FADE IN:

INT. BRIEFING - DAY

The Slayer, a refitted cargo ship, equipped with the latest
weapons and defense systems required to combat the disease
of vampirism, zipped through the vast emptiness of space,
leaving behind it a trail of fluorescent blue light. Inside
of her conference room sat the Slayer's crew; a ragtag bunch
of vampire hunters.

In the middle of the rather spacious room was a circular
steel table. The table's surface was naked aside from a
disc-like apparatus at its center. A delicate, white hand
reached across the table and, with a slender finger's push
of a button, activated a virtual map of the known galaxy. At
first, the map didn't look like anything; just a bunch of
blue dots. After a few seconds had elapsed, the blue dots
came together to form the holographic map. The map contained
every planet, every moon, every star, known to the human
race. One such planet--Nirvana--stood out from the rest. The
miniscule representation of the planet sparkled, winking at
those viewing it.

                       SERA MOORE
"That is Nirvana."

Sera was a woman of about twenty five or so and was
remarkably beautiful for a vampire hunter. And yet, despite
that beauty, she also wore a heavy burden on her heart,
evident when taking a good, long look into the pools of her
brilliant hazel eyes. That burden had weighed heavily on her
for nigh two years, ever since she had watched her family
viciously torn apart by a group of vampiric pirates. She,
herself, had been lucky to evade their terrible wrath. Ever
since that fateful day, she has sworn to eradicate the
bastard race from the face of the galaxy--not a task to be
taken lightly.

                       SERA MOORE
"We recently picked up a distress
call coming from Nirvana," she
explained.

Once again, she leaned across the table and pressed another
button the machine in the center of the table. This time,
over the ship's speakers, a message--the distress
call--began to play.

"This is Nirvana Six, requesting for immediate assistance,"
the message began, a male voice speaking. "We've been
attacked! Our team leader is dead and so is half the team.

2.

It's the vamps that killed 'em. We don't have... to fight...
scientists... Christ's sake!" It was then that the distorted
message began to trail off. The man's voice could still be
heard, but one couldn't discern what it was that he was
saying. Sera thought that she could vaugely hear a scream,
but that was it.

                       SERA MOORE
"The rest of the message was too
badly garbled; we can't even tell
how old it is. For all we know,
they're all already dead. Still,
it can't hurt to check it out."

The Slayer wasn't exactly the prettiest ship in the
universe. For that matter, though, there were ships out
there that were a far sight uglier than the Slayer too.
Ginia Mantarakis had served on all sorts of vessels, some
prettier, some uglier. Some would argue, though, that she
herself was prettier than the prettiest ships she'd served
on. She shrugged at the thought; she could live with that
sentiment.

She wasn't unattractive, that was for sure. Ginia was small
but had just enough curves and other womanly assets to
distract most of the male half of the species. And some of
the female half, too, she'd found out. The ex-merc didn't
mind either sort of attention, really. That was beside the
point, at the moment. Whether she stood out from the rest
of the crew with her half black/half pink hair, pink
lipstick and additional makeup, etc. was also besides the
point.

As the vessel's first mate began the little briefing, Ginia
sat in a chair leisurely, right leg crossed over her left.
Her legs were shown off by virtue of the near knee-length
faded blue skirt and short black boots. They were
accompanied by a matching blue top and a military style
jacket that looked as if it belonged originally to a person
three times her size. Maybe it had, maybe it hadn't. How
she'd gotten it was a wild story, too - one she'd share if
anyone asked about it. No one had yet.

Which might be because of her love of high-calibur or
equally dangerous weaponry. She didn't have any on her now,
but she was known to own at least one nasty rifle. Again,
that was beside the point. Ginia munched on a small bag of
dried potato snacks as Sera played the distress call, and
then put in her two cents' worth.

"This is Nirvana Six, requesting for immediate assistance,"
the message began, a male voice speaking. "We've been
attacked! Our team leader is dead and so is half the team.

3.

It's the vamps that killed 'em. We don't have... to fight...
scientists... Christ's sake!"

"The rest of the message was too badly garbled; we can't
even tell how old it is. For all we know, they're all
already dead. Still, it can't hurt to check it out," Sera
said upon terminating the message. She leaned forward in her
seat, a look of pure seriousness on her face, and looked at
her crewmates. "What do you say?" she asked.

                       GINIA MANTARAKIS
"If they're already dead, just
means we get the vamps all to
ourselves. If they're not,
they'll owe us one. I'll bet they
have some supplies we could use
any which way, maybe," Ginia
responded, then munched another
slice of dried, baked potato
before going on, "Any which way, I
say we go in there and bust some
vamp heads; it'll be fun!"

She had a savage grin as she said
that, but then it sofetened as she
added, "And if we happen to rescue
any handsome mugs or pretty girls
who want to express their
gratitude to me in.. more intimate
ways.. who's to say I won't have
some other kinds of fun?"

After dishing out your standard briefing, Sera waited for
the responses--if any, at all--from the crew. The first to
speak up was Ginia, a competent young woman who had proved
herself time and time again to be a useful addition to the
Slayer's crew.

"If they're already dead, just means we get the vamps all
to ourselves. If they're not, they'll owe us one. I'll bet
they have some supplies we could use any which way, maybe,"
Ginia responded, then munched another slice of dried, baked
potato before going on, "Any which way, I say we go in there
and bust some vamp heads; it'll be fun!"

Sera didn't want to admit it, but the Ginia, with her bright
pink hair which never failed in grabbing Sera's attention,
had a point. The Slayer hadn't had any big jobs in awhile;
the vamps had been laying low as of late. Likewise, supplies
were beginning to dwindle down on the ship. They still had
more than enough food and the like to last for several more
weeks, but they could do with some extra medical equipment.
And, more food can never hurt.

4.

                       SERA MOORE
"Fun," Sera repeated with a grim
laugh. "Right."

She had always found Ginia to be
darkly funny. 'Fun' isn't the word
Sera'd have used to describe her
path in life. No, more like
'treacherous', 'dangerous',
or--how's about this
one--'shitty'?

"And if we happen to rescue any
handsome mugs or pretty girls who
want to express their gratitude to
me in.. more intimate ways.. who's
to say I won't have some other
kinds of fun?"

"I don't care what you do after
the mission, but, for right now,
keep your head in the game," said
a stern Sera. She was sure that
Ginia, despite her frivolous
attitude, would perform well on
the mission, but Sera--ever the
tight-ass--loved to lecture; a
habit no doubt passed on by her
father, also a tight-ass.

While on the Slayer, Jakinas listened in on the leader/first
officer's briefing. She then played a incoming message from
a ship needing assistance. "This is Nirvana Six, requesting
for immediate assistance," the message began, a male voice
speaking. "We've been attacked! Our team leader is dead and
so is half the team. It's the vamps that killed 'em. We
don't have... to fight... scientists... Christ's sake!"
Jakinas listened in on the message, it seems he recognoized
the voice coming from the attacked ship. Jakinas was sitting
there cleaning off his weapons that had been used through
all of the bloody battles he had been in before the Slayer
took him in as a crewmember.

Looking around the briefing room he watched the other
members Sera and Ginia were talking about what to do. After
several minutes he stood up an walked around playing the
message over and over again in his head as Ginia was talking
about having fun taking off Vamps head. "If they're already
dead, just means we get the vamps all to ourselves. If
they're not, they'll owe us one. I'll bet they have some
supplies we could use any which way, maybe," Ginia
responded, then munched another slice of dried, baked potato
before going on, "Any which way, I say we go in there and

5.

bust some vamp heads; it'll be fun!" agree with Ginia I
think we should go investigate and try to help out, but in
best regards this is probably a huge trap on our end being
it is only us and mostly hundreds to thousands of them.

                       JAKINAS MILLOVNIS
"We just better hope that we have
a plan to this mission." Jakinas
was a man who loved to fight no
matter the odds. Battle and Danger
was just another two words to the
Russian ex-special forces man, who
beat the odds years ago by wiping
out a whole nest in Prague that
attacked and killed his family.

Turning to Ginia and Sera "In
regards to that message from
Nirvana Six, I recognized the
voice on the message. That is
first officer Miller, I served
with him years ago in Prague when
our families were attacked and
wiped out by a swarming nest of
blood thirsty vamps. We managed to
escape but I have not heard
anything from him since that
time." Jakinas started to pace
back and forth more cleaining his
silver tipped arrows. Turning to
Sera "What do you think we should
do?"

Sera was going over attack plans in her head when she heard
Jakinas, the team's hardened merc from Russia, speak up.

"In regards to that message from Nirvana Six, I recognized
the voice on the message. That is first officer Miller, I
served with him years ago in Prague when our families were
attacked and wiped out by a swarming nest of blood thirsty
vamps. We managed to escape but I have not heard anything
from him since that time."

Sera nodded, understanding that Jakinas had a personal stake
in Nirvana Six. She could only hope that the man wouldn't
let that get in the way of his judgement. She doubted it,
though. Jakinas was a good man. Of the little else she knew
about the man, she also knew that Jakinas, like most
everyone aboard the Slayer had lost someone; in his case, it
was his family--just like Sera. Losing one's family is the
universal motivator; it can drive you to do crazy things,
things like hunting vampires in the dark and unknown galaxy.

6.

"What do you think we should do?"

The young brunette thought over her attack plan for a few
seconds longer, her head leaning back and her arms folded
across her chest, before she finally replied.

                       SERA MOORE
"I think we should do it. The
captain's already given us the
go-ahead," she began. "Now,
Nirvana Six isn't the biggest
station out there. It's only a
small research outpost, so we
don't have to worry about there
being too many of them," she
continued, 'them' meaning the
vampires, of course. "Still, that
also means there won't be as much
room to hide, and even then, we
can't forget about the civilians.
Getting the civys to safety is our
main goal, the vamps are just
secondary," she looked at the
crew, not looking at anyone person
in particular. "Got it?" she
didn't even wait for an answer
before moving on. "Good. Now, we
should be arriving in..." she
glance down at her watch. The time
read 1903 hours. It was nighttime,
back on Earth. One couldn't really
tell whether it was night or day,
not out in space. No, out in
space, it was eternal night, just
perfect for vampires. "We should
be arriving anytime. So, unless
there are any more questions, I
think we should get ready."

The various low-key, aggessive commentary and planning that
emanated from the crew amused Muster. He could hear their
heart beats begin to increase with anticipating, the first
scent of adrenhaline hitting their bloodstream. Rashness
would set in, ill-judgement, anger. Previous emtions would
take over. The blood would trickle so sweetly...

A sharp pain in his head brought his thoughts back to
normality. He only winced slightly now. The once handsome
Robert Muster leaned forwards, letting his gaunt features
become bathed in cold blue light from the projector lights.
He smiled thinly and cocked his head whilst his bony fingers
steepled in front of him. A red tongue traced sharp canine
teeth briefly and he coughed lightly.

                       ROBERT MUSTER
'So that's it? Head to the
co-ordinates and put a cap in the
asses of these guys? Fly in, guns
blazing? Yo ulot think we're
stupid, don't you? Even after all
this time you still think we're
blood-drinking monkeys who just
happen to have worked out how to
steer vessels from some weird
"still alive memory".'

The xeno-biologist sighed
mock-theatrically.

'First, they'll know that the ship
is likely to have sent out a
mayday, meaning they'll either
drag the civvies aboard for travel
snacks and run or they'll be
waiting in force for when a
"rescue" ship turns up. You know
there's beena rise in vessels
being hit in rapid succession:
responding to emergencies and so
on. Second, are we certain this is
a genuine mayday anyway?'

He looked at the assembled faces.

'Also, it's a civilian science
vessel, supposedly. So, what
numbers are we looking at? Do we
have a manifest for the vessel?
Acccess ways? If I was on that
ship, having just taken it, I'd
either be retrfitting and tearing
bits out to use or shoring it up
for a defense if I wanted to lay a
trap. And intake vents we can gain
access via? And airlocks not
leading into chokepoints?'

His fingers seperated.

'It's been hit, yes, but do we
want to wander into a large nest
with only pistols? You get that
close, a vampire already has the
advantage. We move faster, we're
agile and we're strong. I know the
automatics are risky with the
hull, but I'm thinking shotguns

and flamers for initial entry.
Maybe even some of the little
toxins I've been looking at.. if
only you lot would let me near a
chemistry lab rather than keeping
me "collared".

He tugged at the restraining
collar: a secondary line of
defence. The neural inhibitor
clamped down aggressive
tendancies, yes, but the collar
restricted his ship access and his
"natural" abilities. He had to
move slowly and deliberatly or
else the thing delivered addition
mind numbing "zaps".

With the briefing apparently over, Sera arose from her seat
and was about to move for her weapons locker when she heard
the voice of Robert Muster, xenobiologist turned vamp, come
from behind. At the very sound of his voice, Sera could feel
her her lips curl into a sneer, a sneer of pure hatred and
resentment. Slowly, she turned around to face her
blood-sucking crewmate.

Looking at him, Sera could see that, at one point or
another, Robert had once been a handsome man. However, years
living as a creature of the night can do a number on your
physical appearance. Now, Robert was pale and livid with
sallow cheeks and intimidating eyes. She also knew that
Robert must have been an intelligent man back in his day. He
was, after all, a xenobiologist, a rather prestigious
occupation. Being 'turned'--slang for being transformed into
a vampire--took all of that away. In a way, she
almost--keyword: almost--felt sorry for the man. Not quite,
though. It's rather difficult to look past the fangs.

                       SERA MOORE
"Thank you for your opinion, dog,
but I think we can handle
ourselves just fine," she told the
man through gritted teeth, not
attempting to hide her hatred in
the slightest.

Sera hated Robert and all vampires, but David Nichols, the
Slayer's captain and a close personal friend of Sera's, had
thought that having a vampire like Robert, one who has been
'domesticated', so to speak, would be a valuable asset to
their mission. Robert, being one of them, would know how a
vamp thinks. Sera saw the merit in the idea, but that didn't

9.

mean she had to like it. To her, Robert was a necessary
evil.

Daniel sat rigidly in his seat as the briefing began. These
gather rarely brought good news and he could see by the
expression on Sera face this was not going to be one of
those all to rare moments. Had no words been exchanged
anyone with a four years intellect could guess the vamps had
attacked again and probably claimed innocent lives along the
way. It was an all too common occurrence and one that
reopened old wounds.

The distress call was particularly hunting, knowing it was
very likely that the voices echoing in the ear drums of the
crew were those of copses now or worse. The thought sent a
chill down Daniel spine but clearly the whole crew wasn't as
disturbed by the message as he was for Ginia remarks about
rewards of a possible sexual nature contrasted his own
thoughts as much as night and day. Sometime that girl could
be more unsettling than the blood suckers.

Daniel was pulled from his disapproval of Ginia by the voice
of Jakinas who apparently new the man in the distress call
before giving further insight into the situation. "I think
we should go investigate and try to help out, but in best
regards this is probably a huge trap on our end being it is
only us and mostly hundreds to thousands of them. We just
better hope that we have a plan to this mission."
Unfortunately Daniel had come to the same conclusion and was
running through combat simulations in his head while the
group continued. "What do you think we should do?" was the
question posed by Jakinas.

Daniel's mind was chaotically going through the situation
when Sera informed the crew they were going to investigate.
Words that made most cower in fear had the opposite affect
on the crew of the Slayer, in many respects they were at
their best when things were at their worst. Rising with a
growl of disgust Daniel stood up and went to retrieve his
weapons already several steps behind Jakinas. It was then
that "it" spoke. The caught and collard domesticated vamp
the Slayer had somehow adopted.

'So that's it? Head to the co-ordinates and put a cap in the
asses of these guys? Fly in, guns blazing? Yo ulot think
we're stupid, don't you? Even after all this time you still
think we're blood-drinking monkeys who just happen to have
worked out how to steer vessels from some weird "still alive
memory"

Although it pained him to agree with the bloodsucker, Daniel

10.

had seen some aberration in not only behavior among vampires
while severing aboard the Slayer but there were genetic
deviation among many vampires as well. After Robert had
finished his warning and received pure contempt for voicing
his opinion from Sera. Daniel gave his own assessment.

                       DANIEL STEWART
"Alas, we have no choice but to
investigate. As we all know the
vampires have been
uncharacteristically quiet as of
late. If these sudden changes are
the result of some new factor or
elaborate plan we must discover
the details, never mind the
obligation we have to attempt to
save any survivors."

factor or elaborate plan we must discover the details, never
mind the obligation we have to attempt to save any

although it hurt him to write off his fellow man. "As for a
tactical plan I suggest we first do a fly by around the
planet to eliminate the possibility of a fleet of ships
waiting to ambush us on our decent into the atmosphere. Now
we can't do a sweep of the whole system less we leave an
people down there to become snake food. Additionally there
is no guarantee vampire ship won't simply arrive later in a
section we have already swept. Next we should eliminate
any ships we can from the sky. Doing so will allows us some
safety in the sky and allow for the Slayer to be an even
more effective fallback point. Unfortunately if we take this
course of action we lost the element of surprise and the
vampires may then use any hostages against us but it will
allow us to touchdown closer to the signal," Daniel paused
primarily to catch his breath but also to allow for any
comments regarding his evaluation.

Ginia was fully aware that, even to the motley band aboard
the Slayer, she was a very strange young woman. She knew
it, and revelled in it. Being weird and off-kilter was
something that came naturally to her, though a lot of
stemmed from a very rational judgement she'd made long ago.
The judgement that since she was fighting vamps, she might

11.

well die sooner than she'd like. Since that was so, she had
few inhibitions and lived things up as much as she could get
away with. If that made others stare at her, so be it.

The Slayer's first mate gave her a stern reprimand for her
remark about potential rewards from survivors, which was
expected, "I don't care what you do after the mission, but,
for right now, keep your head in the game."

                       GINIA MANTARAKIS
"Don't worry, my priority will be
blowing away vamps first and
foremost," Ginia answered
casually, "But if things turn out
the way I suggested, I won't
complain."

She left it at that as they seemed to have made a decision
to investigate the station. Ginia immediately headed to her
own weapons locker and began to pick and choose what might
be best for this sort of outing. It'd be close quarters, so
the heavier weaponry was out. That was just as well, since
she didn't have a terribly large amount of ammo for such
weapons anyway.

Just as she was mulling over what firearms to bring, Jakinas
began to go through his armory as well. Ginia gave him a
perky smile as he stood nearby, while pulling out her own
bulletproof vest and helmet, as well as some night vision
goggles she'd won off another merc in a game of strip poker.
Not the most complete protection, but if a vamp got close
enough to physically hurt you, the jig might well be up
anyway. Best you could do then is blast away at 'em, or
blow your own brains out to avoid becoming a vamp yourself.

Jakinas turned from his preparations to explain to her about
a specialized bullet he'd designed, "Now I know how you
loves your weaponry, I designed these yers ago and figured
you might want to use these Hollow Tip Silver Bullets. Just
aim for the body and shoot. You will love the aftermath."

INT. PREPARING FOR THE WORST - DAY

                       GINIA MANTARAKIS
"Ah, a man after my own heart,"
Ginia grinned again, "I'll have to
take you up on those, as well as a
few of your grenades. Normally,
the only reason I have a handgun
is as an emergency backup, mind
you."

She paused, then raised an

eyebrow, "You keep offering me
weapons, and you might get to know
me... personally.. some day soon,
if you'd like." A perfectly timed
beat later, she giggled, "Just
kidding." Though the expression
on her face said she was only half
or less kidding.

After that, she removed her military jacket and put on the
vest, which had a Greek flag patch over the left breast
area. Once she'd put her jacket back on, she listened as
the resident 'pet' vamp made his opinions on the situation
heard, then got them discounted by Sera. The pathologist
also voiced his interpretation, and that got Ginia thinking.

                       GINIA MANTARAKIS
Once they'd all had their say,
Ginia spoke up, "Much as I hate to
admit it, Vampy has a point. Much
as I'd love to do so, we can't
just go in guns blazing and hope
to blow away all the vamps in the
first five minutes. And even with
specialized bullets, handguns
ain't gonna do the job alone. I'll
be bringing along a couple of my
toys, you can be sure."

She pulled out her semi-automatic shotgun, with specialized
silver shrapnel shells, patting it like a lover. Ginia
slung it over her shoulder, then pulled out a bandolier of
extra shells for it. For whatever reason, the bandolier was
pink too, and obviously hand-sewn by someone with a lot of
time on their hands. Namely, Ginia.

                       GINIA MANTARAKIS
"And the doc's got a point too...
a bit of one," Ginia added, "The
vamps are likely to have ships on
the prowl around here. However, I
think we need to keep the element
of surprise. Hit 'em on that
station hard and quick, find out
what we need to, and bug out
before their friends show up.
Maybe leave someone or two aboard
the Slayer to man the weapons if
we get company."

After saying her peace, she pulled
out a battle rifle of some sort,
popped a fresh magazine into it,

and shrugged, "That's my opinion,
but I am just a girl, after all."

As everyone else was equipping themselves for their latest
mission, so did Sera. She rummaged through her weapons
locker and pulled out the standard equipment: a stake-firing
crossbow, a vial of holy water, a 9mm loaded up with
silver-tipped bullets--you know, the usual. She tossed all
of her junk into a small backpack and slung it over her
shoulder. Then, she stuck her hand into her pocket and
fished out a silver cross.

She held the holy object in her open palm for a moment,
admiring its intricate design. It had been given to her by
her now-deceased mother. Her mother had told a young Sera
that the cross had protected the women in her family for
generations. Naturally, Sera didn't believe a word of her
mother's religious hocus-pocus, but she took the cross
anyways. It was the only memento she had left of her mother
and she would cherish it.

At length, she put the necklace on, burying the cross in the
valley between her breasts. Probably not the place that
Jesus would've liked for his resemblance to be chilling out,
but, again, Sera was never one for religion. The way she was
like this: God had never helped her out in life, so why
should she give a damn about him?

Having packed, Sera listened as the rest of the crew
bantered amongst themselves. Ginia, no doubt the Slayer's
most enigmatic resident, had told her it might be a good
idea to follow the vampire--Robert's--advice. As much as she
hated to admit it, Sera had to agree.

                       SERA MOORE
"Alright, do-" Sera stopped
herself before she could finish
the word. "Alright, vampire, you
win. We'll be extra, extra
careful, just for you. And if we
make it back in one piece, I'll
give you a nice doggie treat,
how's that?"

Sera then turned attention back to
Ginia and Daniel.

of us... well, you know the
score."

Just then, a gruff male voice
sounded over the ship's com
system.

"This is the captain," said the
voice of David Nichols. "We should
be arriving to Nirvana Six in
about twenty minutes. I hope you
little girls are ready," he joked
with a chuckle. "Nichols out," and
with that, the com went dead.

"Okay, you heard him," Sera said
to the others. "Meet up in the
shuttlebay in twenty minutes," she
looked over at Robert. "You, too."

                       ROBERT MUSTER
'Oh goody, cow blood. Want me to
beg or roll over after this little
expedition...?

His eyes twinkled and he rose from his chair. Every movement
was smooth, careful. He didn't want to zap hmself with an
involvuntary twitch. He grimaced slightly. Blood was
necessary, blood was life. Blood was the be all and end all.
Yet it just happened that human blood was easiest to come
by. Humans were eliant on technology; upon metal shells and
black-powder and electricity. Soft pink flesh wich could be
split so easily. And the smell. The smell drove one mad with
hunger, if one had not eaten.

He could almost hear the First Ones call, coursing through
the corruption in his veins. Those years of sleepless
hibenation, clawing at his prison, driven insane by hunger.

Thank the universe for humanity. It was stange, looking at a
race he had once tried so hard to disassociate himself from
by hiding in science, only to be consumed by a sentient
"plague". And now how he envied them and also despised them.

                       ROBERT MUSTER
'Well kiddy-winks, are you going
to trust me with even a sharp bit
of glass this time or am I still
going to have to tear my kill
apart with bare hands?'

Part of his mind recoiled at the thought. Part of it
rejoiced. The beast. The only truly honest piece of him. No
pretentions. Just rage and instinct. And maybe the vamps

15.

were slowly beginning to balance things out now. Maybe that
was why they were becomin g more than just random
opportunists. And the plans the crew were coming up with
were certainly a counter if that was the case. Daniel made a
good point on overwatch. And Ginia... Ginia fo all her
madness and psychosis had that spark of focus that amde ehr
even more dangerous. Robert was occasionally troubled by
her, when he wasn't imagining... other things. A shame she
only had a taste for the "conventionally human".

A short time amongst this lot, yes. And though he was seen
as the rabid beast there wasa certain... respect. One that
came from hate. You respected a wild dog. Even when chained.
And you certainly never became complacent around it. And
this lot were far from complacent.

                       ROBERT MUSTER
'So, if I do well on this, will
you finally let me near a lab...?'

                       DANIEL STEWART
"Oooh, yeah, that reminds me, I'
been playing with these, and this
seems like a good time to test if
any one wants to,"

The young dark haired man lifted a case to the table top. He
flipped the latches and pulled it open.

Inside lay a set of four silvery diamond shaped metal
objects. He pulled one out, and set it on the table. It was
nine inches along its longest axis, and five inches across
the middle. In the center was an opening in which a fan was
mounted. The fan housing was framed by four round two inch
bumps, top and bottom.

Enok reached in and pulled out a small hand grip with a tiny
joy stick, a trigger, and a pair of thick glasses. It
appeared that once again the resident tinker junkie had been
busy.

                       ENOK VAN HELSING
"I call these shatterflys. They
fly remote," he put on a pair of
the glasses, and flicked a switch
near the joystick. The air fan in
the one closest to him hummed to
life. It was quiet and seemed
quite strong for its size.

"You control it with the
joystick," it began to flick
agilely around the room, "an
onboard camera sends pics back to

your glasses, which also have
thermal and UV capability, by the
by, and you can see ahead of you,
'round corners, such like that.
They have a range of about two
hundred meters for the remote."

He landed it and looked at the
others. "The part you have to be
careful with is the trigger
button. Press once to arm when you
are near vamps, press a second
time to fire. The bumps around the
fan have a core of HE, so you get
a good bang for the size. Inside
you got a mix of slivered steel
and silver, both impregnated with
radioactive glaze, light weight
stuff, but it will show hot in
your thermo," he pointed to his
glasses again. "If the boom don't
kill the vamp, you can see them
with thermo. Cool hunh? I have
four sets so far. If they work
well we'll make more."

He turned toward Jakinas, "I would
like a couple of clips in the
silver tips, in 10 mil flavor if
you got it."

He picked up an air powered
paintball gun with a grin. "Also
thought I would try this. I got a
mixture of holy water, and
concentrated garlic essence in the
paintballs along with some silver
alum. It out to be really ugly to
a vampire, neh?"

"Okay, who wants a shatterfly to
play with, first come first
serve."

Sera did her best to conceal her contempt for Robert as he
spoke. While difficult, she was able to block out her
hatred, if only for a moment, and listen--actually
listen--to what he had to say. Once again, the vampire was
complaining about the fact that he was never given a weapon
to defend himself when the crew went on their vampire
hunters.

17.

Sera glanced down at her customized belt, fitted with
holsters for a stake or two. With a slight bit of
hesitation, she removed one such stake from its holster and,
albeit reluctantly, tossed it over to Robert.

                       SERA MOORE
"There you go," she said to him
after giving him the stake.

Robert had a point, going unarmed into a hazardous situation
like this wasn't going to do wonders for your health, and
Sera, despite her hatred for vampires, knew that Robert was
an essential part of the Slayer's crew. Not to mention, a
stake isn't exactly the most dangerous weapon in the hands
of a vampire unless they plan on killing their own kin. It
wouldn't hurt to allow Robert to use one. And, if the little
bastard did try something on the station, the collar that he
wore around his neck would send him up in smoke.

                       SERA MOORE
"If you're good, you can use the
lab," she told Robert.

She then turned her attention on Enok, a descendant of the
legendary vampire hunter, Van Helsing. Enok, who was always
tinkering and tampering with one thing or another, had come
up with a new invention to combat the crew's vampiric foes.
She admired the device's design for a moment, happy to have
someone as handy as Enok aboard.

                       SERA MOORE
"I'll pass," she said at length in
response to Enok's offer. She
patted the stake on her belt.
"Call me old-fashioned, but I'm
content with a plain, old stake,"
she quipped.

Then, leaving the others to finish their preparations, Sera
slipped out of the conference room and disappeared into the
adjoining corridor. She marched down the empty hallway,
making her way towards the shuttlebay. Her boots made a
clacking sound with each step, a sound that echoed all the
way down the hallway in eerie fashion.

Seeing as the Slayer wasn't the biggest ship out there, it
wasn't long until Sera found herself standing just outside
of the shuttlebay. She stepped inside the modestly-sized
shuttlebay to be greeted by the sight of the Slayer's only
shuttle, all prepped and ready to go. The brunette glanced
down at her watch and saw that they would be arriving to
Nirvana Six any moment now. She hopped inside of the
shuttle, taking a seat in the pilot's chair. While she

18.

prepared the shuttle for launch, she waited for the others
to arrive...

"I'll pass," she said at length in response to Enok's offer.
She patted the stake on her belt. "Call me old-fashioned,
but I'm content with a plain, old stake," Sera quipped.

                       ENOK VAN HELSING
"Ha!" Enok smirked, "I knew they
must be cool to have tempted a
traditionalist like yourself for
even that long!"

He waved as she left, presumably heading to the shuttle bay.
The XO liked to be one of the first on the shuttle.

                       ENOK VAN HELSING
"Hey, are we taking Scooter? He
could run one of these with each
hand and still spout nonsense in a
polite voice without even
stopping."

Enok packed his toys up in the case again, and checked the
seating of his normal blade, steel heavily impregnated with
silver. His mono-chain blade always hung at his right side.
He slung the paintball gun on a strap in front, and seated
his heavy pistol in its shoulder holster. He grinned
ruefully, the paintballs had been a pain to make. If they
worked it would be worth it, if not he was going to be
pissed.

He slid his armored jacket over his gear, and headed down to
the shuttlebay, case in his left hand, to wait with the XO
for everyone else to join in.

                       SCOOTER
"Nirvana," Scooter repeated to
himself as he dusted one of the
panels in the room, "An ideal
condition of rest, harmony,
stability or joy. The fact that a
location known as Nirvana is in a
state of chaos would therefore be
considered ironic."

The android emitted a slight whistling noise to signal that
he was satisfied with himself and continued his work.
Scooter - or SC00T3R to give him his proper designation -
was familiar with the terms and definitions attributed to
the word 'happy' but had never experienced such a thing.
Emotions were alien to him. However, he supposed that
performing his duties and following his programmes were as

19.

close as he would ever be to ever being 'happy'. There was
nothing greater than fulfilling one's function. It was the
sole reason that he existed, after all.

Scooter continued to monitor the conversation occurring in
the background and his sensors noted a slight amount of
tension in Sera's voice when addressing Robert. Scooter knew
enough about human beings to understand the reasoning behind
such tension. He did not 'miss' Sera's parents - they were
merely biological entities whose life functions had ended
and were no longer present to require service or feeding.
However, he understood that human beings formed attachments
and when severed, the loss of such attachments resulted in
something defined as 'grief'. He also understood that Robert
Muster was a Hominis Nocturna. It was therefore a process of
association. Sera associated Robert with the death of her
parents creating the resulting tension.

As Sera left the room, Scooter heard his name mentioned and
turned towards Enok Van Helsing. The blue sensors positioned
where his eyes might be fell upon the young man. A series of
files were accessed in that millisecond as Scooter processed
several thousand documents relating to the Van Helsing
family. He was designed to do this whenever addressing an
individual in order to assure that any information required
during a conversation was accurate. In addition to the
chirpy attitude which he had programmed with, it enabled
Scooter to be more personable with those he was addressing.

                       SCOOTER
"Do you require me to accompany
you, sir? It would be an honor! I
have several duties to perform
here but they can be delayed if I
am needed elsewhere. I do not
understand how the term 'spout
nonsense' relates to myself, sir,
however. I can assure you that all
the information I give is current
and entirely relevant! Would you
like to hear an old folk song from
Nirvana, sir? I have several
stored in my data banks, sir. One
in particular, regarding a woman
who lives in a shoe, is apparently
very humorous or so I've been
told."

Daniel was quickly running through his gear picking up two
pistols and extra clips with silver bullets coated in
magnesium. The little bugger had the add affect of releasing
a bright glow surrounding the bullet which experience had
revealed was the next best thing to UV light. Additionally,

20.

the heat generated allowed the solid projectile to tear
through flesh before become liquidized in a vampire. Daniel
was no longer sure which of his crewmates introduced him to
the revolutionary slugs but they had fast become his
favorite. He continued to asses what to take and what to
pass on while listening to Enok in the background. The kid
had yet another toy. It wasn't any surprise, he was always
tinkering. This invention however sparked Daniel's interest.
If it worked as advertised Daniel have to sit down with Enok
and discuss the possibility it could be used as deliver
agent for the retro virus Daniel was working on.

Daniel's ears began to twitch at Robert request to have lab
privileges. The man was a walking monster with the strength
and speed to make the gods sit up and say "Damn". Daniel
stomach started to turn. The man's, monster's physical
attributes weren't even his greatest weapon, given a lab he
might be able to kill them all with out ever taking any
direct hostiles against the crew. Before Daniel could mount
any objection Sera gave her decision. It would then have
been counterproductive at that point to discuss his
concerns. They all needed their focus on the most current
objective, Nirvana.

Daniel started on his way toward the shuttle bay with one
short detour in mind when he suddenly remember to tell the
other to gather any tissue samples they could. It was never
a particularly pleasant practice but one that did indeed
carrier with it the greatest hope of defeating the vampire
once and for all. Turning around to face the other while
still moving toward his desired destination Daniel barked
back loud enough for those ahead of him to hear.

                       DANIEL STEWART
"Hey, got bad news but I am going
to need you guys to fetch some
flesh this round. Sorry, but if
you want to keep me occupied and
out of your hair when we are done
here you'll comply."

It was not long before Daniel came bursting through the door
to his lab. He needed to field test the most current form of
prize. Simulations of this newest batch of retro viruses
where less than great with only a 62% kill rate of the virus
that also translated into a 100% chance of death for the
host. Still Daniel needed to see its real world applications
to evaluate it overall effectiveness. Taking the solution
out of a sealed vial Daniel quickly managed to fill 12
tranquilizers and loaded them to the gun that complemented
the darts. Daniel couldn't help but wonder during this
process that perhaps the infected Robert might provide the
fresh set of eyes to aid him in overcoming the wall he had

21.

hit. Already Daniel was abandoning the total ban of Robert
presents in a lab for restricted approach. With yet another
gun in hand Daniel ran to the shuttle taking a seat toward
the back.

Robert caught the stake and waited momentarily, clearing his
thoughts of anticipation, eagerness or glee. Sudden
adrenhaline spikes had a tendancy to become... nasty. He
carefully twirled the spike, then slid it carefully into his
belt.

'A start, at least...'

He moved from the room, towards what could reasonably be
surmised to be his "quarters". In reality it was really more
an open cell, with a rudimentary sleeping mattress, a basic
locker and a "notice-board", upon which remained a few
memories: old pictures, notes, have scribbled bits of poems.
It was what emerged in the moments of quiet, in the calm
between the red-tiunged fuge that was the majority of his
time. He remembered his life, but it was always a bit foggy.
And in a few moments, he remembered what it was to not
constantly... hunger. Fingers flying across tubes and dials
filled his dreams, if he truly slept.

He needed something to focus this burning energy on. The
crew thought he would turn on them, tear out their throats.
And a part of him desperately wanted to. To feed, to allow
their blood to sooth the burning within. But some part of
him knew that was... an aberration. A lab. He needed a lab.
And biology samples. His blood. Others blood. Just to tear
apart the things that made him averse, drove the animal
within, brought out the beast.

If he knew that, conquered that... perhaps he could work on
tolerating UV radiation. Overcome his allergy to silver. And
silver-soluable "holy water". Maybe even reduce this damable
hunger. Animal blood slaked the thirst, sometimes for days.
But it was like a hit. Each time you needed more the next. A
genetic anomaly, certainly.

He took stock of these pcitures, the memories of a life lost
to cruelty and cold calculation. He smiled thinly. This
little job would be another test of his limits. And maybe a
chance to see how his "fellows" performed. On both sides. He
grabbed at his tatty coat, a long brown leather piece,
stained dark by.. old juices. It smelled stale and would no
doubt appeal to the more basic instinct of the vamp
footsoldiers. A way of keeping the faster, stronger beasts
away from his human pets.

Muster wended his way to the shuttle bay and grinned at Sera
as he appraoched.

22.

                       ROBERT MUSTER
'Ready, willing and able, dear.
Saw you junket robet eyeing me up
late. Going to set it to dust me
to death? And I promise I'll make
sure we bring back some souvenirs.
Alive or dead...?'

                       SERA MOORE
"Ready, willing and able, dear.
Saw your junket robet eyeing me
up. Going to set it to dust me to
death? And I promise I'll make
sure we bring back some souvenirs.
Alive or dead...?"

Sera glanced to her right to see
Robert sitting beside her, a
wicked grin on his lips and his
red eyes gleaming in the cramped
shuttle's bright overhead lights.

"I thought I told you not to call
me 'dear'. I'm not your wife,
thank God," she said to him. "And
Scooter isn't a 'junket'. He's
been with--" she stopped herself
upon realizing who it was that she
was talking to you. "Forget it.
Scoot's more important to me than
you ever will be," she returned
her attention back to the flashing
control panel before her. She
flipped a few switches, turned a
few knobs, pushed a few buttons,
all in preparation for the
shuttle's departure. "Dead," she
replied as she tinkered with the
shuttle's controls. "Having one
vampire aboard is enough. I'd
probably have to shoot myself if
we brought another one of you
bastards aboard."

Jakinas stared around the room before heading back to go
meet up with the group for landing and preparing for their
mission. As soon as he was ready he bagged up the extra
equipment he was bringing along and walked over to Enok and
started to smile.

more let me know."

After passing out equipment to Enok he heard Seras comment
to Robert and started to smile. "Having one vampire aboard
is enough. I'd probably have to shoot myself if we brought
another one of you bastards aboard."

Jakinas started to head back to his locker and went back
through his weapons and started to pick out some firepower
for the mission.

                       JAKINAS MILLOVNIS
Well well I forgot all about these
weapons. He started to pull out
some highpowered rifles he had frm
his days in Spekstadt Army Special
Forces. Anyone interested in some
highpower in weaponry come and
claim what you can before we head
out. That means you too Ginia, you
get first pick of anything you
want." Jakinas turned to Ginia and
started smiling, he hasn't met
anyone interested and facinated as
he was about their weapons.

Ginia was occupied preparing for the infiltration of the
Nirvana station while the others chatted. She knew she
could get their attention if she needed or wanted it, so
that was no problem. After all, she was one of only two
females on board, and the only one who was likely to
willingly grant any of them the sort of intimate company a
woman could provide. If she felt like it. And Vampy was
definitely out. Doing anything, let alone that, with a vamp
made her queasy at best.

Just as she was double checking some special icendiary
grenades, Jakinas came up with even more firepower. Having
caught his movement out of the corner of her eye, the man
had her complete attention when she saw what he was holding.
Ginia just stared and stared at the weapons like a little
girl in a candy shop.

"Well well I forgot all about these weapons. He started to
pull out some highpowered rifles he had frm his days in
Spekstadt Army Special Forces. Anyone interested in some
highpower in weaponry come and claim what you can before we
head out. That means you too Ginia, you get first pick of
anything you want."

And seconds later, Ginia was right next to Jakinas, grinning
hopefully at him. He'd just given her an opportunity to do

24.

even more damage to her enemies, not something she'd lightly
turn down. It also served to increase his stock in the
world of her personal opinions as well.

                       GINIA MANTARAKIS
"Really? Oh, they're.. so...
beautiful!" Ginia exclaimed,
siezing one of the high powered
rifles and clutching it to her
bossom, "Thank you! Some more
clips of ammo for it would be
nice, in case I get to do a lot of
shooting with this one too."

She then grinned impishly once more, leaned over, and tried
to plant a kiss on Jakinas' cheek. Ginia was really that
happy about getting to use a new gun. That and she figured
maybe something might come of doing such a thing. Even if
it was just getting even more weapons.

                       ENOK VAN HELSING
"Yep, you are with us my fine
metallic friend. You saw the ROV's
I was showing? I want you to
operate two of them. I will
operate one and carry the backup
in a backpack. Make sure you do
not blow up any of us, right?"

Jakinas smiled when he saw Ginia out of the corner of his
eyes as she was staring at the rifles that were just brought
out of the locker of weapons. "Really? Oh, they're.. so...
beautiful!"

                       JAKINAS MILLOVNIS
"Oh you think they're so
beautiful, take a look at my
babies." Jakinas pulled out some
more high powered semi automatic
assault rifles with a submachine
gun alteration with a laser
pointer. Jakinas started to pull
out more and more weapons out of a
never ending equipment locker. "I
have had these weapons since I was
in the Army, and have added some
more."

"I believe in being prepared for
battle no matter how small the
battle is."

25.

Jakinas started to smile more at Ginia and grabbed some more
explosive power and pulled out some more rifle ammunition
and passed it over to her. He couldn't help admire her
fatuation that they share with weaponry and high powered
rifles. He rifled through his explosives and pulled out a
new grenade that he has been working on and started to
admire it. He turned and looked in to her beautiful eyes and
couldn't help admiring her beauty.

"Oh you think they're so beautiful, take a look at my
babies."

Once again, Ginia found herself absolutely enthralled by the
arsenal that Jakinas had managed to amass. Not only did he
have the high powered rifles, but he had these beauties as
well! Assault rifles with SMG alterations and a laser sight
that were Army grade? Ginia might well have died and gone
to heaven as she stared wide-eyed at the most recently
displayed weapons. She also thought, 'I could do far worse
than get involved with a man who loves weaponry as much...
nearly as much as I do..' . The pink-and-black haired
gunwoman wasn't holding her breath for much though; the most
that usually ever came out of onboard relationships were
fast, sometimes wild (often due to Ginia) affairs that ended
abruptly. Whether it was the crew splitting up or the other
getting killed, there was always a reason for it. Such was
life as a vampire hunter.

"I believe in being prepared for battle no matter how small
the battle is."

                       GINIA MANTARAKIS
"Nothing wrong with being ready to
fight. I keep an SMG under my
pillow when I sleep," Ginia
responded with her own smile at
Jakinas.

The thought of such a weapon under Ginia's pink satin pillow
with ruffles along the edge would be frightening to some.
Somehow, she didn't think Jakinas would be too put off by
it.

As Jakinas grabbed more firepower out of his locker, Ginia
stood admiring several things. One was the rifle she'd
taken earlier, which she still clutched tight as one of her
several past lovers in the heat of passion. She did break
the embrace to take the ammo from Jakinas, which made her
look at him again. Then he pulled out a new grenade, which
drew Ginia's eyes as well - what sort of ordnance was it?
Likely something new and delightfully destructive unless she
missed her guess. A moment after her smile grew wider at
seeing the new grenade, she caught Jakinas looking at her.

26.

Looking into her eyes, no less. Well, it seemed he might be
interested in more than just his weapons after all.

                       GINIA MANTARAKIS
"See somethin' you like?" she
asked, half-teasing and
half-serious, then continued,
"Once we take care of the Vamps on
this station, or get done with it
either way, maybe the two of us
should.. discuss arsenals.. in my
room... more intimately..."

The most that usually ever came out of onboard relationships
were fast, sometimes wild (often due to Ginia) affairs that
ended abruptly. Whether it was the crew splitting up or the
other getting killed, there was always a reason for it. Such
was life as a vampire hunter. "Nothing wrong with being
ready to fight. I keep an SMG under my pillow when I

though to himself, What a perfect combination for a perfect
woman like Ginia, beauty and a love for her weaponry.

Jakinas started pulling out my firepower from his locker
along with several knivery and bladed tools. Thinking to
himself What else do I have in here? Being as careful as he
could due to not wanting to damage any weaponry he was able
to find his small handguns(which wouldn't be used for a
mission like this), heavy weaponry(SMG, Rifles), Explosives,
Grenades, etc. Jakinas turned and stared at her beautiful
eyes again.

"See somethin' you like?" she asked, half-teasing and
half-serious, then continued, "Once we take care of the
Vamps on this station, or get done with it either way, maybe
the two of us should.. discuss arsenals.. in my room... more

                       JAKINAS MILLOVNIS
"Yes I do see something I like,
that would be you beautiful."
Jakinas started to blush and
turned back to his weaponry to try
to hide his feelings for Ginia.

Scooter stated before his voice

as he recited the conversation
from several minutes earlier,

have a core of HE, so you get a
good bang for the size. Inside you
got a mix of slivered steel and
silver, both impregnated with
radioactive glaze, light weight
stuff, but it will show hot in
your thermo. If the boom don't
kill the vamp, you can see them
with thermo. Cool hunh?"

"I understand, sir and I am most
grateful for the opportunity to
take an active part in the
mission! As for causing any
accidental explosions, I can tell
you that the percentage of such an
event occurring is incredibly
minimal."

He picked up two of the shatterflys and moved towards the
door after Enok, following him towards the shuttlebay.

                       ROBERT MUSTER
      (Robert sneered at
       the
       gun-fetishists.)
'Are you guys finished in the
corner there? Unless you want to
compare barel widths and calibre
size. Which I reckon you'll both
be disappointed with. It ain't the
size of the pistol, or the bang,
it's the feeling after. If you hit
the spot that is.'

He chuckled and then looked back
at Sera and indicated the shuttle.

'So are we just going to have to
sit here and listen to pillow talk
about ordinance or do I get to go
kick in some doos and do my
oh-so-fun bloodhound duty? Cos
frankly I'd rather those two
stopped flirtin' and just got it
outta their systems before we do
this. Here's fine... but if they
start making out in the middle of
a firefight...'

Robert rolled his eyes and fingeed the stake at his hip. He
evidently wasn't thinking about hurting the humans with it

or he'd be on the floor in agony. Right now he was just
itching to stab something though. He wasn't allowed near a
lab, yet, so he had no outlet for any creativity, except for
violence. And he just wanted to set to the foe...

Ginia had been through enough of her frivolous few-night
stands to know when she'd gotten someone hooked. She had
Jakinas hooked, she was sure of that. Seeing what would
result from that was going to be quite interesting. Of
course, there were still vamps to banish from existance,
which would be just as fun as whatever she and Jakinas did
afterwards. Provided they both came back alive, obviously.

His response made her grin: "Yes I do see something I like,
that would be you beautiful." Jakinas even blushed a bit
and turned his face away to hide his reaction. That just
broadened Ginia's grin.

                       GINIA MANTARAKIS
"Well, you'll get to see more of
it once we're back, if you're so
inclined," Ginia told him, giving
a little pat to his nearest
shoulder.

Of course, the resident Vamp had to chime in just then, 'Are
you guys finished in the corner there? Unless you want to
compare barell widths and calibre size. Which I reckon
you'll both be disappointed with. It ain't the size of the
pistol, or the bang, it's the feeling after. If you hit the

                       GINIA MANTARAKIS
      (towards Robert)
"Aw, you're just upset 'cause I
don't take interest in...
things... like you, Vampy," Ginia
smirked, "And I've got a feelin'
that your pistol ain't got much
size, bang, or ability to hit the
spot."

She went about getting ready for combat after that, as if
the whole exchange hadn't happened. After pulling her
military jacket on, she slung the rifle over her shoulder,
put some grenades in the jacket's lower pockets, then
strapped on her combat helmet. Ginia then pulled on her
night vision goggles atop her helmet, and caught what Vampy
was saying to Sera.

'So are we just going to have to sit here and listen to
pillow talk about ordinance or do I get to go kick in some

Ginia strolled over and
interjected, "Hey, I don't mix
that kind of pleasure with
business. I do mix a different
kind of pleasure - the pleasure I
take in blowing the crap out of
Vamps. You do your job and I'll
do mine, Vampy. What I do before
or after we go to this joint ain't
your business."

She then looked to Sera, "I'm
ready, let's get this show on the
road."

Jakinas finished suiting up when he smiled at Ginia and
slung his rifle over his shoulder and put some gernades in
his pocket and two 9mms in his holsters on his gear. Jakinas
overhead Vampy talking Sara about him and Ginia. Jakinas
then looked over and heard Ginia reply to Sera.

So are we just going to have to sit here and listen to
pillow talk about ordinance or do I get to go kick in some
doos and do my oh-so-fun bloodhound duty? Cos frankly I'd
rather those two stopped flirtin' and just got it outta

Vamps. You do your job and I'll do mine, Vampy. What I do

Jakinas grabbed the remainder of his gear and headed up and
sat next to Ginia and smiled while he sat down. Jakinas then
turned to the group and asked.

                       JAKINAS MILLOVNIS
"Ready guys?"

The group sat down and Jakinas started the auto-pilot and
sat back. Seconds later he peeked out the front window of
the space ship and noticed a ship in the distance that was
in trouble. He turned off the autopilot and steered it over
towards the ship and docked next to it. As they approached
the ship he recognized the ship. Jakinas docked the ship and
grabbed his weaponry and backpack and threw it over his

shoulders and strapped it on. He decided to hand it off to
his team and grabbed all the grenades and his weapons and
strapped them to himself and grabbed for his dog tags around
his neck and kissed them and said a quick prayer "udachi"
which in his native russian means good luck.

Jakinas stepped over to the glass sliding suction door and
hit the open button and headed down the conveyor walkway to
the other side of the ship to investigate the other ship to
see if anyone needs help. He braced for the other side and
placed his door decoder to unlock and bypass the door. He
got his weapon ready and scanned each side of the hallway
that he entered, he then turned the corridor and headed down
the side and looked up and noticed shadows up ahead. He made
his way down the corridor and noticed something up by the
individual that was laying on the ground. The person was
standing over him and turned around blaring his sharp
vampire teeth. Jim pointed his weapon at the creature and it
took off towards Jakinas and ran. Jakinas fired three silver
bullets piercing him in the heart two times and once in the
neck and dropped to the ground. Jakinas walked over to the
individual and noticed who it was. Jakinas ran up towards
the man laying on the ground.

                       JAKINAS MILLOVNIS
Commander, what the fuck.
Commander stay put im going to
look for Beth. Shes gotta be in
the lab if she left you alone"
