow men eat
for breakfast? Frosted Flakes!

Suddenly, we see SPRITE, THE ELF, appear outside the window
looking in. He/she sees KRISSY and seems excited as he/she
he taps on the window.

                       KRISSY
      (turning to see
       who is tapping)
Sprite!

Krissy goes to answer door. When she opens it, she sees
SPRITE, a young boy/girl dressed for winter with a message
bag slug over his/her shoulder. He/she appears to be
breathless and excited.

                       KRISSY
Sprite!

                       SPRITE
Krissy!

                       KRISSY
      (to audience)
Hey, kids, it's my cousin, Sprite,
the Elf.

                       KRISSY (cont'd.)
      (to SPRITE)
What are you so excited about?

SPRITE enters.

                       SPRITE
Krissy, boy, am I glad I caught
you at home! (SPRITE takes off
coat and scarf and hangs them on
the coat rack) I just got a new
job with the North Pole Weather
Bureau and they sent me here with
an emergency message just for you.

                       KRISSY
The North Pole Weather Bureau?
What is it?

The two come DOWN CENTER as SPRITE pulls message from the
bag over his/her shoulder.

3.

                       SPRITE
I don't know, but it must be
important. Here, read it.

SPRITE hands KRISSY the message. She begins to look it
over.

                       SPRITE
      (cont'd.)
They said something about a
MASSIVE WIND STORM that's starting
right now just North of Christmas
Town. They had me run all the way
down here and deliver it
personally to you to make sure you
got it.

Hey, kids, that me!

                       KRISSY (cont'd.)
      (reading from
       message)
FROM: The North Pole Weather
Bureau.
ATTENTION KRISSY: This is a
really big North Pole weather
emergency. A massive wind storm
has formed just North of Christmas
Town and is blowing the snow that
WAS supposed to be coming down
from the top of the world BACK UP
to the top of the world where it
came from; thereby preventing you,
Krissy, from leading that snow
down into Christmas Town and
officially proclaiming it to be
Christmas Time.

                       KRISSY (cont'd.)
      (to audience)
Oh,no, kids, did you hear that?

                       SPRITE
And if you can't lead the snow
down into Christmas Town, that
means you'll never be able to
officially proclaim it to be

                       KRISSY
Oh, no!

                       SPRITE
Oh, yes!

                       KRISSY
      (to SPRITE and
       audience)
What are we going to do?

                       SPRITE
Call the North Pole Weather
Bureau. Let's see what they have
to say. Their telephone number is
on the message.

                       KRISSY
Okay.

KRISSY pulls out her cell phone from her pocket, looks at
the phone number on the message and begins entering in the
phone number on her cell phone.

                       KRISSY
      (speaking into
       cell phone)
Hello, North Pole Weather Bureau?
This is Krissy Kringle and I just
got...what? Why, yes, yes it is.
Sixteen. Thank you! Oh, and
Sprite, the Elf, my cousin and
your new employee just
delivered...what? Yes, I do get
my special birthday wish this
year. Thank you. Oh, that's what
we were calling you about. The
message Sprite gave me said that
there was a massive wind storm
blowing the snow that I, Krissy
Kringle, was officially chosen to
lead down into Christmas Town so
that I can officially proclaim it
to be Christmas, is now being
blown BACK UP to the top of the
world. And if the wind storm
never goes away, that means I'll
never be able to lead the snow
DOWN into Christmas Town and
officially proclaim it to be

                       KRISSY (cont'd)
Christmas! What? What?

                       SPRITE
What are they saying, Krissy?

                       KRISSY
      (to SPRITE)
Shh! They're telling me!

                       KRISSY
      (cont'd. into
       phone)
Oh, I see. Well, we'll keep our
fingers crossed and just sit tight
until we hear from you. Can you
call me back if there's any
change? My phone number is 555-ho,
ho, ho, ho. Thank you, and you
have a Merry Christmas, too.

KRISSY hangs up phone.

                       KRISSY (cont'd.)
      (sadly to no one
       in particular)
I hope.

                       KRISSY
      (to kids)
Well, kids, the North Pole Weather
Bureau said that there's noting
anyone can do about the storm and
we'll just have to wait and see.

                       KRISSY
      (to SPRITE)
You know, Sprite, it doesn't even
feel like Christmas now. Look I
haven't even turned on my
Christmas lights.

                       SPRITE
      (pulls out magic
       wand from coat
       pocket)
Oh, I'll just fix that with a wave
of my magic wand, ta-da! Your
window lights.

SPRITE turns to the window, waves the magic wand and the
Christmas window lights come on.

6.

                       KRISSY
My window lights!

                       SPRITE
Ta-da! Your Christmas tree.

SPRITE turns to the Christmas tree, waves the magic wand and
the Christmas tree lights come on.

                       KRISSY
My Christmas tree!

                       SPRITE
Ta-da! Your fireplace!

SPRITE turns towards the fireplace, waves magic wand and the
fireplace lights up.

                       KRISSY
Wow! You lit my fireplace.
Thanks, Sprite. I just wished
your magic wand was powerful
enough to stop that massive wind
storm.

                       SPRITE
Well, it's not. Hey, Krissy, I
just thought of something. When
I'm feeling sad and blue and faced
with a problem, singing a song
seems to help. And seeing as this
is a Christmas problem, maybe if
we all sing some Christmas songs
maybe that will help.

                       KRISSY
Do you think?

                       KRISSY (cont'd.)
      (to audience)
Do you think, kids?

                       SPRITE
You know what? We just might be
able to stop that bad old wind
storm after all...

                       KRISSY
...and officially proclaim it to
be Christmas!

7.

                       KRISSY
      (to SPRITE)
Sprite, the CD player!

                       SPRITE
Ta-da!

SPRITE turns to the CD player, waves the magic wand and the
CD player turns "on" and lights up and music begins. SPRITE
puts the magic wand back into hits pocket. KRISSY sings.

I don't know. Let's look out the
window.

They both run to window and look out.

                       KRISSY
Do you see any snow?

                       SPRITE
No, not yet.

                       KRISSY
Are you sure?

                       SPRITE
Krissy, we just started.

                       KRISSY
Yeah, you're right, Sprite. We're
just getting started. You're
ALWAYS right.

The two begin to come DOWN CENTER.

                       KRISSY (cont'd.)
I know, I'll just send a text
message to my favorite radio
station, WSNO, and ask them to
make an on-air announcement asking
for anyone who wants to help to
just stop in and sing a Christmas
song.

8.

KRISSY pulls out cell phone and begins to text and send
message.

                       SPRITE
      (to kids)
You know, guys, we have to keep an
upbeat attitude. We have to be
strong! We have to stick in
there! When Christmas comes, we
have to be ready to rock!

SPRITE turns to the CD player and waves magic wand. CD
player turns "on", lights up and begins to play. SPRITE
begins to sing.

How about now? Do you think that
did any good?

                       SPRITE
Let's check again.

They both run to the window, look out and shake their heads.

                       SPRITE
No, nothing.

                       KRISSY
I have to be ready for the first
sign of ANY snowflakes.

They both return to Center.

                       SPRITE
I sure hope that text message you
sent to WSNO will help. You'll
never know who's going to show up
and give us a hand.

Suddenly, we see a man, SEAN, appear at the window and look
in, seeing KRISSY and SPRITE and eagerly taps at the window.
KRISSY and SPRITE run to door. SPRITE opens the door. We
see SEAN standing in the doorway.

                       SPRITE
Krissy, look who's here; Sean from
the drug store.

9.

                       SEAN
Hi, ya, Krissy. Hi, Sprite.

SEAN enters. SPRITE closes the door and all three remain at
the door.

                       SEAN
      (cont'd.)
I was down working at the pharmacy
and heard on the radio about your
problem and how everyone can help
by stopping in and singing a
Christmas song. (as he takes off
his coat, hat and scarf and hangs
them on the coat rack) So I got my
boss, Mr. Walker, to let me take a
break, grab my coat and come on
down to see what I could do.

                       KRISSY
You sure can help by singing a
song.

                       SEAN
But first; knock, knock.

                       KRISSY
Who's there?

                       SEAN
Hanna.

                       SPRITE
Hanna, who?

                       SEAN
Hanna partridge in a pear tree!
Ha, ha. Now for that Christmas
song.

                       KRISSY
      (to SPRITE)
Got your magic wand, Sprite?

All three begin to come DOWN CENTER.

                       SPRITE
      (pulls out magic
       wand from coat
       pocket)
Sure do!

10.

                       SPRITE
      (cont'd.)
Ta-da!

SPRITE turns to CD player, waves magic want, CD player turns
"on", lights up and music begins to play. SPRITE puts the
magic wand back into his pocket as SEAN begins to sing.

All three run to window and look out.

No, nothing. Well, at least we
tried. (as he begins to take coat,
hat and scarf the coat rack and
put them back on) Well, hey,
Krissy, I wish I could stand
longer, but I promised Mr. Walker
I'd be back to the pharmacy just
as soon as I could. We're having
our Christmas party!

SPRITE opens the door.

                       SEAN

Merry Christmas, everybody.

                       SPRITE
If you see anybody that might be
able to help, send them our way.

                       SEAN
I sure will and have a safe and
Happy New Year.

window.

                       KRISSY & SPRITE

       at the window)
Jim!

                       SPRITE
      (to audience)
Hey, look, kids. It's Jim from
down the gas station!

KRISSY and SPRITE run to door, open it and we see JIM, an
older man standing in the doorway.

                       KRISSY
Jim!

JIM enters, shakes SPRITE'S hand.

KRISSY and SPRITE turn to see who's at the window.

14.

                       SPRITE
Wow! Rick and Michelle from over
by Snow Town.

KRISSY and SPRITE run to the door, open it and we see RICK
and MICHELLE standing in the doorway. SPRITE beckons them
to enter. They enter.

                       MICHELLE
Hi, guys, we came to help. We
heard on the car radio about your
problem and decided to stop in to
see what we could do.

RICK and MICHELLE begin to take off their coats, hats and
scarfs and RICK places them on the coat rack.

                       RICK
And we're all warmed up and ready
to sing. We just came from Chorus
practice.

They all come DOWN CENTER.

                       SPRITE
Yeah, you're the fourth people
that have stopped in to help. We
can't lose now.

                       RICK
      (to SPRITE &
       KRISSY)
But first, what do you call a cat
sitting on a beach on Christmas
Eve?

                       KRISSY
I don't know. What DO you call a
cat sitting on a beach on
Christmas Eve?

                       MICHELLE
Sandy Claus!

They all laugh.

                       KRISSY
Sprite?

SPRITE turns to the CD player, draws and waves his magic
wand, CD player turns "on" and lights up. RICK and MICHELLE
begin to sing.

15.

                       SPRITE
Ta-da!

MUSIC UP - SIXTH SONG PARODY
TBA
SONG BEGINS, SONG ENDS

                       KRISSY
Wow! That was wonderful, guys. I
hope it helped.

                       MICHELLE
Let's see.

They all run over to the window, look out.

                       SPRITE
No, nothing. Not even one small
snowflake.

                       MICHELLE
Well, at least we tried.

                       RICK
We did out best. (as RICK takes
his and MICHELLE'S hats, coats and
scarfs off the coast rack and they
put them back on) Hey, we have to
be getting back home. We're
having family over for a holiday
sing-a-long.

All four cross to door. SPRITE opens the door for RICK &
MICHELLE. As they exit, they turn say final goodbyes.

                       MICHELLE
And we still have to get the house
decorated.

                       RICK & MICHELLE
Merry Christmas!

RICK and MICHELLE exit.

                       KRISSY & SPRITE
Merry Christmas, guys and be safe.

KRISSY and SPRITE both return to Center.

                       KRISSY
I'm going to give the North Pole
Weather Bureau one more call just
to see what's up.

16.

                       SPRITE
Maybe we should wait, Krissy.

But as KRISSY takes out her cell phone and begins to dial,
we see and older lady, MRS. CLAUS, suddenly appear at the
window. She looks in, sees KRISSY and SPRITE and eagerly
taps at the window.

KRISSY and SPRITE turn to see who it is.

                       KRISSY & SPRITE
Grandma!

They both run to the door. SPRITE opens it and we see MRS.
CLAUS, KRISSY'S and SPRITE'S grandmother standing in the
doorway in full holiday dress. She has a large book tucked
under one arm.

                       MRS. CLAUS
      (as she enters)
That's right, Krissy,Sprite and
you children. It is I, Mrs.
Claus, Krissy's grandmother and
more formally known around the
world as "Mother Christmas". I
was home decorating your
Grandfather, Santa's, Christmas
tree when Santa and I heard on the
radio all about your Christmas
problem and how everybody in town
was stepping forward to lend you
hand.

MRS. CLAUS begins to take off her coat and scarf and hang
them on the coat rack.

                       SPRITE
And so you figured it was time to
"pull out the big guns", and you
grabbed your hat and coat and
braved the weather to get here.

                       MRS. CLAUS
That's exactly right, Sprite.

                       KRISSY
What's that tucked under your arm,
Grandma?

They all begin to come DOWN CENTER.

17.

                       MRS. CLAUS
It's my special book of poems;
Christmas poems! Now, everybody
who has come here so far has sang
a Christmas song. But I'm going
to help out by reading a Christmas
poem, a very special Christmas
poem.

                       KRISSY
Wow, that would be great.

They all cross to the chair situation next to KRISSY'S
Christmas tree. MRS. CLAUS sits in the chair as SPRITE &
KRISSY sit at her feet. MRS. CLAUS opens the book.

                       MRS. CLAUS
This particular poem is entitled,
"A Visit From Saint Nicholas", or
as we all know it better, "The
Night Before Christmas". Ah-hem.

MRS. CLAUS reads "The Night Before Christmas" from beginning
to end. As she finishes, KRISSY'S cell phone begins to
ring. KRISSY & SPRITE jump to their feet as KRISSY answers
the phone. All three are listening with great anticipation.

                       KRISSY
Wait, kids. It's my cell phone.
Somebody's trying to call me. (she
looks at the caller ID) It's the
North Pole Weather Bureau!

                       KRISSY
      (cont'd. into
       phone)
Hello? Yes, yes, this is Krissy
Kringle. Yes, yes, THEE Krissy
Kringle. It did? It is? How
much? Oh, boy! Thanks! Oh, and a
Merry Christmas to you, too. Bye!

KRISSY closes cell phone and puts it back in her pocket.

                       KRISSY
      (to kids)
Hey, everybody, that was the North
Pole Weather Bureau. They said
that for "some strange reason" the
massive wind storm that was
blowing the snow back up to the
top of the world has STOPPED and
the snow is beginning to come down
this way towards Christmas Town.

18.

                       KRISSY (cont'd)
Well, I gotta go...

KRISSY crosses to coat rack and begins putting on coat,
scarf and gloves.

                       KRISSY
      (cont'd.)
...and hurry up and lead the snow
into Christmas Town so it will
know which way to go and I'll be
able to get my special birthday
wish; to officially proclaim it to
be Christmas Time! Well, thanks,
kids, and "thanks" Sprite and
Grandma for all the help. I
couldn't have done it without you.

KRISSY opens the door, begins to exit but turns to the kids.

                       KRISSY
      (to kids)
Oh, yeah, and everybody have a
Very Merry Christmas. Bye!

FADE OUT.
